If you knew me, you would know my two pugs are my absolute world; so when it comes to getting the closest thing to perfect for them, I do it. My mom has brought her dogs to places like Petco before who would make her dogs deathly ill - it was terrifying. It scared me to trust anyone with handling my two babies without my supervision to the point where it would literally cause me anxiety even thinking about. Once I moved to this area, I said to myself it's time for me to try and trust somewhere to bathe them for my sake and their sake. Finally, after doing some hard core research I came across this place and reached out to the owners via Facebook. They were so nice to me, quick at responding and clearly cared about the dogs well beings! I was SO happy with the first time they got groomed and I knew I'd be returning again. She has always given our two doggies Benji & Ruby, the best service and treatment. The doggies are happy to see her as we are, and they look like AKC show dogs when she is finished with them. Sandra always gives us a report when we go to pick then ups, such as if she noticed something that may need Vet attention as well as how our two doggies were during the grooming process. Sandra provides detailed attention to our two companions. We have previously tried other groomers before we found Sandra. As we said she is a caring gentle detailed groomer. Even worse, they have been known to shave dogs without the owner's approval, which is completely unacceptable. They also charge $100 or more and insist on cash only, which feels unprofessional and questionable. I've had multiple warnings from other dog owners not to go there -- and now I understand why. The name "My Loyal Pup" is misleading. If you love your dog, stay away from this place

When I picked him up he was bald in several areas, all his 'feathers' and bangs severely chopped and irregular. The worse part is that he's traumatized and vulnerable ho sunburn. His hair will grow back of course and he can wear a t-shirt, but it will take a or longer to rebuild his spirit I was so stunned at pick-up that I let my husband pay the bill and left. When I said that price for that is ridiculous, she said she is 60 and needs the money. When I refused to pay 50 dollars for her to only cut my dogs nails and clean his ears, she rudely told me that she was busy and to take my dog elsewhere because my dog was not welcome here. I am shocked and upset that this woman was so rude to me and my dog. I will never come back here, and you are better off taking your dog to PetSmart to get groomed.

The Spotted Dog actually started out as a trial for me because I knew that I had some travel plans and I needed to know that I had someone trustworthy to care for my Morkie named Mia. Unfortunately, she does have anxiety so that presented with its own set of issues. The staff went above and beyond to always make sure that she was well taken care of, and that I was always kept in the loop, especially when she was there overnight. They knew I was worried but they went out of their way to put my mind at ease. It didn't take long for me to realize that having her try daycare here and there may not be a bad idea! Although it's not every day, it definitely works in a pinch. My schedule changes frequently and they are amazing! They are very flexible and accommodating, and as soon as Mia walks through those doors, she doesn't even look back! She is so happy and well cared for! The staff is loving and sweet and I know that I have nothing to worry about. As if that's not enough...my girl also gets groomed there and looks absolutely adorable. Even though her ears are a bit oversized for her little body, the groomer knows just how to shape them so they look perfect! I explained to her exactly what I wanted and it is exactly what we got!
