This PetSmart could really use some help with customer service in their grooming salon. This is the worst place that I have taken my dogs based on the following: -The check-in process took a long time -The staff working in the salon (other than one person) were unfriendly and were busy talking about alcoholic drinks versus engaging with customers. -It is the first time I heard my dog barking in the back of the salon - this has never happened before at any other salon. -My dog has red marks on his stomach that weren't there before. I can't tell if it is a reaction to the products used or if he was scratched? This is the first time he has ever had any redness in that area and he's 10 years old. The front desk at the PetSmart has been great; however, their grooming salon needs dire help to improve their customer service skills and create a professional experience. read more

We took our German Shep to be groomed 11/26/18 ..I made the appt approx a week in advance ..service has been so bad there for awhile..after my dog suffered severe razor burn under all 4 arm pits over a yr ago the salon mgr NICOLE convinced me she will treat our senior girl with care.. BIG mistake on my part ..when i made appt i sched it with Nicole speaking directly with her.. I explained since she last saw Abby she has a cyst the sz of small plum in hind rear inner thigh.. and to be very careful not to cut it.. Upon drop off i sent written instructions of Do's & Dont's for Nicole which in writing I again reminded her of the cyst.. My husband dropped Our dog and he too verbally reminded her.. So our Abby was there from 9am to 2pm Asap upon entering Salon to pick up our GSD I picked up on odd behavior from NICOLE who seemed like she could not get us out of there fast enough.. I thought it was very odd and attributed it to her maybe having rough day..so we pay and take Our GSD home She immediately drank like she had been in a desert which was alarming ..then she vomited , had heavy panting off and on and very listless..the Next morning she could barely walk ..I could see it was in the hind quarters.. so i called Banfield Vet next door to salon at 9 am .. they were not able to see us till 3 pm that day Nov27th .. i explained all this to the vet and asked her to check cyst area As my dog would not let me look.. well the vet & tech were able to look and it was confirmed the cyst was cut and was oozing and bleeding(now i know why Nicole acted so weird at pickup.. she knew she cut our dog and chose to keep silent) my husband had spoken to either the store mgr or asst mgr that morning and was told Petsmart would pay the vet bill if we could prove it was salon related.. the vet took care of this by going next door to notify NICOLE the groomer & salon mgr she indeed cut our dog's cyst! Do you think NICOLE came to exam room to apologize or call with apology ?!? NO she DID NOT .. !!! Nobody from Petsmart mgment reached out to us!! I called their headquarters Wed Nov 28 early in the am and shared my story with a woman who issued me a case number.. She told me to expect the District Mgr to call me within 72hrs.. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED.. not a PEEP from anyone other than Vet who called to check on our girl!! We will no longer use this LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS CHOP SHOP .. The employees are less than professional .. most have multiple piercings pink and purple hair with tons of tattoos ( yes i know these things should not be judged) however when there is zero professionalism one has to question who works with our pets..while waiting for our dog to be brought out there was s small dog on groom table in severe distress & crying ( howling) it took everything i had as that precious dog looked at me as-if to say " help me"not to rip that gate open to save this little dog .. The groomer didn't even try to console the dog or provide assurance it was ok.. I am certain the dogs owner would have freaked to see what we did!! It's really frustrating because my grooming appointment was canceled five minutes before the appointment and I was already in your store but it was due to the heat which I totally understand like there's no air-conditioning in there why would they want the dogs in there but the lady on the phone told me that if I called back they will squeeze me into an earlier time due to my appointment being canceled well I called you guys and you told me the soon as possible was August 7 when I was told you guys would be able to squeeze me and I have a small puppy he's 5 pounds he's not a big dog he wouldn't take very long to cut his hair and if she's fresh on you guys tell me one thing and then you guys can't accommodate that yet on your website it says call our store and we can accommodate you don't put that out there if you guys are not going to actually do it. I love going to Derby she's the best but it's just very stressed trading when your guises front desk staff are not accommodating to what you guys are telling your customers because I love coming to Petsmart I come to Petsmart for multiple animals and if this just keeps happening I'm gonna go to Petco because they can accommodate me. read more

