Owning a solo business is not easy ESPECIALLY when dealing with pet-parents...I speak as one...BUT…read moreTracy is doing her best and is doing a great job. Our dog was attacked by another dog a few years ago & that trauma left him very uneasy around other dogs...he loves people...so we have to find the right person to care for his grooming needs. Cookies Paws was the 3rd one we tried after moving to Morris County in July 2021. Today was no different than the last time...she confirmed & was here on time. Manny had no problem jumping into her grooming truck and walked out happy & excited. Manny looks great, smells great, & feels great I highly recommend her! PS she may not answer right away but work with her...she's a solo MOBILE business owner. And FYI her personality is soft & gentle which I prefer for my dog because pets feel our energy & react accordingly. SIDE NOTE: Be considerate & kind to hard working businesses especially a mobile business that travels from client to client like Cookies Paws.

Don't ever use this dog groomer, Tracy…read more My dog died shortly after her grooming. She was very uncaring for a dog that had some health issues that she was aware of and was not at all patient with him and he had a stroke and a heart attack within an hour after her grooming. In addition.. she gave him a terrible haircut prior to his death which was his last experience before suffocating and passing away. She got very loud with me after calling me while she was still on my driveway to find out if I like The grooming job. Don't know why she called me obviously she felt something was wrong or knew the dog was having a problem from her mishandling him. Unfortunately I picked up the phone thinking that maybe I overpaid her for underpaid her and I didn't even have a chance to look at my dog yet as my husband brought him in. I told Tracy to give me a minute to look him over and it was a terrible haircut! She cut away too much in the wrong areas. If she didn't call me out of guilt I don't really know why she called and unfortunately I brought him back out to her as she was still on my driveway to fix something in a professional manner. I wish I would have just let it be the way it was as it is only hair and it grows back and he might still be alive as he was fine that day until that point in time. She was yelling at me and making him very nervous and pointing scissors near his eyes and pulling the fur on his face while she was talking to me about what she did and didn't do. She made my dog very upset and nervous and caused the heart attack and or stroke but he died on our way to the vet. He was the love of my life and she had a very uncaring attitude all she said was,"it must have been his time". Well maybe somebody will say that to her when her children pass away or something terrible happens to her I guess it's their time! Do not use this groomer! We are trying to make people aware that she is very harmful and should not be a dog groomer as she has no love for dogs and very bad client skills. We hope she goes out of business.

While there are a lot of options out there for groomers, bot my dogs and my family prefer Bark Ave…read more Not only are they the most local option, but our pups are a bit particular, and are always super excited to see the staff. Dogs are always treated with care and respect, price has NEVER been misquoted. More than happy to continue bringing my dogs.

I just saw the review about what they did to someone's cat and I wish I had seen this earlier…read more They did the same thing to my frenchie injured her skin and then offered to pay for the vet. How about not injuring anyone's pets in the first place? I did bring her to vet and they agreed that they scrubbed a sensitive area too hard. I didn't bring her the bill because, she seemed like a nice lady and I truly thought it was a mistake. She offered a free groom that I said no to and said I will pay but she refused the money, I had my son stay in the store with my dog. Then came her rudeness out of the blue! She sent me texts galore, saying how she might need special shampoo, pictures of someone else's dog? So confused. What she doesn't remember is that 14 years ago she groomed my cocker spaniel, Maggie. She did a good job ( I did always have to touch up her cut but it never really bothered me) and was always nice but then again Maggie Mae was older and so forgiving and sweet. I never saw any injury but she had long hair. Now, fast forward I have this beautiful and sweet frenchie who is also forgiving and sweet but she's still so young. To see a wound on her just broke my heart. If anyone is interested in seeing the rude texts please contact me. Please don't put your baby at risk . It's just not worth it. You never know and it only takes one time and now I have leaned a valuable lesson, unfortunately. Please be careful here and don't just drop off your dog and trust. Contact me for details. I have them all in writing. Ohh and don't miss an appointment because, say you may have broken your ankle like I did, because her response was that she will no longer take a cancellation for a health reason! Cherry on top of the cake. Btw, this cancellation was before she hurt my dog. Please just beware. Again, please contact me if you're considering going here.

Never again. I've owned many dogs. Poodles, Maltese, mixed shedding breeds and never ever did I…read morehave a dog come home bloody and also without any concern from the groomer or staff. When I asked to speak w the groomer she would t come out. When I called they told me it was normal and it happens. At the desk I said oh gosh what happened and she said oh idk that happens if they wiggle. My dog is never a problem at the vet or the groomer. I had to go straight to the vet from the groomer. He had to go on antibiotics and have wound care. I called asking them to cover the bill of about 200 and they refused to speak with me or work with me. After that I decided never again and I told and showed the community what they did. This was a while ago but as I was searching for a groomer today I came upon this one and decided it deserved a review. This is to protect all the voiceless pups out there and to alert owners that if you love your dog don't go here. Hurting a dog accidentally and owning it and apologizing is one thing. Being nasty and difficult and saying this is normal is not ok. A simple apology and pleasant attitude fits a long way.

This place use to be REALLY good. My dog didn't mind going here. My last few appointments I would…read moredrop my dog off then get a call HOURS later that the groomer (the owner) called out . I knew I was never going back when the staff was also bad mouthing the groomer. Apparently this happens a lot there. I recommended a friend to this place and her dog was shaved down to the skin. The owner responded "shit happens" . No, sorry. If you love your dog do not go here. You've been warned.
