I've never been here. I actually thought this was another eatery I was familiar with but it's not it. Anyways, the place is ok. There is a huge parking lot and lots of seating if you want to dine in. There's lots of main dishes to choose from and some sides. I went for the BBQ pork skewers, pinakbet (veggie mix) and rice. I really liked the flavor of the BBQ however, the meat was chewy (like it's a day old). The pinakbet was really good. Tasted like how we cook it at home. Maybe next time the BBQ will be fresh. All the food looked really good but of course I couldn't try too many since we were just out for work lunch. There were a few people in line but it moved quickly. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant needs more decoration. Restaurant was plain and looked like a cafeteria. Overall experience was alright. Could be better.

Bbq sticks yummy

Been coming here for years. Solid place for Filipino food. Bbq sticks here are always good and decent portion. It gets pretty HOT & a little stuffy inside but they do have a water cooler/dispenser and the staff is nice. Atmosphere is nice and quiet, all the customers seems to be enjoying their food in peace. Nothing bad to say about this place

This is a casual Filipino eatery offering different kinds of Filipino dishes such as lechon kawali, sisig, barbecue, and many others. Fast or slow service depending on the time of the day or what day. Plenty of tables for dine-in, and located next to Bulacan Bakery, Island Pacific Supermarket, and many others establishments.

Went here for brunch, as usual it was always a long line. Food is so-so and don't want to compare to other pinoy food providers. Need to work on their services and cleanliness

Steam table of everything you need in Filipino cuisine. No balut though.

The food was great. The service was meh... attitude adjustments needed. The atmosphere was nice. All in all, a decent Filipino food experience. Definitely better than 3 stars.

Really old-tasting FRIED intestines... you can't even taste the "intestine" because it only tastes like OLD, gross oil.
M M.

Wasn't sure if the fried intestines would be good so took the minimum of $7 purchase-- I regret the purchase. It tastes like really, really, REALLY OLD oil. This thought came to my mind.. maybe all the unsold intestines would be refried again and again and again in the SAME oil until they sell all the intestines. That's how gross it tasted. Hopefully, this review will have them taste their food prior to selling. For the other item I purchased (lechon kawali), it was okay. Do I recommend this establishment? Probably not their fried items. They had maybe three families eating at the time I went in, so many their other entrees are okay but for me-- i can still taste the OLD OIL taste in my mouth which has ruined my interest in their other items.

In some ways, finding a great new restaurant is like finding a great new love affair…read more When you 1st hear of a place, your interest in stirred,When you see pics or videos of the food,it's like the butterflies one gets when infatuation begins. When you finally arrive at the restaurant and the food is everything you thought and hoped it would be,you get this smile that never goes away, just like a great romance. Finally when you think back to the time you spent at a restaurant and the joy and happiness it brought,it's similar to reminiscing about a beautiful time spent with a loved one. 3 Star restaurant in Vallejo is my latest love affair. I first heard about this place on social media when a few prominent food bloggers reviewed this spot and said their wings were the best wings outside of the legendary wing spot located in San Francisco. So I watched the videos and saw the pictures and I was truly excited to try them out. Well Mothers Day rolled around this year and I needed to bring an appetizer to my mothers party we were having that day in American Canyon & the idea of finally trying out their legendary dish was my entire focus. Driving down from Sacramento to get this dish wasn't the easiest of drives on a holiday but I was determined. I called my order in and as the saying goes, the worst the service the better the food-well I was pretty sure my food was going to be legendary based on that phone call. I ended up ordering both the Garlic Sauce Wings($15.95) and the Salt & Pepper Wings($15.95) This restaurant shares a decent sized parking lot with multiple tenants-so parking is not an issue. The neighborhood isn't the best part of Vallejo but I haven't had any issues yet with car security during my visits. When I arrived the restaurant was pretty busy but I noticed a worker had a full table that was full just for To-Go orders and I walked up to her and she handed me my receipt so I could go up to the cashier and pay. 5 minutes later I was in my car totally engrossed with the smell of this amazing chicken. I consider myself a true chicken wing expert and when I say these wings were pure flavor bliss-I truly mean it. The garlic sauce wings were a mix of sweet and savory and garlic with a slight spice-a wet wing experience that makes my mouth water just thinking back on. The salt and pepper wings were perfectly seasoned and a bite of that wing paired with the onion and Jalapeno toppings that come with the dish, can only be described as pure excellence. The chef truly has mastered the recipe and cooking technique on both of these dishes. Fun fact-due to various events in my life,I've had to drive to the Bay Area a few times since Mothers Day-I've been to this restaurant three times now in less than a week-I would say the love affair with this restaurant is burning quite hot at the moment.

