This restaurant is located on the corner of Raymond and Energy Park Drive/Kasota. The restaurant is quaint and feels cozy. The food was absolutely delicious. Great menu choices. The portions are plentiful. Worth finding this place. Also takeout is offered.

Upon entering, I was seated immediately and given the menu. Water is provided along with a smile. Ambiance is peaceful with up to date music that isn't too loud. Very subtle setting. Pho broth is good and if it is I usually only add the basil. Spring rolls could be better. Alittle on the bland side for me. The peanut sauce is good as I added a hint of sriracha. There are only two bathrooms. Overall, very nice and healthy tasting food!! If you're wondering what the food taste... I recommend trying this place out!!

Gosh I wanted to like this place more. The service was so pleasant! And the prices are very fair. The cream cheese wontons are probably the best seasoned ones in the city, but they barely fill them. The other reviews of the pho broth being watery were very valid, it was disappointingly bland. I asked for the chili oil to add some zing, but it was really bitter. I just think there are better pho spots in St. Paul, but this place will do in a pinch.

OVERALL: Great value, authentic, and delicious! SERVICE: The service from Andy was so accommodating and friendly. He's always willing to answer questions and our food came out quickly! waters were always full and we always had what we needed. He's spectacular! FOOD: We ordered a ton of food and loved every bit of it. Don't sleep on the spicy wings - those are so good and flavorful. On hot days I love the noodle salad with egg rolls but I'm always a sucker for soup as well. Truly you can't go wrong with anything you order. ATMOSPHERE: It's homey but still seats quite a few people. PRO: It also has a parking lot!!

The place looks small on the outside but it's actually pretty big inside. The service was quick but it obviously took a while for the food to arrive but the appetizers were made quickly. The cream cheese wontons could've had more filling in them but the sauce was delicious. The bathrooms were clean. The dumplings had a little shrimp and pork in them but still good, they did charge me for extra rice although I only had one plate of white rice. Overall it's okay. There is definitely other places where things are a little cheaper and have a better taste but this is not the worst.

Despite the limited seats and only 2 open tables on a Saturday night, I think this might be one of the better Phos in the Twin Cities! You are first seated, then order, and when you are done, pay at the register. So I ordered the 1. Pork Egg Rolls and the 135. Pho Dac Biet, which has an assortment of meats like steak, meatball, etc. Egg Rolls: 8/10 I liked the crispy exterior and it was wrapped tightly. Ny only issue is the price, I found it to be rather high for what you get conpared to other establishments. Pho: 9/10 Splendid! The soup was subtle but flavorful, the noodles were delicious, and all the meats had a nice flavor. I found it to be on par with Pho Hoa on Nicolett in my opinion. Overall, service was simple but quick. I wasn't waiting too long and definitely felt homely in the restaurant. There were tables that fit groups of 8 and the atmosphere was loud, so keep that in mind if you sitdown here. Overall, wonderful spot and the pho was delicious.

Unfortunately, when we arrived around 6:45 pm, they were sold out. To me, this implies that the Banh Mi's are top notch so my goal is to return again at an earlier hour to snag one. There is a tiny parking lot which is nice otherwise I believe you will need to seek out street parking behind University. I don't know what to expect inside but I was surprised. The Bahn Mi has a little walk-up line similar to Subway where it's made on the spot. All other items can be ordered via table service. I got a passion fruit bubble tea smoothie with tapioca pearls to start and my friend and I both opted for pho since our planned menu item was sold out. Pho comes out almost immediately which is nice especially if you have places to be. It was fresh, hot, and came with the toppings on the side to add as you please. I'll definitely return! 4 stars due to the main item being sold out and really good pho but not outstanding blow me away good. Additionally, there are plastic spoons for pho and I was hoping for a regular utensil. Lastly, the waiter was really quick to ask us what we wanted to eat without much time to explore the menu.

You go in and take a seat, eat your food, then walk up to the cash register on the left side of the restaurant when you're done. Oh and it's cash only, no check or credit card here. So I had the House Special #2 Pho whoch included beef steak, flank, tripe, and meatball for $13.95. I also ordered a side of egg rolls for $4. And the Bubble tea for about $4. I'm not sure why the price all of thar somehow became $26 which annoyed me that the fees weren't transparent. Pho: 9/10 Solid option and the broth was rich and flavorful, noodles were thin and tasted great. They gave lots of meat and honestly makes the trip here Egg Rolls: 8/10 Crispy and delicious, my obly gripe is that the sauce that I got was kinda mid. Must have just been old sauce because the flavor wasn't there. Bubble Tea: 7/10 More like dessert and a slushie texture so keep thar in mind. The taro is fine but not something I'd go out my way for. Now despite expecting hold in the wall prices, Pho Ca Dao is pricier than expected. I could compare to Lotus which I had a month ago for about the same price but they provided a far larger portion of sides including chicken wings compared to here, not to mention superior service. Overall if you're in the area I guess this works but note there are better Pho options.

I do like the cultural blend of modern and old school, and you see it with the different type people that come in. The staff there was prompt, and unlike my old school favorite in Richardson Texas... the staff to customer ratio was high. So the service was quick and attentive. Now for the pho. I went with the Dac Biet because I never know sometimes if I will get tough precut preprocessed meats... not in this case. I felt that all the ingrediants were fresh...and catered toward the old school viet palette, which I thank you. I understand a lot of pho house have to stay in business and cater to the local palette but this one was spot on. You can just breath in the right mixture of ingrediants. The bowl was reasonably priced, and the portions were similar to what I am used to having in Houston. It was fantastic as I scarfed it down to quick and forgot to take a picture. However, all the pictures that I have seen associated with this location are accurate. Overall, I would come back here.
