They could be better at providing better payment options for customers. They were sent bank checks from my bank, and they refused to cash them. Instead... they held my bank's checks and charged me "late fees" instead. Saying that they did receive the full amount PRIOR to the due date, but since their policy is to not accept bank drafts they held the checks. They know what they're doing, they know they make more money charging late fees to customers. This business should be sued for this, but its not worth the energy and time. If anyone out there is doing a class action against them for stuff like this please contact me.

Recently, I needed a UHaul truck, and even though she didn't have the size I needed, she found a nearby facility that did. Additionally, prior to renting at Easy Stop, I visited other storage places in the area, and Easy Stop has the easiest entry, wider access to buildings, higher ceilings, and wider hallways in climate control units. Prices are better than other facilities in the area, too.

Had a little trouble here. We reserved a unit and two different people confirmed that our moving…read moretruck would be able to enter the facility. The morning of move in, it was discovered that the moving truck would not be able to enter the facility. Not only could it not enter, but the employees and manager were aware that it would not be able to enter since they had a truck get stuck during the previous week. We had to rent a uhaul and shuttle loads, which added to the expense. Of course we didn't realize all of this until about 3 minutes after our contract was signed. We had already paid our movers (Bekins) prior to this issue, and then had to negotiate the new price. Thankfully, our movers were accommodating and helpful (Bekins will get a great review) but blue llama storage was not. I called to ask if we could possibly cancel our contract to find a new facility that our truck could access, and wasn't treated very friendly. Even though they worked it out in the end, initially I experienced resistance from the manager who didn't want to let us out of the contract that the ink hadn't dried on. I asked him to speak with the owner and he agreed to. After doing some research and communicating with Bekins, we were accommodated by Bekins and decided to remain at this facility. I called blue llama and I told the manager we would not need to cancel the contract. He seemed distracted at the time. And apparently he was because he called me again 20 minutes later stating that he cancelled all transactions and refunded our money. So I had to call blue llama yet again to remind them of our conversation. In the end, we decided to leave our belongings here due to the time line and our inability to research any other facilities. Had we known about this logistical issue, we probably would have made arrangements with our movers prior to or we would have used another facility. It really threw a wrench into the process and literally quadrupled the time spent unloading our belongings. What a hassle!! This is a nice facility, very clean and friendly people (as long as you don't run into any problems). But I am disappointed that they did not offer any kind of assistance, or even issue an apology for this miscommunication on their part. I wouldn't recommended this facility for storing more than a closet worth of stuff.

During my working career I have had to store my household goods more than half a dozen times in various cities. Mike, the manager, has the experience and the willingness to offer suggestions to make my life easier. And both Mike and Bryce are great! The facilities are immaculate. This time, as a 73 year old woman, I have had to move into and out of my 10 x 20 unit for the most part on my own. Since I have most often been at my unit by myself, I have appreciated the knowledge that very good security cameras and the attention paid to them are more aware of the total area than other facilities I have used. If I have to again be in the Austin area and require storage, this will be the only place I will call.

This year she's going with me. Noel Larson, the owner of Fabcon, is also an owner of multiple Harley-Davidsons and a Sturgis camping ground. He provided personal attention to recommending the trailer, picking the whole package of motorcycle hauling accessories, and the installation.
