I ordered a pizza with extra sauce and when I went to pick it up, it was $4 more than listed on the menu. When I asked why the price was so different, I was told by the cashier that the sauce was an extra $3.99. This topping is not listed on the menu as an extra cost and I was never informed of this additional fee when ordering. I understand that additional ingredients may cost extra, but the amount of money I was charged, and without notice, has left me upset with the business. Great place for pizza and pasta. The star of the show was their pizza which was crispy and flavorful. The calamari was one of the best I had. The marinara sauce is delicious and the calamari soft. The chicken Marsala was tasty and huge portions. Service was friendly and ambience very nice. Would definitely be back! read more

I ordered one cheeseburger and fries, medium well with lettuce, tomatoes, raw onion with ketchup and mustard. From where I'm situated, I can look down the street and see the restaurant. My establishment orders food from this place every single day. When I received my order, the burger and fries were cold. The burger was rare and NOT medium well and had no onions on it. I was not very happy with my order so I trashed it. Who wants to eat cold food. I called to advise the order taker Karen what occurred and she was very rude on the phone and indicated that I may have given the food to someone else. Who does that? Needless to say, my friends and I have ordered plenty of food from this establishment on a daily basis. However, we've made our last purchase from this place. The service was horrible, she was rude and accusatory. How dare they treat good customers that way. Can't even make a damn cheeseburger right!!! Do not expect a good experience from little Italy. The good is the pizza the bad is how much I pay for them. I work in a casino and we charge way less for sides.. I totally get it you need to charge and I'm the type of customer that usually doesn't check the bill however my friends questioned what the heck I got for 84 dollars and then it made me question the prices. I got one pepperoni pizza large one cauliflower pizza medium w sausage pepperoni onions mushrooms peppers fries and onion rings.. it was 94 dollars with tip... where in the world are toppings more then the pizza and I get no cheese on the cauliflower which is prlly as expensive as the veggies. I just don't think we should be purchasing the entire vegetable for a sprinkle on the pizza. read more

We recently had a party at Little Italy for about 25 people. Everyone raved about the food, which is saying a lot as most of the people at the party were of Italian descent. The service was beyond amazing, guests with special dietary needs were given the utmost care to ensure they were happy. We enjoyed the outdoor tented area and hardly noticed we were near a busy street. As a bonus the wait staff supplied music via a speaker and we were able to choose our preferred genre to listen to. Found color Menu in my mailbox after a long Drive all day. Wife wanted to get something there. I Ordered Stromboli with NO HAM but extra Capacola and Beet Salad. Was told delivery is 40 minutes so I offered to drive from Linwood to pick up. Paid with my titanium Card and gave Leslie a Cash Tip. Not much is open on Monday anymore. We decided upon Little Italy because I wanted a cappuccino. Of course, the machine was broke. It was an omen. Actually, rmthe warm bread was good. My pastina soup was quite greasy. There were a number of eggplant recipes in the menu, I ordered the rollatini. It was a hearty portion but the gravy was so, so sweet. And, the eggplant did not taste right. Maybe it was only fried on one side? My sister agreed about the gravy but enjoyed her chicken cutlet Parm. We split a cannolo for dessert. The shell was excellent. The filling was overly sugary and maybe marscapone. Funny, I've been to Italy several times and never had marscapone in my cannolo there. read more

One of my go-to restaurants. Love the broccoli white pizza and the traditional pizza. I'm a little disappointed that they changed the chicken cheesesteak from shaved chicken to diced and it's no longer on the traditional Atlantic City bread. Service is always great. read more

