Okay so here is my Foodie Review foor Phillly's Best, I Gave it a three star but that's not a bad thing cause to get a five star you just have to be out of this world but four is next best! I one would like to address i LOVE Fresh Cut Fries which is what they offer they come in these little bags, now this might be a reason for a four instead of a five plus one other so follow me here. One the Fresh cut fries even though Delisious are in these bags which can tend to be greasy and ready to tall apart, Plus the steam cause they do try to get them to you fresh and hot but in turn they come greasy and well soggy (Soft -n- Limp). so they need to revamp how to serve them delicious fresh cut a better way! Okay the next thing Philly's Best ehhh not so..iv'e had better and if your gonna try ot carry a Name Philly's Best you should damn new try to perfect to compare! So we get a philly sub its tasty but do not get extra fixens on it like i like onions raw cause then for some reason it becomes soggy with the Roll and then adding the meat -n- chees etc too and again i will give credit they sure do attempt to give you your food delivery not and fast so notice i said delivery so i account for that and time to get my food! The phillys which they do offer several ways and my Rikki likes one called the Bomb so she never complains but she will eat anything "Hey Mikey"! LOL, so over all was and is good, will i order still Yes, i just would have higher expectations is all but not a total fail by no means try it yourself and see perhaps your not a big Foodie like me! This weekend was our second time ordering from them. We both had cheesesteak subs. Maybe I didn't notice the first time but I definitely think the board of health should pay a surprise visit to this place. It was filthy, the grills were a mess, the sub rolls were on a shelve near the floor unwrapped and the floor was a mess. No one handling food was wearing gloves. Ok, I've had many Philly cheesesteaks in the Delaware Valley. Eaten the good, bad & ugly while there. This place keeps up with the good. A decent variety of sandwiches. My fav has been the mushroom cheesesteak. HUGE portion of french fries. A little undercooked and salty for me, but continue to order them each time with sandwich. Fountain drink machine needs more cleaning maintenance. Love the sports memorabilia on all wall space. They are for sale too! Great blue collar eating establishment. I mean that as a complement. Beautifully decorated little shop that is always clean and with an atmosphere that is very nice to dine in, or to just go in to take one home. The staff is always friendly and clean also. They are very friendly and always chat with you as you are waiting for your order. So many places around here have the people come out of the kitchen with filthy aprons on, so you can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. You don't have those nightmares here. You feel comfortable that they have a nice clean kitchen as well. Best of all is the food. It looks great, it tastes great, and the price is very fair and reasonable. What more could you ask for from a small place like this??? My sons live in Hudson and are always going to that one there who has the same owner as this one. He should be very proud of his 2 places. Horrible food! I got food poisoning. Raw meat And cold fries. This place is extremely unsanitary, and has a rude staff. Blonde lady who claimed to be the owner of the place refused to give me the owners number so I can complain. She used the bathroom and didn't wash her hands and continued to make food. Love this place. Best cheese steaks in the area and very well priced. Plenty of meat on them. Onion rings are really delicious too. Super fast service and when picking up it only takes a few minutes and it's still hot when you get it home. Drove a distance to get here based upon the reviews, opened the door 15 minutes before they closed, didn't even step in, and was promptly told they were not taking any more orders because they were closing soon! I've had orighinal Philly's in Philly and in Jersey and these don't cut it. The meat has a weird hamburger helper softer texture to it. Had my first cuban there as well. We have been on the search for a delicious philly cheesteak and tried this place yesterday.... We called and the staff were so sweet and helpful! However, the menu on FB had items that they don't even have which was disappointing and confusing. (Such as the cheesesteak eggrolls) The flavor was OUTRAGEOUS!!! It would have been a 5 star experience but sadly the cheesesteak portion inside lacks... A good cheesesteak should NEVER be overshadowed by the bread. Unfortunately the inner portions being so small it was more like a meat flavored bread then a cheesesteak sandwich, it should be overloaded and sloppy and messy!!! BUT AGAIN...THE FLAVORS WERE THE BEST!! THE CHEESE WAS INCREDIBLY FLAVORFUL!!! It was awesome in flavor. We tried a new place today and they rocked in size portions (both loaf size and cheesesteak filling!) and while it was a good sandwich, it fell short in flavor compared to this place! Portions sizes are pretty small considering the price and somewhat mediocre quality of the food. Not horrible, but not the best either.

Even the smelly slime that seeps through the bottom of their trash-bags tastes better than any cheesesteak joint around! LOVE EM! :-) How much? If this place was talking about closing it's doors, I'd help advertise and run a few fundraisers for them before I helped a local church lol. read more

I actually liked the food here. We stopped in once and got food took it home and liked it very much. When we were there the guy told us they delivered. We decided one night to get it delivered. WI called and told them I wanted delivery. The kid took my address looked it up and said my house was 5.2 miles and they only delivered 5 miles, but he'd double check with the manager. He came back and said the manager told him no. I understand rules are rules but to me that's pretty sad. Oh well, great food, terrible service. I'll NEVER be back. read more
