Featured Creations tend to be on the sweeter and creamier side, but they have plenty of customization and roast options for purists. Food is okay--the burrito was meh (2.5/5), but the pistachio croissant was solid (4/5). Coffee's the highlight for sure. Ambience - 5 stars Cozy, casual, modern, clean. Some visits are quieter, some louder, but always pleasant. Service - 5 stars Friendly and helpful staff, plus they let you sample your drink--love that. As a Philz fan from the start and a current resident of Eastvale, I am so happy Philz blessed the IE with a little bay. I believe at its core, Philz prioritizes the customer experience. They ensure the customer is happy with their drink before they walk out of the store. This Philz is no different! From the moment I walked in, I could feel a rush of warmth from the staff. The interior is cute, open and with some tables for taking a break from WFH. I also like how the mural has Eastvale on it. Now for drinks, my go-to is always the iced rose, lightly sweet, and creamy oat milk. However, I have been loving the honey haze and the pistachio spice - also prepared the same way. IMO Eastvale is lacking on good coffee so I am happy with this new addition AND it's a 17 minute walk from my house so I can get my steps in and a nice drink to-go. read more

I always love Philz Coffee since I'm from the OC area so I'm so glad they finally opened up one around this area! What a nice treat since everything around the area is either Starbucks or Dutch Bros. I used their app to order and pick up was easy and quick! As soon as I walked in, they called my name & drink was ready. I got the Tiramisu iced coffee and it was perfect! The sweetness was balance and my barista Mel did a great job! The space is located in a corner next to Vons & parking is plentiful. You just gotta walk into it, which isn't a far distant from the parking lot. The place was nice & clean. The store was bright and inviting. The staff were friendly and greeted you upon noticing you walking in. It wasn't busy early morning which made it nice since I didn't have to squeeze through anyone to get to my order. I'm not sure how busy this place gets because OC is different and everyone loves Philz in the OC! I came around 7:30am and it was pretty emptied. Definitely a neat spot to check out if you haven't tried it. I recommend buying their beans if you have an espresso machine at home too! Ordered the philtered soul and tiramisu. This is the first time my bf and I were deeply disappointed by a Philz location. Both of our drinks tasted like water so I'm not sure if that's how the brew was supposed to taste like. If I closed my eyes and was handed a cup and took a sip, I'd think you gave me a cup of water. Tiramisu didn't entirely taste like nothing ONLY because there's cocoa powder dusted on top and you can't not taste that, so honestly it tasted like cocoa powder in water. Extremely skeptical to return to this location so I'll give it some time. read more

I live in the Bay and was in town visiting family and was absolutely stoked to be able to pick up a Philz. The location is new and located in a busy plaza. The store was clean and the staff was super friendly and willing to help anyone who wasn't familiar with Philz. The coffee as always, is a top quality pour over per their "one cup at a time" motto. Philz is cute. We order using the app most of the time to avoid just staring at the menu trying to decide while letting others go ahead of us. The app is easy. The inside is nice to sit if you don't mind the coffee shop sounds but hard to sit and have a conversation. We enjoy sitting outside. The service was nice. The coffee was ok. I placed a mobile order that had a pick up time of 9:10 AM, it seems that they don't even make your drink until that time is given. The mobile pick up time is incorrect, because I did not get my order until 9:17 AM, and I was already waiting in the store for about 15 minutes. Not to mention, there were about seven barista's and not a lot of customers inside the store at this time. Very disappointing because after all of that, waiting, it was watered down coffee. I was super excited to see a Philz Coffee come to the area but this location is not as good as the others. I actually really like Philz but this location has been found wanting. I've been here a few times now and it's always long lines and long wait ones for food and coffee. Especially considering most things are already premade and just heated up or put together. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the coffee options are unique even though the coffee was just "okay" and they actually put some effort into the design of the place. Food was okay. But I will say the seats are not comfy and it's too loud to work, study, or meet up with people. This feels like another Starbucks or corporate coffee shop but not as efficient. I then started to order from the app and the pickup times are never accurate either -- today I still waited 25 extra minutes after arriving. This is one of the best additions to Eastvale, in my opinion. In a land full of Starbucks and Dutch Bros, we finally have amazing hand poured coffee! I placed my order through the app and it was a seamless pick-up. Service was warm and friendly at 6am on a Saturday. The layout was interesting but it works for this location. My family and I are so excited to have a Philz in our neighborhood! We visited this afternoon and it was REALLY busy, but expected it. There seemed to be a lot of people waiting on drinks, but the staff acknowledged everyone and apologized for the wait. Despite the extended wait time, our drinks didn't lack in quality! We ordered an Oatmeal Cookie Cold Brew extra creamy and sweet, a Honey Haze, and a Jacob's Wonderbar hot, straight up. Drinks were made perfectly. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at Philz Coffee. Our order took about 25 minutes to come out, which was already frustrating, but what made it worse was the attitude from the barista. When we asked about our order, he repeatedly said "I'm working on it" in a very rude tone. I eventually went back to the cashier who took my order, and she was surprised that we hadn't received it yet. She checked with the barista, who again responded rudely. To top it all off, when we finally received the drinks, the order was completely wrong and not what I originally asked for. Overall, the poor customer service and incorrect order made this a really unpleasant visit. The drinks didn't have any label on them! I ordered the pistachio drink, it tasted nothing like the pistachio, I had total of 4 drinks and all the drinks not what I ordered! I got one decaf mint mojito and one regular, the f barista couldn't tell which one was decaf and which one was it, I ask him and he looks at me and about to murder me telling me he doesn't know!! He was the short dark hair, bald buzzed hair guy,he is so rude and has very poor customer service!! The decaf drink was for my teen daughter. I had to throw away all of my four drinks without any of us drinking it!! So sad and such a waste of my $30. Now I even regret paying 15% tip!! Also, there were no trash cans to throw away trash! And no napkins and not to mention that they forgot to give me my blueberry muffin! When I mentioned this to the cashier 30 mins later, she said oh sorry someone else took it! What a lie, she didn't give it to me at the check out, she didn't even ask me if I wanted it warmed or not, I noticed 20 customers later that one guy got a muffin and he got his right away! she forgot to give it but yet blamed another costumer for taking it! I ordered their seasonal Oatmeal Cookie coffee, it was sweet & creamy. The barista was fantastic, he offered to make any enhancements or add-ons for customers upon receiving their drinks. Staff are very mindful of the customers, acknowledging each customer and wait. read more