***beware***: MY DOG IS DEAF NOW!!! First off I cannot blame every groomer there but all it takes is the one time of negligence from someone inexperienced or having a bad day and your fur kid could be deaf like mine now. Here's the story: My dog just got done with the vets beginning of last month *August 2016* and checked out perfectly fine, no hearing issue or infections. My favorite moments with him is like most people, the play time, I would play with a squeaky ball and his ears would perk up and he'd go crazy. We'd wrestle around, play hide and seek and fetch which we were doing everyday til his departure to his full service grooming. After we picked him up from *Pet Smart Renton Landing* he's acting a little different and we think it's probably from stress of the full service he was given. Later in the evening I started our everyday routine of bonding with squeaky toys and he's not even looking my way. I tried saying certain phrases that make him go crazy, like most pet owners have with their dogs and nothing, no ears perking up or even glances my way. I'm very concerned at this point and think maybe water/soap got in his ears or what ever they used to clean and dry him might have temporary deafened him because I have no idea what they do especially behind those closed doors. This is where they can secretly mishandle your dog and you'd have no idea "why this would be designed this way I have no clue, but you can only watch the hair cut process". Many days have now passed and his hearing is still gone and he no longer runs to the front door to greet me or other family, we no longer have our favorite play time with squeaky toys and all the little joys of phrases like "let's go for a drive, who's home, where's the ball, etc." are all but now a memory after one trip to the groomers at *Pet Smart Renton Landing*. This is your warning: We've gone there for over 4 years never an issue until now. If you have a specific person to handle your dog there than make sure to keep it only them. This experience was like Russian Roulette and a shot to my dogs hearing and now my dog will never be the same. It's your choice if you want to put your dog at risk and not believe the other bad grooming reviews that date back years on Yelp's *Pet Smart Renton Landing* and risk it till something bad happens to your dog like mine then it'll be too late. My advice and solution: to *Pet Smart* open up the wash room with viewing windows, put cameras in there so pet owners can be reassured their animals are being treated well and the bad employees can be held accountable because not all of the groomers are bad there but all it takes is one of them to to mess up your pets life for good and give your store a seriously bad reputation as animal abusers. My rant: I work for a legal firm so if you've had similar issues with your dog being deaf after service with vet records please let me know. I will have him re-examined with the same vet to see his finding if in fact it was the employee "who we have their card and name" that I am accusing of physically damaging my dog and will update once we prove it and then seek the proper justice to the person who hurt my dog who is like family to me. In closing, I cannot say all the groomers there are bad, Pet Smart should have cameras or open viewing windows to the whole full service grooming process so their are no questions asked what happened and their would be a way to hold accountability and these reviews would go away "similar to babysitter and caretakers getting busted these days for abuse with hidden cameras that you would never guess". Get this done *Pet Smart* and weed out the bad apples who don't belong having a harmless living creature in their care. Your good employees who love animals will thrive and restore faith to the people of Renton who's left you bad reviews but want to support your business and keep your doors open and locals employed. I want to go back but after this I have zero faith in your place and am saddened everyday and reminded by my dogs zero reaction to my voice and when I come home from work now. You've been warned: Do yourself a favor don't go here for a full service groom unless you get a recommendation to a specific groomer there who can be vouched for and only go to that specific person. If you've had bad service or witnessed abuse, report to management "if nothing happens then use this and other social medium like Facebook to warn family & friends" which will show the managements level of uncare for animal safety. Put the employee on blast and on social media so all the locals can keep their pet safe "with solid proof like a pic or vid" which I'll do once I get the vets finding. I've never written a bad review on Yelp but when I bring my dog back from your place and he's now deaf I cannot sit back and let another unaware pet owners risk experiencing my pain and heartbreak and let them hurt another harmless animal that depends on us. read more

