    Emancipated snake
    Alexa M.

This place first off, filthy, tons of dead fish floating around. Then when looking at the reptiles there is a emancipated snake for sale for 100$c it looked super unhealthy and when I asked about who feeds or cares for them I was met with an attitude and told the person care manager wasn't in for me to speak with( I've rescued reptiles for more than 5 years and have had 18 snakes) I asked when a person care manager would be in and was told he's dealing with his mothers health issues. There are multiple issues I saw going on. The health of the animals being the biggest one for me, they looked unhealthy and malnourished and stressed.

Very similar to the other pet store with Pet in its name as well. They have many of the amenities that the other store has but they also include an adoption area where you can ago to adopt cats on the spot. They also have the buy a bag of a bag program which supports local adoption shelters by allowing you to buy a bag and they will donate about your shelter. The animals that they do sell include fish birds guinea pigs mice iguanas and some others. As in any pet store that allows you to bring your dogs in make sure you watch where you step as most customers are good about cleaning up their pet's messes but there's always that one that will forget. Hey strong recommendation is to get your pet and ID tag so that if anything happens and your pet does get out people will know where your pet came from.

Had a great experience going today, a girl with a blue pixie cut helped me out and she was amazing! I just bought my son a bearded dragon and she answered ALL my questions and she was super knowledgeable. She was great! Will definitely be going back to this location in the future.

What were trying to do? Whatever it was, it's bad for our dog since the fur is there to keep him warm in winter and now that's half gone

How about not injuring anyone's pets in the first place? I did bring her to vet and they agreed that they scrubbed a sensitive area too hard. I didn't bring her the bill because, she seemed like a nice lady and I truly thought it was a mistake. She offered a free groom that I said no to and said I will pay but she refused the money, I had my son stay in the store with my dog. Then came her rudeness out of the blue! She sent me texts galore, saying how she might need special shampoo, pictures of someone else's dog? So confused. What she doesn't remember is that 14 years ago she groomed my cocker spaniel, Maggie. She did a good job ( I did always have to touch up her cut but it never really bothered me) and was always nice but then again Maggie Mae was older and so forgiving and sweet. I never saw any injury but she had long hair. Now, fast forward I have this beautiful and sweet frenchie who is also forgiving and sweet but she's still so young. To see a wound on her just broke my heart. If anyone is interested in seeing the rude texts please contact me. Please don't put your baby at risk . It's just not worth it. You never know and it only takes one time and now I have leaned a valuable lesson, unfortunately. Please be careful here and don't just drop off your dog and trust. Contact me for details. I have them all in writing. Ohh and don't miss an appointment because, say you may have broken your ankle like I did, because her response was that she will no longer take a cancellation for a health reason! Cherry on top of the cake. Btw, this cancellation was before she hurt my dog. Please just beware. Again, please contact me if you're considering going here.

We stumbled upon this place and brought our dog here. When my husband was dropping him off, he was explaining to them what kind of Cut he wanted them to do. He said just a simple trim nothing too short. The woman looked at him and flat out, said "I have no clue what you want", And she called for somebody else to come over and yelled "This guy is asking for something and I don't know what he wants." - In a very rude tone. Mind you, we are brand new customers, this is our first time there. Our dog is a golden retriever and so he's the happiest dog you'll ever meet. Because it was our first time I called an hour later to check up and see what his status was and how he's doing. The woman that worked there (didn't get her name but she was a very tough and rude woman) was very mean as if I was bothering her when I called. I simply was asking for an update to see when my dog would be done, but she was not very polite. After picking him up, we noticed that he was not Himself. He was pulling us to leave. When we brought him home, he was very quiet and not his happy self. A month later we had another appointment booked and as we were walking close to the door We noticed our dog, pulling us the opposite way- He was basically telling us that he did not want to go inside. That was a huge red flag for me. I knew something happened during his first grooming Session And I'm glad we trusted our instinct the second time and didn't go through that door. Unfortunately This is not the first time I've heard of an experience like this from This place. 2 other friends who have dogs stopped going there too because of similar stories. I don't know what happens behind closed doors at Studio Groomers, But all I know is that if they treat humans like myself so mean and rude, then I can't imagine how they treat dogs. I am really concerned about this place and their staff. Please, if you're reading this be cautious before going here if you care about your pet.

She always did a great job on my dogs grooming and i was happy she was still in close proximity to me. I had heard she left and since I had a gift card I brought my dog there to try a new groomer. The groomer did a nice job on my dog. I have no complaints about her at all. She was very polite and professional and cut my dog just like how I asked her.. very nice job.. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the receptionist. She needs an class in customer service!! Very rude and unprofessional. Spoke to me very nastily. The other person waiting in the lobby told me I should write a review on yelp as she could not believe the rudeness either. I'm not sure who the owner of this establishment is .. not sure if it is a person named Shawn but if it is you might want to find a nicer and more tolerant professional person to run your front desk. Since the price of my dog went up 20 dollars since Anna left I was willing to pay but to be abused and rudely treated is unacceptable. Especially since there are plenty of other places to bring your dog that are on par with your pricing or a little less.. I will be taking my dog elsewhere .

Greetings again fellow Yelpers...... Although it has taken…read moresome time for Ownership to offer a rebuttal, it finally was posted. In order to continue to provide you with factual, informative feedback, this latest evaluation of that response is now posted. Ownership contends that the "pack" is walked 3 x per day. When closed circuit video was operable, clearly, the dogs within the large play area were not taken outside; this was verifiable after watching the camera feed continuously over an 8 hr period. (There is insufficient staff to walk all of the dogs, on leash, within the nearby wooded area.) Sadly, the dogs continue to relieve themselves directly onto the play floor. The suggestion that existing smells on the floor contribute to the triggering of relieving themselves is lame at best. Considering that the play floor is sanitised regularly, and that it is a sealed floor, the dogs are simply compelled to relieve themselves onto the floor; there are no lingering smells. Don't forget, a single staff member is assigned to immediately clean up after the dogs "go". With regard to dog owners using the view window to check up on their furry friends, that window is limited to the small dog play area. Unless dog owners intend to camp out at the one window, it's unreasonable to suggest that the one view window provides proof of the dogs being walked, the lack of a closed circuit TV feed notwithstanding. TV feeds for dog owners was taken down several years ago; you should be concerned about that decision.

Our main goals were to address poor manners when people came over (jumping/barking), poor leash manners (pulling/leading the walk/leash aggression for one of them), and all around general behavior training. We wanted, and needed, help to rectify these things before our son became truly mobile. We emailed Pat on a Friday night and he called the next day. We spoke for over an hour and he reassured us that things would be okay. We scheduled a training session for later that week and haven't looked back. He is an incredible teacher; he took the time to learn about our dogs, our family dynamic, and what our hopes were for the training sessions. He began teaching us right away and showed us how to get into the minds of our dogs. We are five sessions in and there has been such a vast improvement already. We are currently working on walking both dogs and pushing the stroller - a dream of mine - that is soon to be a reality. We genuinely look forward to each session and getting to hang with Pat. Our pack was definitely out of whack but Pat has been instrumental in teaching us how to teach our dogs and reframe our thinking. If you are looking for a no BS, honest, caring trainer/behaviorist, and you are willing to trust someone, and put in the time and work, look no further - he is definitely your guy. We cannot recommend him enough.
