Details by Lisa was recommended to us by our breeder as they drive 20 minutes just to get to her. We live close by and couldn't be happier. Our dog, who is normally a nervous nelly, is always calm when she goes to get groomed. Super happy to have found this place!

BEWARE OF THIS GROOMER: The wife and I just took our little one to Lisa and after picking him up we noticed there was a deep cut by his ear. We were never made aware of this or any other issues, therefore came back to follow up with her. Lisa immediately responded with "oh yea I saw that" when I came back to question her and she proceeded to call her assistant over. When the assistant finally came over and was asked about the cut he said he knew about it and already put medication on it. He stated it was a "scab" that came off when they were cleaning his ears which didn't make sense considering my dog never had scabs. After giving them the benefit of the doubt they reassured me it was nothing. Considering it was a deep cut we ended up in the Animal Hospital... 2 staples and 300+ dollars later on top of the 90 we paid Lisa. The vets ended up telling us that it was a laceration from the clippers that made that cut and they found more cuts by his legs. Shoddy and rushed job that caused our little one pain. Didn't have the decency to even tell us about his cut. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Still waiting to hear back from Lisa...

Highly Recommend Details by Lisa for all dog grooming needs! I used to bring my 12 year old Llhasa Apso/Shitzu mix to Petco, but after our last experience of him being stuck in a cage for 3+ hours, I will never go back. I reached out to several groomers through Yelp and Lisa was the most accommodating when I was looking for appointments. When I brought my pup in he was a little scared at first but Lisa was very sweet and calm with my little man. The entire appointment took under an hour and he was never stuck in a cage, I've never seen him so calm and happy after a grooming appointment! Love the open setup in the shop:) Thank you so much Lisa for the outstanding experience! We will be back for all future grooming needs! Also, my fiancé LOVED the Spider-Man Bandana

Stanley a day after grooming. Slightly upset as he was trying to get to take a nap.

Lisa has been grooming our pup Stanley for several years now. She does an amazing job! He always look fluffy and is trimmed perfectly. I can't recommend her highly enough! She's also a really cool and great to work with owner. Super attentive and communicative. She is the only groomer we go to.

Took my one-year-old Havanese to get a much needed haircut. He was matted and tends to have anxiety when getting groomed. Lisa was incredible and this is the best looking haircut my dog has received, plus she made the experience painless for him. Happy to have a new groomer in the area who understands and accommodates anxious pups!

Teddie strutting his new clean fresh look on Main St. leaving Details by Lisa.

So happy to have found Details by Lisa for my sweet Havapoo Teddie. They did an excellent job giving him a nice haircut and he smells amazing! I love how you walk in and everything is visible and the dogs are free to walk around. I have been skeptical in the past with another local groomer in town as it seems there grooming operation is top secret which leads me to believe they may not be the most hygienic. Details by Lisa was extremely clean Teddie left with a Avengers bandana which was a nice added touch! We will definitely be back every month for his regular grooming! Thank you + welcome to town!

I just moved back home and was in desperate need for dog grooming services for my 2 pups. All the groomers I used in the past in JC/Hobo were all booked and would be able to fit me earliest in 2 months. I started researching for pet groomers in the area through yelp and details by lisa was one of the first to respond and get me an appointment that same week. They were fast (finished both dogs in 2 hours) and took care to follow my instructions for how I wanted the dogs cut. They took great care of my two dogs (11 yo yorkie / 3 yo spitz mix rescue). They also have open separated areas where they keep the dogs so they are not locked up in a cage. I would 100% recommend if you are looking for a groomer!

Highly recommend Details by Lisa! She did such a great job with my two pups. We love their haircuts! Especially on the doodle who is usually shaved down by most groomers. Lisa gave him a great haircut and was able to keep his length! They look beautiful.

My 18 year old rough and tumble girl looking fine!

Lisa's place is terrific. Those dogs all looked like they were having a beautiful day at the parlour! My Jazz had a terrific time and came out looking like a million bucks. I am so glad to have found Lisa and her team at Details by Lisa. Such a great studio.

My pup looks the best she's ever been. Details by Lisa has the cutest pet grooming shop. I felt very welcomed. Most importantly my dog Jazzy looks absolutely beautiful! I was impressed with how quick and efficient she was. I'm looking forward to bringing her back!

This is the happiest I've been with a grooming in a long time. This was our first time using Design by Lisa and our golden doodle came out exactly the way I love. You can see that a lot of care is given and that Lisa takes pride in her work.

Lisa was patient and gentle with our fearful Border Collie. Took it slow, trimmed her up and kept me in the loop. I highly recommend her and will be returning!

Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a groomer.

