Jessica has done it again!…read more I went to Jessica last year for the first time in April 2022 where she colored my hair from a natural black to a blonde, and I loved her work so much that I decided to use her again to color my hair from blonde with black roots to a platinum blonde! And I must say, she still did not disappoint and made me look amazing once again! Just for some context, I reached out to Jessica last-minute (only two days before my appointment!) but after working some things out with our schedules, she was able to fit me in right before closing time! I also want to note that I live just over 100 miles from this salon (I was visiting family in the area when I went here the first time and was in a pinch to find a great salon) but Jessica was and is still worth making the drive! She took the same time that she did last time in one appointment - two sessions in about 2.5 hours, and let me tell you, that is not easy to pull off! But Jessica came to the rescue once again! Jessica is friendly, personable, and fun to have conversations with, and she once again made the hair coloring process enjoyable and easy. Their salon reminds me of a spa with beautiful modern touches and the facilities are well-maintained. Plus, they play great music (they were playing afrobeats, perfect for an early Saturday night to get you in the mood to party later that night lol)! I cannot recommend Jessica enough and I wanted to thank you again Jessica for a job well done!

I live 40 min away from the Salon but they had good reviews so I booked an appointment. I did not expect that level of unprofessionalism and cattiness from the employees. I have a very busy work schedule that includes a lot of traveling between Sacramento, LA and Seattle. I only have ONE day off, Wednesday's. Which I let the Salon know. After making the 40 min drive and arriving, I find out that my appointment was canceled with NO contact from the stylist or the salon. She had booked someone else for the same time slot. When I asked to get a different stylist and explained how far I lived the receptionist told me no one was available. I asked to speak with the manager and both the receptionist and Alisha told me they are unable to give that information out. Both kept repeating "we are all self employed". Alisha's reason for "canceling" my appointment was because I didn't reply to her text which had asked for a picture of my hair goals. I pulled up the text thread which shows not just one reply but TWO that I sent to her. She denied ever receiving my messages. I did not receive a text or phone call from neither her or the salon, canceling my appointment. After reading the reviews on here, appointment canceling seems to be pretty standard for this place. Trust me, don't waste your time going here. What terrible customer service and poor reflection on the salon. I left completely having wasted my time and feeling very upset by the entire ordeal. What a couple of employees can do to a business, unbelievable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

After this happening twice, I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here without calling first.

I have really long fine hair, and it was pretty dry and damaged at the ends because I usually only get a cut about twice a year. Luckily, Alex was able to fit me in the next day. He'not like any hair stylist I've been to before. He was very inviting from the moment I walked in despite me being about 15 minutes late (I called ahead). He even gave me a soft, friendly double handshake when he introduced himself. Then he asked me what I had in mind for my hair. Showing sincere interest in knowing what I saw for my hair, unlike other hair stylists that may do what they want or think is best. He gave great input too and recommended a blunt cut for my fine hair, which turned out wonderfully by the way! When it came to styling time, I asked him to surprise me. I was intrigued by his blow-dry technique with the round brush, it added a nice curl to my hair, and I've never seen it done like that before. When he had me open my eyes for the final reveal, I felt like a contestant on a makeover show haha. My hair looked like it was straight out of a shampoo/conditioner commercial -- so light feeling and shiny. I would recommend going to Alex not only for his artistic hair skills but also because there was no the awkward conversation during the haircut which I usually dread, with Alex, it felt like I was talking to an old friend and the time went by so fast! It's apparent that he loves what he does and he takes pride in his work. I plan on revisiting him in a few months for a trim, which I know my hair will be happy about since I wouldn't usually go back so soon.