I've been bringing my Shih Tzu here for 2 years now and Aliona is the best! Rhodey always looks and feels absolutely amazing after she's done. After bringing him home Christmas 2016, I took Rhodey here for his very first grooming appointment before he was old enough to get a full cut, and Aliona did a great job just trimming the hair around his eyes and cleaning him up a bit. But I didn't bring him back for his full cut because I read bad reviews. Instead I tried all sorts of more expensive places further away. I was never quite satisfied so I decided to bring him back to the person who had given him his first cut and I've been satisfied ever since. I've been meaning to post my own review. I can only speak for Aliona because I won't take him to anyone else. But she is fabulous! read more

This is a "first" for my Yelp experience. I am giving the Grooming Department here at this lcoation 0 out of 5 stars. First, they are staffed by employees that seem not concerned about customer service. I took my dog there to have the full treatment done; $55. Nothing is too good for my dog, so that's fine. We normally go to our groomer in Wallingford area (yes, my wife drives him all the way to Wallingford from Renton to get his grooming done; that place is that good and Yelp review will follow), but due to the snow, we had him groomed at Petsmart at the Landing in Renton. I don't know the rigors of dog grooming and I 'm sure it can be quite difficult. Our regular groomer has always been happy with our dog and when we come to pick him up, he is always happy and looks perfect, medium length hair in the right spots and short hair where it needs to be short. We were wary of going to Petsmart but with the weather and Christmas approaching, we had to get it done that day. My first warning should have been when we came in the person on the phone was addressing the complaints of a previous customer. We were desparate and in a hurry, so Petsmart it was. They asked what we wanted, gave us a price and said we should come back in about 2 hours. No probem thus far. We went out for lunch, got the call in 60 minutes and headed back. We get there and the Manager greets us and explains that our dog bit four of their staff. Now, I'm a reasonable guy and I like to hear what people say before I doubt them. She mentioned that he had knots and when they were trying to get the knots out, he would bite them. She proceeded to show me two spots that were red where she said our dog bit her. She further told me she was doing us a favor by not reporting him to the Dog plice or whatever she called it. She said that their policy is that when a dog bites their employees that dog gets reported. I explained to her that our dog has never, ever bitten a person and he will put his teeth on you, but never exerts noticeable force. Also, I mentioned that our regular groomer has never experienced these issues at all. The Manager's reply is that perhaps your regular groomer doesn't want you to know the truth about your dog, so they would probably never tell you anyway. I'm sure our regular groomer would tell us if our dog was violent in any way. Fine, whatever you say, I don't care, just give me my dog. They bring him out and he is visibly shaking and very scared. There's no telling what abuse they could have inflicted on him. He immediately reaches out for the comforting arms of my wife and he's better now. Then I look at his "grooming". His head is only half trimmed because he was getting so bitey they could not proceed with finishing the job. The hair on his body was cut way too short and they basically just shave off the hair on his legs. So, instead of making him look clean and groomed, what I got back was a body with short hair and his legs had hair that was even shorter and made him look disproportionate. I had given them specific instructions on how I wanted him groomed and they basicaly ignored me. The areas where he should be trimmed short (the genitals and his tail) were still long and everything else was way too short. I promise, vow, swear, etc. that I will never, ever take my dog to Petsmart and that I will always tell people how much I do NOT recommend that grooming department. From the poor customer service to them being able to illicit my dog to bite them on multiple occasions to ignoring my instructions on grooming his hair and returning a dog to me that was visibly traumatized, they have earned 0 stars. I believe this is my first. I will say that this is the Pet store of choice for us b/c of the lcoation and the customer service in the front/retail portion is fantastic. Helpful people and the store is always clean and well-stocked. This is only a 0 star effort by the grooming department. Update: Apparently, Yelp doesn't allow me to list 0 stars on the logo, so they will show one star, but my true rating for them is ZERO! read more

