I stopped by for a quick to-go order after the gym and was pretty disappointed in this overall meal. The egg rolls are dry and presented in such a sad way. One little piece of stale lettuce. I also ordered a grilled pork vermicelli bowl. The pork is too saucy for me. It's pretty salty when combined with the fish sauce. Doesn't even seem grilled, just like sautéed pork cause there's no char on it. Both feel fairly priced but not great quality compared to other Viet restaurants in town. They were fast to bring out my to go order but it was also sad to see some tables left dirty and no busser in sight. Meeeeeeeh...just ok. As a premise, I am not a Pho eater, but this place came with such high recommendations from our hotel that we made the 15 minute drive. The service was nice enough. The food came out hot and fresh and fast, but I ended up pretty much picking my shrimp out of the dish and eating the rice. It's about a 5 out of 10 for me. I would not necessarily come back. 10/10 loved this!! My friend and I both got vermicelli bowls and enjoyed them! The chili sauce on the side makes a great difference (not pictured). The waiter was very kind. We did order some egg rolls and I'm guessing the waiter forgot to put in the order because it was not on our receipt and we never received them but the food was so good and filling we didn't even need them. Wowowow! Im so surprised these reviews aren't better. I'd been eyeballing this place for a while to try and am so glad I did! I forgot to take pictures because I was starving, but we had the spring rolls and they were obviously freshly made. Loves the peanut sauce that it came with. We both also got two bowls of pho that were SO DELICIOUS. The broth was very flavorful, but not overpowering. We also really enjoyed that it wasn't greasy at all. The protein was perfectly cooked. Ordered a Boba had to ask the waiter 4 times but never came and ended up getting a lemonade after I finished my food, the plates were big and the servings were small, fried rice was bland as well as not having any veggies not only for me but for my family members. The orange ck was over burnt. I asked for my food to be made spicy but ended up having to put alot of hot oil to make it spicy. Even the lemonade was bad. The soup was sweet when it wasnt supposed to be. One of the orders was supposed to be no meat and not spicy and it wasnt even any of that. They automatically charge a 18% tip for groups. I used to work in the service industry so I understand by this time servers are ready to leave. We were gonna order to go anyways. Came here on a lovely Saturday night and I was craving some pho! Came here and it wasn't that lively but I enjoyed it, it was quite and calm. I was seated quickly as well! Great food and good service! It was mostly empty when my friend and I walked in for a quick dinner. Service was great. Menus and drinks were quick. The waiter kept an eye out and waited until we set down the menus before asking if we were ready to order. The food came out quickly but not too quickly. The chicken pad thai was amazing and hit the spot! It was very flavorful, not overly spicy, and very filling. I devoured it! My friend got a pork pho and it smelled amazing. She said it was wonderful. A great blend of flavors and well balanced. The meat was well cooked. I really liked the side of herbs, fresh bean sprouts, and limes that came with the pho. Plenty to share between the two dishes. The place was pretty clean. Same goes for the bathrooms. A little run down, but clean. A good little hole in the wall place. Very convenient location. I've been to Pho Vy a few times, food is not bad, however the female manager/owner that takes orders and works at the register leaves me no other choice but to be brutally honest. Her customer service skills are the worst, perhaps she needs to help in the back without direct interaction with clients. Every single time I have gone she is in a bad mood, this past Tuesday was not any different. We got there and she told my husband "no dine in, take out only" ok fair enough so we got our food to go. We order Pho and I asked if I could have extra bean sprouts (before completing transaction at register) and she replied "I will give you extra" fast forward we get our food in a bag and I asked did you remember to give me extra bean sprouts? She replied "yeah I give to you in bag" well I double checked and we did not get extra bean sprouts (they gave us less than when we dine-in) and when I told her I did not get extra bean sprouts as she agreed, she replied if you want alot I will charge you $3 dollars (seriously? For bean sprouts!) No, it's not about the money, it's about her lying after telling me she will give me extra. And lying one more time saying it was in the bag, an item that when allowed to dine in, we get more of. She was at the register the entire time! So how could she put extra bean sprouts when she is not preparing the food. An older gentleman from the kitchen came out with my food and handed to me?! So I lost it and asked her to stop talking to me with that attitude and to please get someone else to help me because I did not like the way she was talking to me. Although the food maybe good enough to go back, I will not recommend anyone else to go because when I go out is to have a nice experience while enjoying a good meal. I left very upset did not enjoy my meal. I waited a couple of days to calm down before writing this review. She did not get anyone else to help me, so I'm assuming she must be the owner or related to the owner and that's why she feels like she can treat people that way. Two star rating only, high sanitation inspection rating is extremely important for us, a B rating is warning sign for us. We are still giving this place a chance that's why it's been a long long while before I decided to post my review, plus the absence of pricing on their menu is also a factor why the low rating. Customer service is also very important for us, most of the time the warm, welcoming and attentive staff saves the day for a high rating, but this doesn't apply to this particular restaurant. The service/order-taker was a bit snobbish and she actually never showed us any warm reception at all, plus the lady that brought our food was no accommodating at all. The food we had was sub-par in taste, quality and presentation appeal. Perhaps we were expecting more or was it just us? The place looks promising and since we were really starving, our first reaction was supposed to be "the food was great!" but no. Even our hungry stomach was not really satisfied, bland and flavorless food was all we had. We finished our food, it was still palatable but it was only to fill us up that's all. Do not recommend this restaurant: -I came in to ordered special rice and special noodle for to go. I have paid and left to pick up my drinks. I came back after 15mins, and food was not ready. The men's restroom also had a very strong odor to include the urinal is out of order. Here's the best part... the menu is outdated. All prices are blacked out and new prices will be shown at the restaurant. I paid $14 for a large bowl of pho from the old price of $7.95. Not worth the trip nor the food. We were a little hesitant after seeing a bunch of negative reviews on this place. However, we didn't want to drive too far looking for pho. Besides, the negative reviews were more so about customer service and not so much the food, so we figured we would give it a try. Glad we did because it was not bad at all. A few of us ordered the pho special; A good portion with plenty of meat. My son had grilled beef with rice and veggies. We also ordered the fried calamari and appetizer special which consisted of fried shrimp wonton, spring rolls, egg rolls. Everything was pretty good. I also ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee but that was way too sweet and creamy for my liking. The staff seemed pretty nice and friendly. Would definitely return if ever in the area again. read more

This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The waitress was rude from the very beginning. I went with my two kids and my best friend for lunch. I read some of the review and thought this would be a good restaurant to try. So I understand COVID has changed the way many places work. But when we walked in she looked annoyed like if she didn't want us there. Then we get our food and I found a fly in my pho broth. Which I didnt mind I'm sure it was an accident. Then ..... you guys... she blamed me for the fly in the soup and said I need to be more careful. She wasn't going to take it back until I asked her multiple times to please bring me another one.
