Spaghetti and crab
Roxanne T.

My girlfriend and I ate there last night. What an amazing meal!! Food was spectacular and service exceptional. Why am I just finding out about this restaurant!!? Pear salad was so so good and I'm so glad I ordered Spaghetti with crab meat. The best! Definitely headed back there soon!!

We really ordered a lot of food, because we wanted to sample it all. We started with the Artichoke alla Romana and beet salad. Both were flavorful ways to begin our dinner. My favorite entree was the eggplant parmesan which was super cheesy with a generous portion of eggplant. My brother enjoyed the veal which was served in a lemon caper sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus. We tried the blush sauce with a side of gnocchi. To be fair I am not a gnocchi fan but I could tell it was fresh. The pizza was crispy and held up to the stand up test. The least favorite was the bolognese with pappardelle. The sauce lacked the flavor I usually expect from this dish. Both desserts were excellent but my favorite was the blueberry crumble cheesecake. Kudos to our server Selena, our busboy and the cook. Everyone was very cordial and checked on us often. Overall a fun night with many flavors to recommend.

Bronzino

was staying with some friends in the area and they made reservation for this restaurant. I am very happy they they did. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and very large portions. The waitress Lisa was extremely nice helpful and professional !!!You could bring your own bottle of wine or liquor with no extra charge the chicken Parmesan was one of the largest we've ever seen. We had a pizza and it was more than we could eat freshly made bread delicious. We also had Bronzino which we shared because it was so large and mashed potatoes asparagus were delicious. Actually, there's nothing I can say negativeabout the food in this restaurant seems like it's made with a lot of caring indoor outdoor eating decor is nothing fancy. But very comfortable I'm glad we had the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant and if I was here for a long period of time, I would come back again. Our friends eat here at least once a week and I can see why.

The best meatballs I've ever had. I cannot stop thinking about them -- or those artichokes. I didn't even think I liked artichokes and now I'm craving these too. Everything we ate was top notch, and good service. We ate outdoors so can't speak to inside, but dying to go back. Definitely among the best food down the shore. Top notch spot!

One of the appetizers was fried calamari and eggplant. Very traditional. My Caesar included house made dressing and croutons. I ordered Caccio Pepe. I was surprised to see it on the menu. It didn't disappoint. Everyone was very pleased with the meals. The service was a bit slow for Restaurant week but each dish is made to order. And everyone is experiencing staffing issues. Our server was an owner or partner. All the meals are prepared to order. Nice presentation and portions for lunch. Dessert was included too. We all had Tiramisu. A nearby table ordered a pizza. It smelled and looked delicious. I would guess it must've been because they quickly devoured it. This is definitely a place I'd like to have dinner. I do hope they do well. Give them a chance.

My friend and I ordered the 3 course meal special, and let me tell you, it's worth every penny. The tiramisu was the cherry on top as they say, because everything was flavorful. PS: It's BYOB so don't forget to bring your bottle of wine. This food pairs well with a glass of wine.

A lot of reviews talk about the lack of service. Our server was very attentive without being too much. I could see if the place was busier how people would complain about the service. I did notice that Santucci's has events most days of the week. We ordered calamari and two personal size pizzas. The calamari was crispy and was seasoned well. The personal pizzas were very big. We ordered a white pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both pizzas were good. I would give them a 8/10. The white pizza had a cheesy bread taste. Which you would either love it or hate it. The pepperoni pizza was good, but the layers are different from what I am used to. The sauce is layered on top then the cheese and the pepperoni. So if you like a more cheesier pizza this would not be an option.