A PetSmart like any other PetSmart. Nice and bright and clean. They are one of the few places that still carry royal canin dog food. Sales make things decently priced. Customer service is a little slow, but very pleasant. I don't particularly like having to say no to their charity and rewards card requests. Why is this a thing everywhere now? I like this store a lot. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. Just yesterday I had a great conversation with one young lady who helped me to strategize about kind ways to keep my puppy from pulling when we go for walk. We have smaller pet stores closer to home, and they are fine for treats and such, but the puppy food brand that we buy for our golden is almost twice the price at the smaller store, so it is much more cost-effective to shop here. Same thing with the cat food, although I'm embarrassed to admit that our cats, whom we rescued as strays, will only eat the lower-end brands of cat food that you can buy anywhere! Anyway, Petsmart is a fine choice for all pet products, and it doesn't hurt that it is right next to Target! read more

I have a 4 year old half shih tzu/ Maltese girl. It was my first time bringing her to Petsmart grooming because it was the only one available for that week before my mom comes home. I dropped her off at 7 am and they called me around 8 to have me pick her up (I thought it was really fast). Her grooming turned up well. HOWEVER, when she come home she started to act differently, couple days later my mom noticed she squealed everytime she would pick her up. Her arm seemed to be hurt. I thought it was nothing until I tried and pick her up she squealed again. I am prettysure it was from her groomer. I didn't get her name, she was a big gal with glasses and curly hair. I'll be taking her to the vet tmr. I am so pissed, like that's my baby.. NEVER going here again. Y'all suck booty. And I tipped her ass $20. read more

I've shopped at this store simply because it's located close to many other stores I frequent. I'm trusting the negative reviews from the people that have actually used the grooming services as the smell of urine, feces and something unidentifiable in the grooming area deterred me from ever bringing my dogs here. A HEADS-UP TO ANY EMPLOYEE THAT HITS, KICKS, YELLS AT OR IN ANY OTHER WAY MISTREATS AN ANIMAL...THIS IS ABUSE. IT IS ILLEGAL. To customers, other employees and anyone that has witnessed this behavior....THIS IS ABUSE. IT IS ILLEGAL. File a report with your local police. Any item of dog clothing I've ever purchased has been horribly over priced and has (without exception) fallen apart after the first washing if not before. Target, Marshall's and Ross (all located near by) carry dog clothing; much better quality at a much lower price. Potty pads...how is it even possible to make a really crappy quality potty pad? Not sure but these guys carry them; again horribly overpriced at almost $40 for 100 pads. Walgreens carries potty pads; much better quality. 50 pad package is $10 or 100 pad package is $20. Customer service is minimal at best. They never have enough cashiers but there always seems to be a group of at least 3 employees hovering just inside the door; usually laughing, chatting and generally doing anything but putting forth any effort. Finally; I'm sure this is part of the corporate training, stop having employees ask a series of stupid questions as customers are trying to check out at the already slow registers!!! A simple "How are you today?" or "Did you find everything you were looking for?" makes so much more sense than "Oh, do you have a dog?" when I'm purchasing dog clothing, a dog collar and dog treats. The fact that I'm holding 1 dog and have a second dog on a leash apparently wasn't helpful in answering this particular question. No surprise there. read more

A young blonde girl that work at fish section was so rude, I come to this location often but each I visit I had was always not the best, she looked at customers funny, not offering some help like she suppose too. My kids wanted a hamster so we spent some time here looking over the critters. We finally asked for help and the gal was super nice. Explained things we would need, recommended some items. Their rewards program is free and you only need a phone #(no card to carry!). Of course we were back for other items the next day. And when we opted to get a bigger cage, I was able to return the one we first bought. The same gal said they do have to trash them, so she told me to keep the water bottle from the first cage. Overall we have been happy with the staff and products available here. Prices compare well to other stores and online. The hamster is doing well in his large cage, enjoying his wheel most of the time. read more

