Always thoughtful in responses and my dog was willing to go. That's one of the best things. Over the years I had several groomers. TV his was the first one that he didn't resist going into. That's a biggie! Her work was always excellent. Pricing fair. Shop clean. read more

Ellie's Grooming - Pet Groomers Near Me - Newfoundland, New Jersey

Elli's was great, my Cavapoo puppy had his first haircut. He was very head shy so they took their time trimmed by hand and gave a full update on how my puppy reacted and what they did to calm him. I will be back, my puppy came home happy and smelled great! Would definitely recommend! read more

Ellie's Grooming did an amazing job on my feisty chihuahua's nails! They were excellent. Definitely going back.

Been traveling to get Archie groomed at Ellie's since he was a puppy. He can be high anxiety but doesn't stress when he goes there. Comes back beautifully groomed and she does an awesome job deshedding him which is his only flaw! read more

Ellie pays so much attention to detail! Ellie is always so accommodating. Harley, the receptionist was so understanding of my dogs needs and booked my appointment perfectly. My little angel came home so happy and loved I just knew this was our new home. read more

They always do a great job here and look out for the dogs comfort at the same time. Great with all the pups that I've seen them with! :-)

This is my first time ever posting a review of a dog grooming salon and my dog is 8 years old. she had been to numerous groomers during her 8 years and absolutely hates, I mean hates to have her face touched by anyone! she also would come home and stay under the chair for 2 to 3 days after a grooming appt. But, at Ellie's she always her old self as soon as she sees us!!! Happy and excited to go home, of course, but she acts as though nothing happened. I make a point to drive to Ellie's which takes me a good 35 minutes, but Ellie make my dog feel safe (and beautiful too) and what dog owner wouldn't do everything possible for the pet they love. read more

Ellie's Grooming - Marley's beautiful grooming by Ellie!!! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Newfoundland, New Jersey

I have an 18 month old lab who I normally bathed at Pet Value since they had a dog wash and I have a bad back. I found Ellies here on yelp and scheduled an appointment. My Vinny had a great time at the beauty parlor! I'll definitely be returning. Prices are fare and he got a bath, ears cleaned, nails clipped and his teeth brushed. He looks and smells marvelous!!! Staff was great, prompt and very sweet! We will definitely return the next time Vinny needs a bath. So convenient to the Shop Rite. I dropped him off, did my grocery shopping and an hour later as I was pulling into Ellies lot, they called to tell me he was ready. Perfect timing. Thank you Ellie!!! I highly recommend!, read more

Incompetent staff members, sloppy set up and unprofessional. Try to get an answer from these guys is beating a dead horse, just pass the buck. read more

My Lab is 15 and skittish so I was apprehensive about bringing her in but I am so happy I did. Phoenix was wagging her tail when we picked her up and I could not be happier. The girls noticed her ear infections and were gentle with her and a gave us the best advice they could. Plus they got her nails nice and short, maybe the for the first time in her life! She has long quicks so everyone is scared to hurt her. She got home and slept like like an angel, thanks ladies. We will be back . -Tina read more

Ellie rocks. I live 40 minutes from her location and I'm a total Karen about my dog I'm so picky and the dog groomers normally gives me anxiety. But I have none of it when I'm dropping my dog off with Ellie. The drive is 100% worth it. Highly highly recommend someone like her that actually cares about your dog and what you like. read more

This is the best place for your pet needs, Ellie is so kind and she treats each animal with the love and care they deserve!! Love Ellie!!

We tried Ellie's Grooming today and I have to say that we will be repeat customers for sure. We didn't get to chat much about what kind of cut I wanted b/c Ellie was with a client but despite that our dog came out looking exactly the way I wanted, she now has a great cut for summer. I would recommend her services. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews, but my dog will never be coming here again. I was new to the area and thought this would be a good groomer since it is close to my home. He was nervous to go in and I should have left with him. I returned and he was muzzled!!! He was petrified and was trying to take it off (rightfully). My dog has never bitten anyone or even showed teeth in his entire lifetime. The second I took the muzzle off myself he cowered into me. I left with a wet dog and was still charged full price and thrown coupons because they knew I was upset with what I saw. Every groomer or vet I have ever taken him to says he is a love bug. They had no patience or care with him in the least. I have never been so upset with what I saw in my whole life. read more

FIVE WORDS - 'Thank Goodness for this Company!' Here is Why: It's rare these days to find a business in which the people are truly so kind, helpful, willing to go that extra length, and while making it appear easy/not stressful, it's an absolutely perfect job and done with such care and regard for a person's 'beloved buddy/pet!' In our case, suffice it to say we had an emergency that called for 'special' circumstances and with added bad weather conditions, Ellie & her daughter, Alyssa ( My personal Angel, as well as my dog's new Best Friend!) moved heaven & earth to help us, when they didn't know us from Adam! This duo exemplifies the qualities necessary for this specialized type of care for the pet ( Bailey, the 120-lb Lab in our case) and Alyssa's natural way with my puppy, who desperately needed a specific service ASAP, was evident from the moment she arrived! Myself and my family will share their information with Everyone we know, and THEN SOME! My mom, a former RN, says It takes special individuals to work with Kids, the elderly AND Pets! Ellie & Alyssa have already demonstrated this in the short time we've known them & Bailey cannot wait for her Full Grooming for the Holidays! To say we recommend Them both is the greatest understatement of 2019! I say, bring your pet for a HOLIDAY MAKEOVER or a New Look in the New Year !! They are worth it, BOTH as professionals and as extraordinarily kind and giving individuals! read more

I recently took my Mini Schnauzer Hanah here for the first time. She is a little afraid of new people so I was a little worried. They assured me she would be fine. When I picked her up she was happy like nothing happened. They did a fantastic job. She looked and smelled great! We are definitely a regular customer from now on. I couldn't be happier. read more

I brought my Great Pyrenees, Kai, for the very first time yesterday and I was beyond pleased by all Ellie and her crew has done. Kai dislikes baths and doing it on our own was a very difficult challenge with all the fur he has. In addition, Kai is a very timid dog around others so we were definitely a little afraid of leaving him alone as well at first. However, Ellie did not disappoint. When we picked up Kai, he was waiting patiently while the other dogs were being groomed and when we finally united, I was at a loss of words! He looked so clean and manicured. I am beyond ecstatic with the results and will definitely be coming back! read more

Brought Boomer back for a second grooming, and we were just as happy as our first time there. We are going to be long time customers for sure. I'm very picky about how people handle my dogs, so having these guys as my go to groomers is perfect! read more
