I started coming to this salon around 4 months ago. The people here are very nice and the place is always very clean. I've gotten gel x, regular polish, and gel polish. When I got my gel x done the woman that did it placed the glue all over under the fake nail! My nails looked dirty right after I got them done because fuzz from my clothing got stuck to the glue under my nail. I always get regular polish on my feet; my pedicures always come out looking great and the polish lasts several weeks. The last time I went I got a gel manicure and after 3 days they already started to get scratched and peel! Im definitely keeping my eye out for a different salon because they do not have a great color selection and after just a few days my nails don't look good anymore! I honestly just think it might be cheap polish and that's why it gets messed up. But over all great customer service, the place is always clean, and has tv and music playing which is very nice. read more

I think I found my new favorite nail salon. I chose this salon as its close to my home and the salon itself looks clean and feminine. I got my nails done by Jessica. She did shellac and fixed two broken nails with GelX. I don't think I'll get GelX again, but she really took her time and was very careful with my nails. She did an amazing job. First time at phenomenail and it was great!!! My nail tech was Selina X. and she was so sweet! I really enjoyed talking with her as she did my nails. It was also my first time getting gel-x nails and the process/overall result seems much better and lighter than acrylics! Def recommend:) And also, i loved the ambience inside and the whole staff was so friendly and accommodating. I typically don't like to leave bad reviews because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I was looking for a new nail salon and I came across their page and saw nothing but good reviews. I scheduled an online appointment in the morning for a 3:30 p.m. appointment only to go in and be told that they didn't check their system and they had accepted a walk in. They let me know they were short staffed and offered a discount for their mistake. No problem, mistakes happen, I accepted and rescheduled for a different date. When I went in on my following appointment, I was told that there would be a 30 minute wait and the outlets were close by so I can go shopping while I wait for them to finish a walk in. I understand wanting to take people in if work is slow but what is the point of scheduling appointments when the appointments will not be honored? When I cancelled the appointment, they then offered a free pedicure if I were to reschedule. I ALMOST accepted but how am I positive this won't happen again for a third time? My schedule is pretty tight and I had a trip to go on which is why I wanted my nails done. Luckily, I was able to find somewhere else that would take me in with no problem. read more

This place is okay.. I booked an appointment but they still didn't get to me for about 15-20 minutes and I was sitting there with my feet in cold water. Next the girl doing my toes cut my skin on my toe too deep and i even told her and she preceded to Gas Light me telling me it's because I wear close toed shoes..I've gotten many pedicures never been an issue. Lastly, it should not take almost 2 hours to do a regular pedicure.. the owner is nice but i don't think I'll be returning i just don't have that much time. read more

I have always been coming to this salon but was disappointed with the service today. I had scheduled an appointment for myself and daughter but when i got there, the person who was supposed to do our service said she did not have enough time for both of us even though we got there in time. Well, we finally go started with pedicure, and that was the more disappointing part for me. There was minimal scrubbing of my foot and no massage what so ever for a basic pedicure. I come back home to very very rough feet and I have to do my pedicure myself. Moving on to gel X, she was very quick in getting it done but after the nail paint was applied, the nails felt extremely rough and pokey. That's because they weren't filed after being applied. When i told her that they felt weird, she filed them but wasn't apologetic for not filing them before. After she got done with the nails, she basically handed me the bottle of lotion to apply myself if I wanted to. In my previous experiences, the technician always puts the lotion and massages it a little bit. Also, when i asked for french, she said she doesn't have time for it and that I have to book it in advance or it will cut into my daughters time. She didn't even end up doing my daughter's nails. In the end the nails look pretty but the level of service I was expecting was not there. I love the salon but was not happy with the technician today. read more

I just wish the foot massage was longer - instead of about 60 seconds. My pedicure was okay but manicure was done poorly - she did not cut almost any cuticle (turned out that was her manner of doing it and my preference was not even asked which is insulting). Also, the shape of the nails was very, very unprofessionally made (as my husband said - the nails looked like kid's nails) and the polish was applied unevenly and covered cuticles too. I had an impression that I totally wasted 2 freaking hours of my precious weekend time! Sorry for the owner of the salon, she is a nice lady but the lady doing my manicure (as I remember, Serena) simply screwed up my whole weekend mood and this is not what I came for. read more

Got a gel mani and regular pedicure, a week later my gel nails still look perfect so I'm very happy! Last nail salon I went to my gel nails chipped in 2-3 days. They also did a great job shaping my nails and their customer service was on point. I was really excited about a new salon near me. I made my appointment over the phone and the woman I spoke to, who might have been the owner, was very friendly. I love that they don't overbook. The issue came when I received my pedicure. I can't remember her name but it was a middle aged woman, who did a good job overall, but cut my middle toe while cleaning up the cuticles and sides. I could feel it pinch and looked while she was cutting the cuticles but she covered it up saying it was fine. Days later....it's swollen, hurts, and I can't seem to make the pain go away. I wish she told me on the spot so I could have cleaned it up and fixed it from the beginning. read more

I was sad to see that Cidalia left, but I wanted to support the salon still. My appointment was at 3:15 but was not seen until 3:45 and didn't leave until 6:30. I wanted to try acrylic since they didn't have the shape/size in gelx that I wanted. Alejandra was my nail tech. She did the best she could with my requests but I was stunned that they only have curved shape tips. I literally look like I have cat claws. I cannot imagine anyone actually liking something like this. I also left feeling like my service was unfinished as there was acrylic all over my skin and thick uneven nails. I asked the owner why they didn't offer the straight tips and she said because we want to deter people from doing acrylic and want people to do only Gelx. Why offer the service if you want to avoid it? I want to add that that they increase the price on acrylic again to discourage people from getting it. They wanted to charge me $95 for this set!!! 70 + 10 for extra length + 15 for French. I was like absolutely not. The owner left before my service was over so I wanted the staff to call her. They took $15 off and told me another manager would call me the next day, but clearly that didn't happen. If you are going to have a service be more expensive then an alternative service it better be flawless. read more

I wanted to find a nice nail salon and this one stood out to me. Then i did some further research on acrylic alternative (i have natural nails and didnt want to ruin my nail bed.) I have never tried Gel X and after reading about it, i decided to try it. Cidelia (i hope i have that right ) was amazing. She was very sweet and really went over my expectations and the different available shapes/lengths and color options. What i wanted was in btwn an almond and rounded but also not too short and not too long.... goldilocks nails! She did an amazing job. So meticulous and patient (especially while i was stuck on the phone with a dr appt.) I found my new nail technician! Made my f/up appt already. I will update on durability, but they feel so sturdy. And look SOOO natural. Loved my pedicure too (i think joanne did my pedi) so neat and clean. I dont care as much about ambiance as i do about Great work, but the place is comfy clean and nice. Already told 4 of my coworkers about them. Very satisfied customer. read more

Owner has poor customer skills. I called up to get two of my Gelx nails fixed and she says - "we don't know how u handled ur nails, have to see when u came last" etc. I was quite shocked as to why I had to hear this when I called in for an appointment. I went immediately to talk in person and owner is like " why r you so upset" . she has no care for her customers..she can talk about how I handled my nails if I wouldn't agree to pay... every single time I came I paid (even the time my nail broke the second day!!) the owner is all about money!!
