Authentic Vietnamese family run business, pho was great. Staff were super attentive to our large group and very friendly. The wooden tables and wall decorations remind me of my bà ngoại's home.

Spring rolls

It really doesn't look like much from the outside and the surrounding area also looks a bit run down. However, a visit here is well worth it. Inside it looks more like an old bar, with an actual bar taking up most of the front part of the restaurant. Towards the back is a lot more seating as well as a karaoke stage. The whole place looks a bit outdated, BUT... the food is great. The menu is quite extensive and I had a tough time deciding what to go with. I really enjoyed my spring rolls and my bowl of rice noodles with beef, not sure of the official name. The server continuously refilled our waters and was always ready to fulfill all of our needs. The portions here are very generous and the prices were really affordable. Come here for the great food, not the ambiance.

This is one of my favorite places in Indy! The service is so quick for both takeout and dine in and the people are so sweet. The restaurant is definitely a hole in the wall, but it does the job and the food is so good and authentic!

Great Food and quick. Food was presented nicely Love this dish and it tasted good Very tasty and yummy

Oolong boba - Min

The stewed catfish is absolutely fire--so flavorful and cooked perfectly, with rich seasoning that really stands out. It's easily the highlight of the meal and something I'd order again. The spring rolls are also good and make a nice, light starter before the main dish. The restaurant itself is very quiet and clean, which makes it a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy your food without feeling rushed. Service is very fast, and everything comes out quickly while still tasting fresh. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth coming back for.

Yes it's worth it! Banh Beo (B4) is excellent! It's soooo good. Im coming back just for this. I think I just found my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Indy. Their vermicelli with beef and egg roll (34 Bun Thor Heo) is delicious too but the Banh Beo is the star. I practically ate the whole appetizer by myself even though it's a sharing dish. Pho-ever shirt from the woman is a lovely touch and the really cool grandpa who took my order was really kind and friendly. You can tell this is a beloved family own place. I'll definitely come back.

Great for Any Meal. These fresh spring rolls are perfect for a quick snack or light meal. Healthy, flavorful, and easy to eat!

Chicken pho

I had the chicken pho, and it was delightful! The food and service were great. They offered all of the "fixins" that come traditionally with pho, and were generous with the portion. The environment was relaxed, not rushed, and enjoyable!

This place is delicious! My mom and I often frequent this one for our "pho Sundays". The service is quick and attentive and my order is always correct. The pho is always flavorful with a large portion and the prices are not bad at all. Recommend!

My friends recommend this new restaurant to me. I like the rice noodles as well as milk tea here. It is really Asian flavor.

Drive 20 minutes for a good pho at least once a week. It's even great as take out. Definitely worth it! Perfect amount of spice

And some of it is also family-friendly! And there are all kinds of neat nooks to sit in and things to look at on the walls. I visited just to get a lil' drink before heading over to Lucas Oil Stadium, which is a short walk away. I was told I could sit anywhere, which was a little overwhelming because there are so many places to sit! There are multiple rooms with tables of all sizes, rooms with stages and people playing music, a bar area (for people 21+ only, obviously), and places to sit upstairs. I chose a small table in a quiet-ish corner overlooking a big-screen TV playing some sort of sport. There were lotsa people there when I visited, and I thought for sure I would get lost in the shuffle because I was sitting at a table that felt out of the way. But a server came up to me right away and took my order, brought out my beer (Space Dust IPA) promptly, and kept checking on me throughout my visit. The service was amazing in general, but especially considering how busy they were. I did not get any food during my visit, but they have a full menu of what looked like your typical bar food: burgers, fries, wings, nachos, etc. It seems like Slippery Noodle is family-friendly during the day. I was there around 6 p.m. on a weekend, and there were families in there. But kids can only enter through the restaurant area, not the bar area.

We went before cover charge kicked in, before 730pm that night, and found a table in the back room. I am glad we missed cover because we weren't fans of the Big Daddy Caddy and only stayed for a couple of songs. The service was very brusque and you had to real grab your server's attention or they never come back until bill time. Food was good and reasonably priced. One unique thing I was surprised to be asked was "dressed" or plain for my sandwich order. Dressed is mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion, otherwise it is meat on a plain bun. It was $1 more for dressed which is not noted on the menu but worth the price. My friend got a grilled chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce as is and it looked very unappealing.

It's located inside a building with a cute coffee shop upstairs. The staff was friendly and welcomed us as soon as we walked in. There was no wait, so we were seated right away. The menu offered a variety of ramen options, and our server recommended the Shoyu ramen for my 3-year-old daughter. I added cabbage and mushrooms for some extra veggies. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive, so my daughter started getting a little restless, but as soon as the bowls hit the table, she was all smiles. The food was delicious, and we both enjoyed it. Most importantly, it earned the ultimate seal of approval--3-year-old approved! We'll definitely be back.

If you're hunting for fresh sushi in downtown Indianapolis, Mt Fuji Japanese Cuisine delivers. We…read morecan't recommend the sushi enough, even the original/specialty rolls were excellent. The fish was so fresh, and you could genuinely taste the nori, which makes a huge difference. We branched out and tried the Kumamoto oysters too. Worth it. They're tinier than your typical oyster and came with a range of flavors from the seasonings and sauces. Honestly, we wish they'd been served more simply because we wanted to compare them to the ones we've had in Japan, and all the sauce made that tough. Still a fun order though. Skip the Seafood Pot, in our opinion. It tasted like Bird's Nest to us and just wasn't anything special compared to everything else. Bottom line: come for the sushi. It's the standout, and it's what'll bring us back. With ramen, hibachi, bubble tea, and a full bar also on the menu, there's plenty to explore on a return visit.

This is an odd restaurant. My boss who is a self-confessed sushi aficionado and SME, subject matter expert told me after eating his rolls, that ' they were edible'. That's not good praise. There are several things that really stood out to me about Mt Fuji but the biggest thing was the number of chemical spray bottles and cleaners everywhere. There were also a high number by the front hostess stand. My other companion liked his rolls but he's quite the raccoon, and eats anything. The bottom line is this, if you're desperate for sushi, just know what you are in for, if you getting vegetarian or vegan rolls, you're going to be fine. By the way, the do offer a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Woohoo!