First time and one of the better cuts our cockapoo Brandi ever had. Very nice cut, ears relatively clean and nails trimmed. Yes, it's the first and we experienced a great "first cut" and then not so good. That's why we have no issue looking for a good consistent groomer. We will go back to Details by Lisa and if consistent, continue and update our experience. Again, we will post on subsequent cuts. read more

Lisa is the BEST!!! I first want to start by saying that I used to take my dog (mini golden doodle) to a groomer that would take several dogs at a time. He would be there all day and would come out very anxious. When I heard about Lisa's place, I learned that she only takes 1 or 2 dogs at a time so it's quicker and more efficient. Not to mention, she does such a great job. My dog is so much happier going there and so am I! read more

Lisa did an amazing job fixing what another groomer started! We made the mistake of having a mobile groomer come to our home to groom our Maltese Brody. He has had multiple shoulder surgeries and can be a handful grooming and cutting his nails. She called me 20 minutes into the cut and said I cannot do anything more with him. He's just to much to handle. Brody looked horrible!! I called Lisa and she said come in tomorrow morning. Lisa has groomed Brody in the past, at another location. I was being lazy wanting someone to come to the house. Big Mistake! Lisa has such a calm energy. Brody was so relaxed. She was holding him while we chatted, at the same time cutting his nails. I was amazed. When I picked him up after she performed a miracle. Brody looked so much better! My wife and I couldn't believe how good he looked! Thank you lisa! See you in 6 weeks! read more

Lisa and her staff are professional, courteous and wonderful with our dogs. We found Lisa after we were turned away from a "professional" groomer who couldn't handle our 35 lb mini goldendoodle (who was terrified). She was patient with our nervous dog-sometimes spending extra hours with him to ensure that the process was comfortable for him AND that we got a dog that was beautifully groomed. Her prices are reasonable, and the quality of the grooming is consistently wonderful. Both our dogs now go to Lisa for their grooming and pull to get inside the front door--happy dogs being dropped off and happy dogs being picked up! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality groomer with the professionalism to match! read more

Sadly, after having a wonderful experience with Lisa, the 2nd visit left me extremely upset. We were greeted abruptly by a man who grilled me about how my dog's hair has been cared for since the last visit. He did so with an unwelcoming accusatory attitude and tone and made me feel like I was annoying him by coming. I left my dog there feeling stressed and worried. I texted Lisa several times explaining this and almost felt like she wasn't the same cordial, caring groomer. Will not go back. This man has no business greeting customers as he's got zero personality and customer sensibility. read more

I am current client of Details by Lisa. I have Goldendoodle and Whoodle who see Lisa for grooming every 1-2 months. Last night, my pups got into some brush where they got covered in burrs. I called Lisa in a panic due to their discomfort and she came in early on a Saturday morning and worked on both dogs for three hours. Lisa is a fabulous human being and groomer. Dear Management,…read more Thank you for responding to my complaint, although I must express my disappointment that it took several weeks to receive a response. Such a delay is neither acceptable nor reflective of the level of professionalism I would have expected. To begin, if you intend to rely on surveillance footage as part of your response, please ensure that you are reviewing the footage from the correct date. I take accusations that question my honesty or integrity very seriously, and I was disappointed to read statements in your response that appeared to suggest my concerns were unfounded. Making such assertions without clear evidence is inappropriate and could be viewed as damaging to my character. My husband and I contacted your organization as soon as we noticed the bald spots on Ace. When we picked him up after his grooming appointment, his coat had been fluffed and styled, making it difficult to immediately notice the affected areas. Once we discovered them, we reached out simply to understand what had happened. We were not seeking a refund or discount--we were looking for an honest explanation and accountability. My review was never intended to harm your business or its employees. It was an honest account of my personal experience and was written to make your organization aware of our concerns while also allowing potential customers to make informed decisions. Every customer has the right to share a truthful experience, whether positive or negative. I respectfully request that you provide me with a copy of the surveillance footage you referenced, as I remain confident that Ace's condition was the direct result of the grooming service he received. For your reference, I have attached photographs clearly showing the bald spots that appeared after his appointment. What has been most disappointing throughout this experience is not only the condition in which my puppy was returned, but also the lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism demonstrated in your response. As pet owners, we place an enormous amount of trust in those we choose to care for our beloved companions. That trust was broken, and your response has only reinforced our disappointment. I sincerely hope that you will reconsider how customer concerns are handled in the future. A willingness to listen, communicate honestly, and accept responsibility when appropriate goes much further than dismissing a customer's experience. Sincerely, Karina K.