It took over two weeks to get a grooming appt. I walked in to be told 'oh a girl quit and changed your appt and didn't call, I'm so sorry! This appt was scheduled before I was leaving town for 10 days. They offered to reschedule over a week later. If I wasn't at my appt why not call? This wasn't my first time there but this was my last and I will not shop there again. Absolutely horrible customer service in the grooming department and a big disappointment. wanted to update what has happened since the groomer at Pet Smart at the Landing smacked down my Service Dog. They hit her in the head so hard that her ear was swollen, bright red and she winced when I lifted it to take pictures. Since that attack on her I can no longer find a groomer that doesn't call me to get Freckles out of the kennel; she's to afraid to come out. She went from a happy dog to get groomed to a fearful dangerous dog (a scared dog is or can be a dangerous dog). So we took classes on how to groom dogs properly and we now groom her ourselves. I am disabled and my youth is gone so you can imagine how difficult this is for me to accomplish. We manage....however it would have never had to be if Pet Smart employees could learn to keep their hands to themselves. PLEASE READ REVIEWS DIRECTED TO GROOMING BEFORE TAKING YOUR PET HERE. I WISH I DID. I brought my golden doodle puppy here twice for a full body groom, and now, not returning. She is usually very people-friendly, sweet and patient - this was pointed out by the groomer as well. So there is no reason that my pup took about 6 hours to be done! Our appointment started at 10:30 and we didn't get the call to pick her up until 4:30. We asked her to be shaved, with her tail and ears kept a bit longer then have a bath. The cut was okay, but very patchy on her chest and around her arm pits. I could have achieved that look myself. Drying a shaved dog/short haired dog with a blowdryer does not take more than 2 hours. She's 8 months old and now terrified of even entering the grooming room. Due to her reaction we will not be bringing her back to the Renton PetSmart for a groom. Since she is a poodle mix, she will need many haircuts in the future. We do not want her to feel traumatized every time. read more

I visit this place once a week for cat food and treats. Always get the same brands. There always seems to be a sale going on. I love it. Also I always have to go and visit the cat adoption area. Just going in and giving them some lovin seems to make the kitties so happy. I would adopt, but I already have two kitties and a Yorkie and to my cats three's a crowd as it is. But anyway this store is always clean and well stocked. And the lines go so quick. read more

I'm giving this location 2 stars as it is good and bad. My mini schnauzer's first time there was wonderful both me and my puppy loved it but unfortunately didn't ask for the groomer's name. The second time there was ridiculous! I asked for a trim and to tidy up her schnauzer beard but was told by the girl checking us in that there was no such thing as a "schnauzer beard"?????!!!!! But ok whatever. I was told around 4 hrs but got called in to pick up in less than 2 thinking it was strangely quick i realize they literally just f****** shaved her!! When i got there my puppy was scared n was hiding behind me the entire way out to the car! I don't know what got to me but we went again for 3rd time and THANK GOD it was the groomer from our first time. My puppy was happy and confident after her groom. Now that i know the groomer's name I'll only ever make appointments with her. I would give full 5 stars to the wonderful groomer but the horrible service from everyone else there took 3 away. read more

I really like this store! The employees are always friendly and helpful, but not in that pushy, hoovering helpful. They also open another check stand whenever there is a line. The brands I buy for my cat are always in stock and they usually have some sort of sale running on toys. read more

I take my toy poodle there to be groomed and they do a good job. I'm pretty specific about what I want and they follow through.

I've been here enough times with my pup that the staff knows her by her name and she knows where her class is located at. She always makes her way there and she warms up to Crystal every time, even though its been months. The folks here are very friendly and they provide excellent suggestions and the return / exchange is awesome. read more