Traditional Filipino dishes [Vallejo CA]…read more We were in the area and were looking for a place to eat preferably serving Filipino cuisine since we have limited options in Roseville. Hubby found this restaurant and so we drove to the place. First thing you'll notice once you enter the restaurant is the warm temp inside - no AC but they have electric fans going on. To the right is a long shelf with a variety grocery items while the table seating is laid out in the center. TV was tuned in to a channel playing a Filipino movie. This is a "turo-turo" style food ordering, meaning no table service instead you go to where the dishes are cooked in large portions (which is towards the back of the restaurant) and you choose which ones you want. We ordered: Pork Sinigang - a little too sour for me but this is a classic Filipino soup with pork ribs, vegetables, and tamarind broth. Bistek (beef steak) - thin slices of marinated beef before smothered in a deeply savory sauce and topped with golden-seared onions Pork Adobo - classic Filipino dish of pork simmered in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic Kaldereta - goat meat stew I didn't try the kaldereta but all the other dishes were good and delicious. You will definitely feel the Filipino hospitality here. Street parking. Maraming salamat! Review #3929

We originally went for the viral Ilicano Empanadas, those did not disappoint either. They are made to order so you gotta pack your patience, allow about 20 mins from order, it's totally worth it. $7.95 each with a minimum of two per order so bring a friend to share. I cannot say I can finish two and I'm a big eater too. The spiced vinegar served with them cuts the richness of the deep fried goodness. ProTip...make sure you get the bits of picked onions and peppers in the vinegar to add a nice bite to the already delicious empanada. It's a mom and pop shop so don't expect five star decor but it does have a homey touch. It is ALL ABOUT THE FOOD...you can't eat the chairs and tables

This review is for their empanadas only!…read more I've tried several empanadas in the Bay Area, from a gas station in Daly City to private sellers I've found on social media! Out of all of them, this empanada was probably my least favorite one. My mother & father in law are from the Philippines and they agreed. These are really stuffed with meat but they were really dry. The egg was also fully cooked, I prefer a soft runny yolk. The ratio was probably 50% meat, 30% mung bean, and 20% papaya. It was just sooo dry, you definitely needed to drench that in vinegar to get through it. The outer shell was really crispy though! + points for being able to order & pick up same day! A lot of places you need to order in advance.

First off, portions are huge. Love their silogs and the many protein options they offer such as bangus, longanisa etc. Second, not only do they offer breakfast plates but they have sooo many other entree options that seem to rotate daily. It ranges from chicken adobo, to dinuguan, all the way to kare kare and much more. Lastly, they have tons of filipino dessert options spread across shelves on the walls for those who love their carbs and sweets. For 3 breakfast plates, and XL entree, one juice and chicharron, we paid a total of $88 (not including tip). Pretty pricey overall but dang did we buss down on the plates when we got home LOL. Their portions are decent but prices might be on the high side. Everyone there is always friendly and welcoming though. They used to have more seating but now they have just one table inside because they made space for a couple of refrigerators and a shelf for bread. It's a tiny place and there's no outdoor seating so not really a place where you can sit and eat unless you get lucky and arrive early and no one is sitting at the table. I especially like ordering the big platter of Shanghai lumpia for parties with friends or for my child's classroom (it's always a hit with everyone young and old).. my only gripe is the timing of pick up. I used to order over the phone right when they open all the time but 100% of my orders are never ready at the specified time. Even though I give a specified time for pick up I end up waiting at least 10-15 minutes more after the time I requested. I thought maybe it was because I was ordering over the phone and not paying until I get to the restaurant for pick up later in the afternoon so thought I'd try ordering in person, paying up front and giving a pick up time for a few hours later. We arrived a few minutes early and they actually didn't have it ready and I, unfortunately, still waited a little bit. In any case, the wait is usually worth it but if I'm extremely pressed for time I think I would call ahead of time to let them know I was coming to pick up.
