I don't have the vocabulary or creativity to describe the delicious complexity of good pho but if you love pho you know good pho and have probably had bad. This place is delicious! The service is friendly, fast, clean restaurant, nice big screens, and overall pleasant experience. I ran in in a hurry because I didn't feel well. Ordered, sat there for a few min looking around while my order was prepared, paid and left. Didn't check the bag until I got home and it has the goods needed to spice pho, sriracha, plum sauce, veggies, peppers, spoon, napkins, etc. Wasn't missing a thing and it's often that you see fast food joints, who actually specialize in drive-thru orders, forget something as simple as ketchup. The first time I came here was when they first opened and was not very pleasant. The broth was very bland and Americanized. After several months later, I decided to give this another try. It was the best decision of my life!! The broth was flavorful, service is always good, and the meat is very tender. I knocked down one star because the meat and noodles proportion isn't quite right. They put a lot of noodles but very few pieces of meat. Also, they charge .75 extra for take out. I've never been to a place that would charge for take out. I stopped by Pho7anh on my way to Merced. I phoned in my order about 30 minutes prior and told that my order would be ready in 15-20 mins. When I arrived 30 mins later, my order was not ready and I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes. I ordered 4 banh mi pork sandwiches. It seemed like they were making the pork, short on staff? or something. The banh mi had a pate paste that I was not very fond of. I will probably not visit again since I'm never in this area. Love, love, love this place!! I cannot sing enough praises about it. Literally the best pho bowl I've ever had in the Central Valley. I literally drive from my store in Modesto, just to come here for lunch at least 3x a week. The flavor is great, and the food is always served hot and fresh. It's definitely a more authentic pho compared to others in town. I like how when I order it to go my noodles aren't over cooked. I feel like the quality of their chicken could be better, but it's dark meat so maybe that's why. They used to make some dishes with Chinese broccoli but I don't think they do anymore. Excellent food tonight! The egg rolls and chicken wings were homemade and fresh. The Pho is the best I've had here in US since my visit in Vietnam. The grilled teriyaki was a great surprise; it was delicious like off the grill at a family bar-b-que. The service is top notch, quick, pleasant and friendly. We love this place. Feb. 2017 3 STARS We're here again for dinner, the egg rolls and Pho are excellent as usual. I had the Vietnamese chicken salad, I won't order it again, just average and nothing to write home about. But unfortunately this visit we had terrible service. Our waitress was less than helpful when ordering, she forgot our tea, and she has been very absent, we have not seen her since we were served dinner 20 minutes ago. Daisy just drops off your food and never comes back to check on you. You can see the other server consistently and constantly checking on her tables. 10 mins into sitting Daisy comes and drops off the check. Left the restaurant thirsty because Daisy was no where near to even stop her to ask for a refill. Food is great and have loved this place since the previous location but very disappointed in Daisy's service. At one point there were only 2 tables and still was never checked on. So busy wasnt an excuse. read more

Fantastic Pho. We are a vegan family and the vegetable pho really hits the spot. Delicious and filling. My daughter ordered the small while my son and I ordered larges. The large was waaay to much for either of us. And the small was to big for my 12 yr old daughter. The waitress did mention later that they do have a mini (not on the menu) that we will order next time for my daughter and the small for my son and us adults. We didn't even finish half the bowl! Chicken pad Thai and garlic chili wings to go. The pad Thai tasted old. The noodles were dry and hard. The chicken in the pad Thai was tough and flavorless. I asked for no tofu and to make it spicy, they did get that right. Garlic wings had good flavor, once I smothered them in the sweet chili sauce they provided. But the breading on them was nothing but mush. I asked if there was a fork in my bag before I left, was told yes, got to my hotel and no fork. And not a single napkin. This place is the ONLY pho place I've found in the area that provides excellent pho. To me a quality pho begins with a great broth, with traditional spices, adding a complexity and interest. Service is good and restaurant is clean, only thing I would prefer would be a comfier setting for when I dig into my bowl but that's just me and soup. I always get the brisket pho. read more

Shrimp spring roll was good, average tasting. Peanut sauce was also good. A good appetizer to try. They have a good selection of beer on tap and in the bottle. The seafood pho' had a good tasting broth i added a little hoisin sauce and jalapeños to it. The fish balls were fried which added to it taste. Imitation crab. Shrimp really didn't have much taste. They gave a good amount of noodles. It's was an okay bowl of shrimp pho'. It really deserves a 3 1/2 stars read more

What was ordered: Curry stirfry with pork and Tom Yum shrimp soup with noodles. The restaurant is tucked inside of a shopping plaza off of Golden State(look by Prime Shine car wash). It's a little difficult to see/find in the plaza and almost impossible to see from the road. It's appearance led me to believe it was possibly a Mexican restaurant at first glance. Luckily I was wrong. I can't wait to try this place out as a dine-in. Due to circumstances I had to take my order to go but didn't change the fact that the food tasted good. The stirfry was my favorite; I couldn't stop eating it. I wish they had different to-go containers though. The soup was so hot it burned the Styrofoam and it started leaking.