It felt like an earthquake was occurring everytime you shifted something on the table. As a peer tried to cut his food another peer's wine completely spilled everywhere. The staff was aware from the start it was wobbly table, but the other tables were reserved (and some were also very wobbly) so they did not offer us a different spot. We ordered food based on some recommendations from the waiter and some that we wanted to try. Short Rib Fries - Fries were not very good in terms of taste and crisp. The ribs were ok... tasted like cheap meat Fried Mozzarella - Standard not bad, nothing unique Ultimo Burger - the patty tasted like a microwaved, very bland and had to add ketchup for any flavor. Baked penne - was definitely the best item I tried on the menu. Very rich creamy pasta Mango Cart Draft Peers - Not bad. Only $6 for a draft so very reasonable. Cabernet Sauvignon Wine - did not taste good whatsoever. Would not recommend. Aperol Spritz - the splash of soda water was more of a dunk. Not enough flavor because the soda water was too much. The view was nice as you are high up and can get the ocean breeze. The ambiance looks nice, and they have a backdrop "corona" sign. Music was just getting set up as we were leaving, but they do have live music. The staff were very nice, but seemed very inexperienced (not knowing drink names, etc.). The kitchen was SLOW AS MOLASSES. Took sooo long to just get the appetizer and soooo long to get our food, we asked for our check as soon as the food came out. Food: 2/5 - not good food in anyway Ambiance: 5/5 - great beach restaurant feel Service: 3/5 - friendly staff, but terrible tables, and terribly slow paced

Mamma Lena's in Ventnor is one of the most incredible Italian restaurants I've been to recently…read more They're located right off the boardwalk on the first floor of a condominium building so you'll have to do street parking since there's no private lot. I love that they're BYOB and you'll have a view of the pool and the ocean from a distance. Service was outstanding. It was perfectly timed and so personable. They provide complimentary bread with a delicious olive oil topped with crushed red pepper. To start, we split the Caesar salad and this was one of the best we've had in a while! It was cheesy and had the right amount of dressing without being too overpowering. They added olives and freshly made croutons that gave it some extra texture that I enjoyed. For my entree, I had the milk fed veal chop served Milanese style which was nice and light exactly how the server described it. It's like a caprese salad on top of a battered and crisp bone in chop. The balsamic was so tasty and they put a very generous amount of mozzarella on top. This was 17 ounces so I couldn't finish half of it but it still tasted great leftover. The star of the evening was the chef's specialty dish: the Pork Chop Agro Dolce. It's a center cut bone in pork chop topped with carmelized onions, a hot cherry pepper & capers in a sweet & slightly sour sauce over a candied sweet potato which tasted just as amazing as it sounds and looks!! I was dipping my veal chop into this sauce because it was absolutely incredible!! I don't think I've ever had a better pork chop in my life. It really puts others to shame. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert, but I'm already looking forward to my next visit here to try some pastas and seafood. They also had special items that I'm super curious about! Highly recommend this place!

It was delicious. we also had eggplant Parmesan appetizer, $30!!!!, which was delicious and then we had the tuna tartare, which was also very good. The restaurant was very pricey. The atmosphere is nice, but when you look out the window, all you see is a pool you don't see the ocean. It's a restaurant that I would recommend but be aware of the cost and the spiciness.

Our party also had the Fruitti de Mare pasta, veal, and the clams in white wine sauce as appetizer. Everything was exceptionally well prepared and seasoned; it's too easy to overcook delicate crustaceans and end up with garlic flavored rubber. La Padella delivered in multiple outstanding ways. We sat outside, socially distant and served attentively with water, bread (oh dear, amazing bread to mop up those sauces) and waitstaff that literally was running around the corner on a moment's notice. La Padella has taken a difficult situation and turned it into a gastronomic delight. It's BYOB, and you can relax and enjoy a few bottles with your dinner and not feel rushed at all.

Stella informed us that they did not have any availability for seating until 8:30. We thought this was odd as there was absolutely no one in the restaurant, but we walked down to La Padella and we were seated immediately outside. It was a beautiful evening. Our server was very friendly but a bit overworked. I think La Padella only had two servers working and the place got pretty busy. When we were leaving it was pretty much full. What we ordered: Spaghetti al gamberi - Shrimp, broccoli rabe, diced tomatoes, basil, garlic, white wine lemon sauce. Branzino al limone - Grilled asparagus, shrimp, oven roasted tomatoes, capers, lemon basil white wine. Both dishes were good but not great. As some other reviews have mentioned, the food was a little on the bland side. Prices were on the expensive side, especially since all sides were a la carte. Definitely $$$ as per Yelp. On the plus side BYOB. On the minus side cash only. What is up with this in Margate? 3 Yelp Stars.
