I have driven by Sal's probably hundreds of times but never stopped in until recently. The inside is a casual Italian place, nothing fancy, but spacious and clean. We were seated right away and the waitress was quick and attentive. We ordered mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, and a plain cheese pizza. The delivery was a little faster than I had expected (only about 40 minutes, which is the reason why I added a star) but upon the delivery guy's arrival my coworker accepting the order asked him why the bag of food was leaking. The orange broth in a very big bowl gave off an appealing scent and the flavor was wonderful. It was accompanied by wrapped saltine crackers. Ok, I would have enjoyed oyster crackers or bread. Let me start this by saying the only reason I am giving them 3 stars is their cheesesteaks which are the best in Somers point. That's where the niceties stop.
