I was in last Friday and bought a chicken pot pie asked the owner how to reheat the item I followed the directions and it came out burnt I called on Saturday the women was so nasty it was hard to believe she could be a owner . We had a totally awesome lunch today. MDF, darling daughter and I met for fantastic food that my daughter tasted at a party that she had attended. Wanted to adore the food and the whole concept. But, our hopes were dimmed. We wanted to taste an example of the food before we began to order whole weeks of meals. Today...smh We asked for the sliced turkey with cole slaw and carrots as the sides. Let's start with the packaging....why would anyone package a "hot" entree with a cold side such as cole slaw? Not only does any reasonable person understand NOT putting side by side a hot and cold item...but here we are. Remember we ordered Turkey..not a terribly "expensive" protein. The Portion size was, and being generous, size was an appetizer maybe size. I understand of expenses, but um..if you put the portion of turkey on a sandwich, it would have maybe covered the bread. The flavor was delicious. The other side of carrots was a bit under for our tastes. Ridiculous portion size, and very poor packaging...just not a good experience. SMH read more

We scheduled a private chef and catering last minute for New Year's Eve weekend. David was extremely accommodating and both days were amazing! The private chef we booked was Lenny and he was a wonderful chef. He was friendly, professional and we really enjoyed the experience. The food was amazing! Since the private chef was so good, I was worried the catered food would not be as good but nope, it was! Amy came and set it up super-fast. Whoa baby! How does this place not have a surplus of 5 Star reviews??? Maybe because it is a little hidden gem... tucked away in a shopping center by Produce Junction? Maybe because people that do know want to keep Stir It Up all to themselves?! Everything that you will find inside is from completely from scratch and incredibly thoughtful. Menus change weekly. Think meal prep, catering, fast casual, your favorite deli counter, and the best New American got together and made this baby! Stand outs... there are really too many to mention but I will try! Korean Short Ribs, Crab Cakes, Buffalo Meatballs, ANYTHING with "pie" in it (hand pie, tomato pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, Shepherd's pie), Zoodles (zucchini noodles), Veggie Burgers (Black Bean, Chickpea, you name it!), Mac & Cheese, Honey Brussels, or the Soups (each one is better than the last!)? Something for everyone. The flavors are always complex and nothing I would be able cook for myself and that's what keeps me going back! The best part is I only have to reheat for my family and there is no mess to clean. Amazing! Went for lunch but also picked up something for dinner. For lunch I had the veggie lasagna and roasted smoked paprika potatoes. They were both very good. My friend had the chicken meatballs, green beans, and brussels. He really enjoyed the green beans and meatballs. But as in my previous review he also said the brussels had little flavor and was tough. For my take home meal I got two buffalo chick pea-quinoa burgers. It was one of the best vegan burgers I've had. The buffalo sauce was a great touch. My wife enjoyed the other one also. read more

Highly recommend! Stir It Up catered my mom's 70th birthday party at our home and everything was perfect! The food was great - we went with the crab cakes, brisket sliders, and pear & gorgonzola flatbreads. But the servers were really the highlight!