This Petsmart is terrible, I just received a call a day before my dog grooming appt (which I schedule 2 weeks ago) and the groomer told me they need to reschedule it because the appointment was not schedule for an express groom. They should be alert me when I make the grooming appointment, not the day before. The groomer attitude was not helpful and not nice at all. He then say well we have to reschedule and that is. I ask to speak with the manager in this matter and of course she was not helpful either. Not to mention I was charge for the grooming express service last time but I didn't my dog back until 4 hours after my appointment. What a scam, pay more and not get the services I paid for. I was told the express service was that the groomer will be working on my dog from start to finish and avoid putting him in the cannel, but this was not the case. I was other people to know and be aware. Don't want to the same incident happened again to other people. Petsmart definitely just lose another customer. I went to this location (I usually go to the location in Southcenter) to get a flea collar for my puppy and I asked the girl at the counter and she acted as if she didn't know what she was doing, couldn't refer me to anything. After I found what I needed myself because I couldn't find anything in there, someone came up. This could be a great store if they built up the store and hired more folks. Heck I tried to get my dog a bath and they told me they close early because they're understaffed (it was 4:00pm the store closes at 9:00pm). I'll be sticking to good old faithful in Southcenter. read more

***Update for the grooming salon: When I took my dog in a few weeks ago I scheduled him with someone I didn't know because it appeared that Devon was no longer on the list. When I checked in (in person) it was a bit different because they changed their system. No problems there, however my groomer seemed new which also didn't bother me until I came to get my dog and his nails seemed sharp (I pay for a grind and they're always very short and rounded since he gets them each month), I asked if they did his nails and she said yes, his paws weren't trimmed like they have always done and he was still damp and I basically felt flustered and confused because I felt like I was asking too much for what they put in the computer although I'd been coming there for months receiving the same service and consistent quality/techniques. After I paid I noticed my dog was missing his collar and I had to go back and get it. Usually they put a bandana on too which they didn't. I felt like I wasted my money and it prompted me to just call my friend who owns her own grooming salon because I don't want to play quality roulette again. I go to this location often since I live close. Always friendly staff, good deals, the Bansfield clinic inside is always great. The only issue sometimes is how long it takes to check people out in line. Most of it not the cashiers fault, the whole system makes it take a while to get anyone in and out quick. We bought our guinea pig here and we're so happy with how helpful the staff are, especially Petra. She went above and beyond in helping us. After one week, our guinea pig had ringworm. We called Petra and she advised that we bring him back, so they can treat him. We did and after one month of treatment, we got him back and Petra and the rest of the staff were very nice during the whole process. They let us visit and pet him every week. Please don't take you dog here for grooming. We took our pup here about a week ago for a full grooming appointment. His appointment was at noon and we did not get our little Kenobi back until almost 4:00 o'clock. When we did check him in the employee let us know it should only be about 1-2 hours until pick up. The employee that did the job was "Heather Y." At pick up, Heather had stated that he did not like the blow dryer too much and had hand dried him. She also stated that our dog was not too much of a fan of the nail trimming and paw hair trimming. This blew my mind, because our dog has never had an issue with anyone grabbing his paws. She still charged us the full amount. I'm not sure what type of grooming our dog received, but I'm sure it would have been the same if we were to just give him a bath at home. Poor customer service, poor communication skills and very low skills in dog grooming. I will not be taking my dog here for grooming again. read more

My dog and I adore our PetSmart groomer, Nicolle. She's been grooming him for the last two years and I've never been dissatisfied. My doggo is always happy to see her. She greets us with a smile and he greets her with the same butt wiggles he greets me with. Nicolle always double checks what cut I'd like (even though it's always the same) and she turns my old muppet into a handsome puppers (looking and acting 5 years younger)! This place is awful. Our puppy is very young, so she really hates getting her nails trimmed. The first time I took her for a trim, they told me she "could use some leadership" and "could use a firmer hand." The same employee also chided me for not making an appointment--which I couldn't have known beforehand. I barely escaped the store before I cried. I reported the employee to corporate, and corporate assured me they'd get back with me. That never happened. Today, we reluctantly went back. We even called ahead of time to schedule an appointment, as they requested, only to be told we didn't need to make one. They were about to check us in when we were told that they wouldn't serve us. They told us this in front of other customers. Loudly. And they never mentioned it before. My partner was so embarrassed that she cried on the way out. These assholes can't handle puppies and can't manage decent customer service. read more

the grooming service staff are the coldest i've ever encountered with. no customer service at all. i just called them trying to get an appointment for our dog and it seemed like they don't want for us to come in. they don't care...i'm finding another salon. read more

