Pho Cali is officially my absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area. I come here regularly, and they have never once disappointed me. The food is consistently fresh, packed with flavor, and perfectly prepared every single time. The vibe here is wonderful. The ambience is charming, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner, and the service is always sufficient--quick, reliable, and attentive enough to keep the meal moving smoothly. You truly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but here are my absolute highlights: The Rolls: The summer rolls are a must-try, and honestly, any of their chargrilled filled rolls are my absolute favorite way to start the meal. The Entrées: Whether you are in the mood for a comforting bowl of pho, a hearty broken rice plate, or fresh vermicelli, they nail it. You can never go wrong with their pork chop or short ribs--the marinade is incredible. The Drink: To top it all off, I always pair my meal with their fresh avocado smoothie. It is so creamy, refreshing, and the perfect sweet note. If you are looking for authentic, delicious Vietnamese food with a great atmosphere and zero disappointment, Pho Cali is the spot. read more

Friendly service, ok pricing, a good option in the Jersey area. Portions were big for the price. A clean dining area. The shrimp fried rice was bland with no flavors. The shaking stir fry beef was flavorful but a little tough as it was overcooked. read more

Pho Cali is a solid hole in the wall spot tucked into a plaza parking lot. It definitely reminded me of classic California pho shops, no frills and focused on the basics. The pho was good overall. The broth had a nice clean taste, though it was lighter than my personal preference and not as oily or deeply savory as my favorite bowls. The noodles were fine but not quite the texture or flavor I usually look for in great pho. Service was good and friendly. The spring rolls had a nice crisp fry, and the banh mi stood out with fresh bread and legitimately spicy peppers, which I appreciated. If you are craving pho, this place does the trick and hits the spot. It may not blow you away, but it is a dependable option with good service and solid food. read more

Favorite pho place to visit when you need a good bowl of pho or an ice Vietnamese coffee! Super flavorful and the bowl of pho is really filling! The summer roll appetizer or fried spring rolls are so good! We do like their noodle dishes and rice dishes, but the pho is our family's favorite! Definitely stop by! They're friendly and quick! read more

Was hungover and craving Pho and I'm happy I stopped in. The restaurant itself is no frills. Just some tables and a little dessert counter, but it gets the job done. Service was friendly and my food came out fast. The pho itself was very tasty. Just found the meatballs to have a bit too much chew and the broth didn't quite pack the brightness that some of the best bowls I've had in the past have. Still very good and worth a visit if you're in the mood. read more

Would never go back to this place You order vegetarian and they have the audacity to use a meat base broth and then refuse to make things right read more

What a great spot when you're craving for pho! I ordered their pho. Order came out very quickly. First sip of their broth and you know someone been simmering back in the kitchen for hours. The only downside to this pho would be, this place adds more meats and tripe than noodles. Some people would appreciate that but I'm a noodle kinda guy. Meats were fresh and delicious. Staff are always nice and polite. Restaurant weren't very big. I would say maybe 8 tables. They did a good job decorating the place. Makes you feel like you're in Vietnam. Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the neighborhood read more

Excellent Pho. Stayed clear and hot to the last drop, in the heated bowl. This place knows how authentic Pho is done. The bean sprouts and basil were fresh. Crunchy fresh and plentiful. Service is attentive, friendly and excellent. You're not here for the ambiance. You're here for the food. Enjoy! read more

I had a serious craving for a Banh Mi. On our way back from a hike we ordered takeout from Pho Cali. We got the pork, chicken, and beef banh mi, an order of the chicken wings and the summer shrimp rolls. The chicken banh mi reigns supreme. The meat was juicy, had smokey but slightly sweet flavor. All the veggies were fresh and the pickled carrots were so delicious. The chicken wings were still crispy even after our 20 minute drive home and the shrimp rolls were fresh, delicate and an excellent starter. The service was so nice, was greeted at the front entrance and the restaurant was clean and simple. Definitely can't wait to go back. read more

Pho Cali Vietnamese Restaurant - B2. Banh Mi Thit Nuong - Vietnamese Near Me - Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey

Small store with a good number of seats. Service is quick and the staff is serious and attentive. We tried steamed buns with pork and Thit Nuong Cuon (summer roll with pork). Both dishes were replete with fresh vegetables. The pork seemed a little industrial but fairly typical. I tried the P1 Traditional Vietnamese Full Flavor Phô (Rice Noodle Soup w Rare Steak, Well Done Brisket, Flank, Fatty Brisket, Tendon, Meatball & Tripe). A modest plate of fresh sprouts, basil, and jalapeño arrived before the phô. The broth was delicious and the star of the show. The large is large indeed. There was plenty of melt-in-your mouth tendon, and the brisket is excellent. If you need a phô fix, Pho Cali is a great spot. read more

Worst service I have ever had! People who came in after us were eating before we placed our order. Waited 15 minutes after we were done and had to go to the counter to get our check. Seventy dollar order and they charged us $1.50 for togo boxes! Really? Horrible business practice. Hide it in your costs. Nobody likes to be nickeled and dimed! read more

I love coming here in this plaza because there is just so many diverse food places nearby. I choose Pho Cali because I love authentic Vietnamese pho, their Bahn Mi sandwiches are also pretty good. I chose pho because today was pretty cold and I enjoyed my pho. My friends also got other items from their menu and were both satisfied and said it was delicious. The vibe here is pretty cool with all the neon light and the appetizers were also good! Kinda bummed they ran out of pork buns but it's pretty late and it's a popular item. The manager is so nice and kept checking up on us. He asks if we like the food and how was it with a smile. If you're looking for some Vietnamese type foods, I recommend this place :) read more

There is something here even for the most picky of eaters. Once you try it you'll be hooked. Dined here in a business trip. Perfect for a solo dinner or those in search of comfort food. Menu had all the standard variations, and I was feeling tofu. This annoyed me, but not so much that I wouldn't return for the delicious pho. read more
