Beef Noodle Soup W/ Beef Noodle Soup with Well Done Brisket
Samantha T.

tonight was a happy accident! My usual pho place was closed, and I stopped in just time to try something new. I arrived with an empty tummy, and the service was so quick that I was slurping my noodles down in no time! I had a delicious bowl of the Beef Noodle Soup w/ Brisket. The ambiance was cozy & lively - I can't wait to be back to try more items on the menu!

It was a rainy day yesterday and we decided to go to the movies, our daughter was craving Pho and my hubby take us to this restaurant, the spring rolls and calamari were delicious , daughter order a seafood pho and she said it was delicious, she even do her little dance it was perfect for the cold weather I order the beef Vermicelli and hubby the chicken one , I was impressed because my steak and the chicken were grill given another level to our food , the chai te was delicious too and our server was the sweetest, the restaurant started to get really busy but all the staff was really friendly the restaurant is really clean you see all the staff continuously cleaning tables , we love this place and for sure we are coming back .

Fresh Spring Rolls (Pork and Shrimp)

We were craving pho and stopped at a Pho 7 Anh on our way back home from Yosemite. Experience was okay. We ordered the Fresh Spring Rolls (pork and shrimp) and Pho Special Combo. The pho and spring rolls were pretty decent, but nothing special. It was lowkey on the pricier side and service was pretty poor. I don't think I'd come back.

Iced Jasmine Tea..refreshing!

My son had a foothall game in Ceres in the beginning of September. Least to say my older son and I damn near melted in the bleachers cheering my son on. Upon leaving the game I asked my son what he wanted to eat. As I drove my eldest son spouted off ideas as he porused Yelp. With as hot as it was I didn't think my son would enthusiatically yell out PHO when he heard it was an option. Not very many were open past 7 but this one was and was in our path on the way home. This place is neslted in a large shopping center so parking was plenty. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and there were about 5 tables already taken. Waiter came and dropped off waters and menues. We are avid pho eaters so knew what we wanted. 1. My youngest son ordered a large meatball pho. To which he was greatly pleased. 2. My eldest son ordered a pad thai no meat. Gloated that it was flavorful and serving size allowed for take home. 3. I ordered the oxtail pho. Broth was rich. Oxtail was falling off the bone and they did not skimp on how many oxtails they gave me, and I ordered a small. The veggies were vibrant in color and refreshing. 4. As an appetizer we ordered a vegetarian spring roll..DELISH! 5. I ordered an iced jasmine and it was refreshing. 6. My eldest son ordered a thai tea and was pleased. Price point was decent. Waiter was attentive. We didn't realize until after we got our food that they had already started their closing protocol so the fact that they seated us despite their closing time was looming ON A FRIDAY means so much to me. We will be back!

#5's flavorless special plastic.

The interior has a nice, relaxed vibe with comfortable seating and a clean, inviting atmosphere. We started with the calamari and edamame. The calamari was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The edamame was lightly salted and had a wonderful flavor that made it easy to snack on while we waited for our main courses. I had the Korean stone bowl and was very impressed. The beef was tender, flavorful, and slightly sweet, and everything was served piping hot in a beautifully presented bowl. My husband had the salmon bowl and thought it was cooked perfectly with a nice balance of flavors. Another friend tried the coconut shrimp curry and said it was delicious, with a rich and slightly sweet coconut sauce that paired well with the shrimp. Overall, we were very happy with the food and the experience. The restaurant felt clean and well-maintained, and the staff made sure our meal went smoothly. I would definitely come back if I am in the area.

NOT SATISFIED!!! When I open the box of Beef Broccoli which is a very small food I have seen.read more

We were mtg w/a friend who lives in Tracy. There was nothing open on a Sunday in Atwater (the 1/2…read moreway point for all of us), so we decided on Modesto. This place had good reviews so I was excited since I haven't had great Vietnamese food in Fresno. Was hoping this would be a treat. But it wasn't. Service wasn't great. No one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything. It wasn't crazy busy in there either since we there at off hours. Ambiance is standard for this kinda place. Whatever. Pretty big menu tho. Decided to do appetizers for dinner. ORDER: Crispy Crab Cakes: There was no discernible crab in them. Not even fake crab. No real flavor inside. It just tasted of overly greasy crust. But it was crispy I'll say. Choked down 1 & gave up. Fried Rolls: Normally the thing I love most at Vietnamese restaurants. This was mushy inside & bland. Pork & Shrimp Spring Roll: Wasn't filled very much. Like barely there noodles. One section I ate had none but had white radish strips, so I thought it was just lettuce, pork, shrimp & radish. I don't like a ton ton of noodles but it needed triple the amt to be an avg amt of noodle. The best thing about this was the peanut sauce. I give them high marks for their peanut sauce. Fried got pork vermicelli & shrimp spring rolls. Her high praise was "they gave a lot of meat." But otherwise her reaction was "it's ok." Other friend got garlic butter chicken wings. I had one. There was no garlic flavor on the wings but there was a bit of garlic & onion on the plate w/them. Otherwise, they tasted like naked wings. I like naked wings & admit they were cooked well. She also got brisket & flank pho w/out noodles. She said meat was tender & delicious. I really really wanted to like them more than I did. This is only the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever reviewed something where I gave less than 4 stars. Not my cup of tea, but glad they seem to have found their audience since they don't have poor reviews overall. Happy for them. Still on the quest for good Central Valley Vietnamese!