Such a nice change from the other coffee shops. I wanted a tea to help with this terrible cold. It was a hot lemon tea with mint and honey. I was pleasantly surprised with the fresh mint. My fist time to visit this coffee shop. The shop was clean and bright. Isaac was there to help me. I guess I looked'lost'. He gave me time to look at the menu and then took the time to explain the coffee I might be interested in. He proceeded to ask me questions about what I might want to add. I was so excited to see Philz come to Eastvale, as i bought a house here after many years of living in Irvine. The coffee at my Irvine and other locations in California has always been a great experience and really high quality. The Eastvale location however, has been not met my expectations at all. I have gone close to a dozen times since open, and the coffee has consistently been watered down and lacking respective flavor profiles. It doesn't matter what day, time, or barista, it has been consistently low quality coffee. For the price paid per cup, it simply isn't worth it. I won't likely be coming back until they overhaul things from the ground up. read more

Used to be a regular at Philz in Costa Mesa and the quality here is just not there (at least not yet). Ordered the philtered soul cold brew twice and both times it tasted sad and watered down with no creaminess that I craved from the Costa Mesa location. The tiramisu drink tasted great on my first visit and flat on my second visit. Will not be returning here until quality goes up hopefully. read more

We came here on Christmas Eve for their official opening and it was wonderful. Service - as expected - was warm, yet authentic. Been to many Philz's before, so I had an idea so the ambience. I loved the flow, since the waiting for coffee is separated by the wait/eat area. If it's your first time, you can't go wrong with the mint mojito. We ordered a cookie + crossiant, which we haven't had before, and it was delicious! Overall, 10 out of 10! I really don't mean to be annoying with this post. I also feel for the baristas here because it gets super busy and they're working hard. I love Philz and come to this one often but I was a bit frustrated today. Today I put a mobile order in at around 9:45 and the app said it would be ready at 10:10. It takes me about 20-25 minutes to get to this Philz but it's the closest one to me and I always think it's worth it. I got to Philz to pick up my drink since it said to check in and it wasn't ready. The app refreshed and said it'd be ready at 10:25. Checked again at that time and it still wasn't ready. Then it refreshed to estimated pick up at 10:45. Had to ask for a refund and drove 20 mins, waited there for nearly 40 mins for nothing. I asked why the app told me it'd be ready at 10:10 and also why it told me check in when it wasn't ready and the response from management was "well it's because it's getting busy" and the tone of the lady seemed annoyed. Well if it's that busy don't turn your mobile orders on? I know a lot of cafes that will turn it off if foot traffic is high. If I knew it'd take nearly an hour (maybe more because the estimated time just kept going up) to get my drink I wouldn't have mobile ordered it in the first place. I also probably wouldn't have been so annoyed if the app hadn't told me it'd be ready at 10:10 and to check in with the barista at 10:10. read more

Haven't been here before but I plan to go back. I find it funny that there's a girl there with the same first name as me. I saw her name card, and didn't get a chance to ask who she was, and would love for her to make my drinks one day. Anyways, I went earlier today with my husband Roberto, we got 2 pistachio spices. My husband has rather picky customizations but even then they got it right. My husband did go back to get it a bit sweeter, but I'd say the service given by Tyler was great, and the rest of the staff too knows him, and he jokes and says he finally got the app since he goes almost every day and had gone so long without it. He says his drinks are always consistently great and it's why he comes everyday. He loves the staff here as did I in that small encounter I realized why Philz is actually different than other coffee shops around asking us to take that sip. Horrible place. Went to pick up my surprise bag that they offer. I paid online and went to get it and when I arrived there were 2 young girls there and I showed them my proof of purchase and they didn't accept it. Said I needed to "swipe" my card again. It shows on the receipt that it was paid for with proof of payment and they still wouldn't give me my stuff I ordered. I was very upset! They had horrible customer service and rude!
