First time I went there I had ordered a dish, Happy Family, when I got home unfortunately they gave me a shrimp dish that wasn't what I had ordered but still delicious. The next time I went in and had ordered the Happy Family I had mentioned that I had got the wrong thing the first time. She remembered me and she had realized that she gave me the wrong dish but because I had walked in ordered it she couldn't call me to let me know. She was very apologetic and this time didn't charge me for it which was a total surprise. It tells me this is a place I'm going to want to return to many times again. read more

Really delicious, tasty, fresh Chinese food. Best egg foo young I've had in a long time. Really not a place for dine-in with only two tables and plastic/paper eating utensils, but it didn't matter. First try and pleasantly surprised. Read previous reviews of Asian restaurants and know this is an Asian Food Desert. There just aren't any decent diverse restaurants within a 20 + mile radius of the Beach. Of course, this was a very Americanized Chinese Restaurant. So in this case we were pleased with the dishes we tried. The Wonton Soup was flavorful and the wontons were stuffed with Pork Mush. The Hot Sour Soup was the only meh, wouldn't order again from here. The Beef with Mushrooms was really good. Never had this dish before, however, the entree was enjoyed. The General Tso Chicken was tender and did have a hint of spice. The Szechuan Beef was ordered spicy and FINALLY a restaurant that listens! Yes, it was flavorful, tender, and a terrific spice from hot peppers. The dish did remind me of similar Peppers found in Mexican Dishes which would be strange if my taste buds were correct. I think the dish could have used Mala and Sichuan Pepper Corns instead of Spicy Peppers. All in all, we will be trying this restaurant again and sure hope our next visit will repeat a positive note. read more

We've been going to Northfield Garden for years now and I can say that their food is delicious. The portions are generous and the quality is excellent. Try anything there and you will see. Hot and sour soup is gorgeous and, well, anything I've tried from there is very tasty and hot and fresh. Very good general tsos chicken and excellent boneless bbq ribs. As a matter of fact, we drive there all the time from Ocean City because they're so good. And if you like very spicy chicken, their "hot and spicy shred chicken" will do the trick for you, if you're wanting a seriously spicy one. It's delicious though. The owners are also a very nice family and take the effort to get to become familiar with their customers. We've been very happy to have such a great Chinese place that's not too far from us. We are very loyal to a specific Asian restaurant but had been missing moo shoo and found a wonderful version from Northfield Garden. The pancakes were light and the plum sauce was just the right balance of sweet and savory. The moo shoo itself was light and crunchy with plenty of chicken. We also had delicious steamed vegetable dumplings, authentic chicken chop suey, and very flavorful vegetable fried rice. The owners are incredibly kind and will prepare anything you wish, especially if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies. Pickup was quick and the cost was competitive with other local Asian restaurants. If you want to order online, it is seamless to do so, but we called to place our order. read more

It was pork. When I called, I was as told "I don't pay attention when I order." 2ndly, the egg-foo-yung had egg shells in it, & the bottoms were both burnt. I didn't ask for anything for free, but, after having multiple issues with a 70$ order, & being told "I don't pay attention when I order", I will not order from here again. Got the General Tso chicken with the pork fried rice. It was good, but will probably not get the pork fried rice again. I do recommend the General Tso chicken which I will be buying again. However the fried chicken I got for my kids was very stiff, it almost looked like it was fried again or reheated maybe? It was not tender at all, very chewy. The fries were soaked in oil, which I get it they are fried, but these we're almost translucent, soaked in oil, not good at all. Made me nauseous. read more

we ordered our food at around 545pm on Christmas day, we were given a delivery estimate of about an hour. we were aware that Chinese restaurants are busy on this day. we called a little over an hour later when our food had not arrived, and were told it had not yet been cooked and maybe it would be another 40 minutes or more. We asked if it would be helpful and quicker if we picked it up instead of delivery. we were told , it wouldn't make a difference because it hadn't been cooked. we said ok and waited another 50 minutes before calling again for an update. again we were told the food hadn't been cooked and it could be another 40 minutes or so, no guarantees. it would have been helpful and much more professional to be told the truth right from the beginning that they were backed up and it could be several hours before food would be ready. Or even smarter- stop taking additional orders. instead - we called another local restaurant- placed our order and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. obviously we canceled our order with you and will not order again and will not recommend your restaurant to anyone we know. read more