I'm updating my review after two years since getting my Cavapoo puppy, Ellie:…read more Bubbles & Bath is fabulous. They do a wonderful job and the price is reasonable. However, after a few interactions with a certain employee at this groomer's, I have to leave a complaint. I believe this employee was hired around summer time when I first brought my dog in for a haircut. They have a round face and curly black hair. Initially, I figured they were in training so I didn't say anything about the person not being knowledgeable when I asked certain questions. However, I recently went to have my dog groomed for the second time and this person was very rude to me over the phone and in person. I called the groomer's to check in on Ellie during her service which was from 9:30-12:30. I was told I'd receive a call about 12:15 or so. I didn't so I called them myself. This person picked up the phone and I asked if they could give me a rough estimate of when my dog would be finished. She said, "We can't give you an estimate. She just got on the table." I was polite and said, "Ok, no worries. Thank you" Click. She hung up without saying anything else. Prior to coming, I asked her about anal gland expression to which she said, "It's when we express their anal glands". I said, "Yes, I understand that but can you please tell me more" the other woman who was older in purple and had more experience had to step in and explain to me. This woman has always been very friendly. This afternoon, I brought in the tip for the services provided yesterday since I forgot to give it to the groomer yesterday. Upon walking in, I said, "Hi, I'm so sorry but I forgot to tip yesterday. I wanted to make sure you got your money!" The girl with curly hair said, "Ok" and turned her back on me. The older woman in the back mouthed "Thank you!" which I appreciated. I'm not one to leave a bad review for a wonderful business but I was offended by this employee's demeanor. Not friendly whatsoever. Very off putting. I am considering going elsewhere, but B & B really is an amazing spot.

Cupcake loves being groomed but did not like being in a cage or being blow dried and Bonnie, the owner of Canine Designs, made sure to give Cupcake the extra love and attention he needs. Fast forward five years later and Cupcake has a girlfriend. Her name is Waffles. And she is a pure bred shih tzu. She is full of energy and very lovable. She has completely different fur than cupcake. Cupcake has hair where Waffles definitely has more of a fur. Waffles loves going there as much as Cupcake does. They get to see other dogs. Get pampered by Bonnie and the ladies. Then one day we took Waffles to get fixed and oops, too late she was pregnant. Waffles delivered five beautiful Malshi puppies! Four boys and one girl. And my entire life changed. Nothing gave me so much pleasure than to come home and have all these little faces looking up at me. I showed up at Bonnies with my two dogs and the whole puppy family for their first baths. Bonnie and her ladies Andrea and the rest of the gang were in love! They were so gentle with Waffles Babies. Washing each one. Fluffing them up. And getting ready for their new forever homes. She was VERY REASONABLE in price when I needed it the most! Seven dog grooming could leave anyone broke! I kept two puppies. Big Fluff and Groucho. I couldn't decide which one to keep and kept two. I spend a huge portion of my life being a mother to four dogs and living up to the expectation that brings. Big fluff and Groucho are Malshi and they have the best traits of their parents with a mix of fur type. Again Bonnie works with me because she knows it's expensive for Four dogs to get groomed. Bonnie, Andrea, and the rest of the ladies at Canine Designs are my extended family for my dogs. They know Groucho has sensitive ears that have to get cleaned often and cupcake has skin allergies and they live my dogs like I love them. You would be insane not To use their services for your pets.

Let me start off by saying that I never thought I'd be posting this review. We've praised this…read moreplace for YEARS, recommending it to every single one of our friends. We've been customers since 2019, bringing our golden retriever and our Samoyed to get groomed every two months. We would even drive 40 minutes each way to drop them off every time because we loved this place. Not even the $350 price tag at every appt kept us from coming back. I'm pregnant and had a very important scan at the hospital today. Given that we have two large dogs, it's usually very hard to get an appointment. Last week I scheduled an appointment for today and explained that we would be dropping off the dogs on the way to my appointment which was at 12:30. They confirmed that was fine and not an issue at all. We arrived at 11:45 and were told that we were too late to our appointment and they could not accommodate us with an insanely rude attitude. I explained the situation and what I had originally been told on the phone, to which they responded with "it wasn't me you spoke to." I explained that we've been loyal customers for 7 years, and that we always get a call if we're more than 5 minutes late. We didn't get one today. They told me "they never call" lol. I kept explaining about our unique circumstances and if there was anything they could do to help, to which they replied "no." We ended up having to drive 45 minutes back home to drop off our dogs, and beg the hospital to squeeze me in 45 minutes late to my appointment. The amount of anxiety they caused me was just unnecessary. But that's not even what bothered me the most. It was the utter lack of empathy, and understanding we were shown despite being loyal customers for over 7 years. No apology for their miscommunication, just the absolute worst attitude I've received as a customer in a while. TLDR; if you have big dogs, go somewhere else. Theres a reason their instagram only shows small dogs, they really don't have the capacity to handle big dogs with any margin of error, even if the error is their own. Time to find a new place.