I'd give no stars if possible. Avoid the grooming salon like the plague. When I arrived, there was a wait so I stood in the salon and watched other doggies get groomed. One employee, name started with M, was grooming a dog who clearly did not like his nails touched. She continuously told him to stop, knock it off, and asked "why are you so mean?". Never once stopped to try calming him or reassure him it would be okay. After she finished, she got on her cell phone, and enjoyed some pretzels, while the same dog was still leashed on her table. Another dog, being groomed by some chick with bright red in her hair was also scared and not doing very well with his grooming. In my opinion this dog was taking it way better than the first dog I mentioned. I saw her grab him by his chin FIRMLY multiple times and say "STOP". Not to mention she still had the shaver in her hands while she firmly grabbed his chin. Poor pup My pup is a 5 pound, frail, tiny chihuahua. He shakes all the time which is common for this breed. He does not go on a leash because his neck is extremely small. I asked for "clip & grind". Gal took him back, and I went outside to watch. Glad I did. She immediately puts him on a leash, and brings out the grinder. CLIP, THEN GRIND. I'm watching the process and my dog is skidding around the table terrified and nearly hung himself. She continues to "groom" then I hear a few yelps from him. Which he's NEVER done at this place. I go in the "salon" and ask if I can hold him, and they say no, but another employee can. Hesitant, I go back out to watch. I notice the chick holding my pup really tight, as he's whimpering and shaking. They're almost done so I let him tough it out. Finally done, I go in there, grab my boy, and head out like my ass was on fire. Pup was shaking and hanging his head the whole way home. I will never return to this place. I will be filing a complaint, but based off other reviews it probably won't do much. I hope those other puppies left with their owners okay. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO BE GROOMED HERE! SO MANY HORRIBLE REVIEWS, HERE IS ANOTHER ONE. It's too bad I cannot rate them 0/5 stars, the 1 star seems way too generous. This review is for the grooming salon ONLY. BEWARE! The salon manager is rude, inconsiderate, snotty and overall catty. I have had 2 horrible experiences with this salon within a short period of time and had to express my concerns. The first time I had an appointment for my 2 dogs at 7AM for a drop off. The store is not open quite yet, and if you have an appointment early you have to wait outside until they let you in. I was outside just a few minutes after 7AM and waited 10-15 minutes for someone to let me in. By the time I made my way to the rear of the store and checked in, the salon manager came out and refused to do our appointments because somehow this 15 minutes it took them to let me in made us "too late" and would throw the schedule off. I had a brief discussion with her, and her body language and verbiage was rude, arrogant and extremely catty. Another time I had my Westie boy groomed there and his cut was horrible. He was uneven, and looked rather goofie. In addition, the salon manager was not friendly to my dog; she was impatient and nearly looked like she was pulling him on the leash by his head. He is a little Westie and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He is a little love bug; just sometimes he isn't too bright so he gets confused or anxious with a lot of other dogs around, so simply asking him to "come on puppy" when he is on a leash works. I complained to the manager and they agreed to refund me for the mistakes. At that time I decided that this place was just too horrible to return. I was in a giving mood last night, so decided to give it another shot. After-all it had been 6 months or so since the last incident. I called to make an appointment. The girl on the phone put me on hold and came back to say they would not groom my dogs. They were refusing MY money! I knew I had to hop on Yelp and vent my opinions on here. This salon "manager" should be fired!!!! She is the epitome of rude and really would like to see some justice done. Needless to say, I called another local salon and they were more than happy to accommodate me. WARNING! DO NOT INTERFACE WITH THE SALON MANAGER, SHE IS THE WORST. ATTITUDE AND TREATMENT OF ANIMALS IS VERY QUESTIONABLE. read more