I am listing the reasons why my update has been lowered to two stars; Coming in at lunch time we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time, we ordered off of the lunch menu a personal pizza (plain cheese) a vegetarian lasagna ( we asked for it to be made with macaroni since the one on the lunch special was without it the waitress said it would be extra) it was ordered with the macaroni. I ordered a veal parmesan sub. 1. After a long wait ( the restaurant had started to fill up soon after we sat down amd most of the other patrons were eating before the vegetarian lasagna came to the table WITHOUT any macaroni! 2. My veal parm sub came out and the veal was tough and dry as shoe leather. I gestured to the guy with the black baseball cap the manager/owner? and showed him what I was served. No I'm sorry can I get you anything else Nothing!!! 3. Still no pizza half way through the meal. The waitress, as she brought the check to the table said she deducted the veal parm from the check ( like I was going to pay for it ?). This restaurant tends to be a hit or miss spot for me. I ordered a blackened salmon salad, and was a little disappointed. The salad sounded great- blackened salmon, tomatos, avocado, olives, and feta cheese. It was decent besides the fact that the salmon was probably one of the most fishy-tasting pieces I've ever ate. This place is awesome. We are visiting and I wish we lived in this state. My uncle, a local, brought us here when I requested authentic Italian. I tried the marinara in two forms via the mozarella sticks and calamari. I don't even like calamari but thought it was good. The cheese sticks were terrific, the breading even held up the next day when reheated via hotel microwave. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was phenomenal. Salad was "meh" and they'd probably save money omitting that from the menu. Everyone else ordered the shrimp fra diablo and they were happy to accommodate the heat level for each diner. My mom also ordered a crab stuffed mushroom and it was massive. The staff was polite and attentive. Oh! And I almost forgot! I wanted an Italian cookie so they brought me a plate with a mini cannoli and some sort of phyllo clam shell filled with lemon ricotta and it is one of my top 5 favorite foods I've EVER eaten. I like to call these restaurants "mullets" pizza on front and the restaurant in the back. Not many customers for a Saturday night, but that doesn't bother us. Some of our favorite restaurants are never crowded. Bread baskets at pizza places are always good and they don't disappoint. Garlic knots are good and the fried calamari has a light, crispy breading which my wife likes. Nothing like a heavily breaded onion ring. Salad dressing is really good, but it's comes in a cup. My son and I don't like that, but my wife does so that's a scratch. My wife's Gnocchi was homemade and the vodka sauce was creamy. My son liked his calamari marinara and even though the marinara was a little sweet and the shrimp still have their tails (someone has to tell me why they do that) I liked it a lot. Servers were top notch and really nice. My wife wanted to mention that they take the food and box it for you "very classy for a pizza joint". We will be coming back to Little Italy and next time I'll try the pizza. By the time we left the restaurant was filling up nicely. read more

Reason i gave this place 1 star Me and my friend went here for dinner. The food was quiet expensive but it's not worth it at all. I ordered coconut shrimp for appetizer, it's not the best coconut shrimp but it still good so gave me such a high hope for entrees. I ordered shrimp scampi for my entree with angel hair pasta. And the pasta was UNDERCOOKED. How come an Italian restaurant can mess up a pasta? I asked the waiter to cook it a little bit more and im sure that they put it in microwave because my dish came out burning hot and the shrimp became super CHEWY. The sauce wasn't enough and lacking of flavor, and also taste fishy ($26). Then i have tiramisu for dessert and it's not taste like tiramisu (which should taste like Mascarpone custard) but it's just taste like whipped cream. Again, Italian won't mess up a tiramisu It's took me forever to get the waiter attention. The foods messed up my stomach preety bad (both of us) so i asked for the check immediately. It's take forever for them to get it back until my friend have to stand up and look for them saying "we not feel well and we need to leave". We don't mind paying for good food but we do mind if paying a lot for such a bad food. Sorry we will not come back ! read more

Well after MONTHS of searching, I have found the best pizza. Half plain half extra cheese, it was absolutely perfect. The crust was cooked perfectly, not mushy, the sauce, WHOA packed with flavor! Not sweet, not salty. Can I mention the staff was wonderful, friendly, kind, you don't just stand Ns wait for your food they talk to you and even gave me the specials menu for next week. Amazing home made bread. Salad is great, you could tell it's made with fresh ingredients, the house dressing makes it perfect. I have been here a couple times since it opened with family and coworkers. (They also deliver which is very convenient for me)The kids menu is perfect for picky eaters like my kids, there isn't one thing they won't say no to! I have liked all of the food I've gotten from here. The only reason I am writing this review is because they have buffalo tenders on their menu. They are not tenders. They are chicken fingers dipped in buffalo sauce. 100% completely different. Chicken fingers and tail tenders are not the same thing, a restaurant you know this. read more

We visited this restaurant twice in a week long vacation. Awesome pizza and Italian food. Really enjoyed the bruschetta, gnocchi and crab cakes. Most of all AMAZING service. Alright, first time I've felt the need to write a review in YEARS! Listen up! BEST RAVIOLIS and Marinara of MY LIFE, hands down. Homemade, simple and EXACTLY what raviolis are supposed to taste like. My eyes were popping out of my head with every bite because I couldn't believe how good they were. I am not one to exaggerate. My husband got the Pizza!
