Please, please if you care about your dog: DO NOT board your pup here. Please! They have "potentially" overdosed my dog on medication and forgotten to give her her medication (yet 2/3 of the bottle was missing instead of 1/3 and didn't tell me that she had urine in her blood, despite me asking and later admitting they did see it and she flinched when my friend tried to pet her, so just be careful. She also drank water like she's never had water before. Pls be careful. read more

We brought Jax in today and I think our groomer did an okay job! The service was AMAZING, and she was really nice along with the front desk associates. We weren't bringing him in for a dog event, and seen that they are pro-groomers (which I agree with!) We weren't a huge fan of the grooming, just because we specifically wanted his legs to be stubby and to not cut down too much. We do wish they didn't shave the feet so far up. Usually it's not too high up and the fur from the legs cover it up a little. For us, we make sure to well groom our dog to avoid any shaving and make it easier for the groomer and make sure to grown his fur on his legs and face out especially due to how we like it groomed. The ears weren't what we described as well, but we cut it more ourselves. There were some spots with shorter hair then the rest and some long hairs sticking out which I fixed at home. It wasn't a fit for us, but appreciate the job that was done because Jax does look clean. I do groom at home so I'll fix up his ears. We did say we're open to "creativeness" so that's fair, but we meant it in a different way hahahah! We give our groomers grace because we know how hard it is, but I also love to be honest about it :) He also came home with a bow which is so cute! Price: $103! And the most expensive we did spend for a grooming for him. We still tipped because she did great, just not the style we wanted. Parking was great and easy to get to, and they have many services. I have used this company one time in the past and today I dropped off my dog at 1 pm and I attempted to call 3 times at 4:30 pm because it was not normal to take this long. I could not get anyone to answer and I decided to go to the location in Tukwila to check the status of my dog. I was told at 4:45 pm that my pet had been bathed and was dry now they were going to do the grooming. If they would have answered their phone after calling 3 times I could have at least been informed of the status of my pet. I tried to respond to the text they sent me at 1 pm and I got a response that I cannot send text messages to that number. Normally it takes 2-3 hours and that would be fine if I could have communicated with them. I am waiting in the parking lot for the them to finish grooming. The groomer Stephanie could have been more understanding. It was as if she was uncomfortable with me checking in on the status of my pet. I will not be returning to this location. I do not feel valued as a customer. read more

So now have been looking for a new groomer for her. All that we have tried have been good , but not how we love to see her (how they use to groom her) we will be trying a new groomer today ! These guys are the real deal! My pup had a bad experience the last time she went to another groomer, and has been difficult to get professionally groomed ever since. This experience however, has changed that for us and we are SO happy! I have a purebred Australian shepherd whose coat needed help deshedding beyond the home grooming, and nails I was too afraid to cut too short. Her booty started accumulating longer fur, and her ears were easily matted. Everything was addressed and handled so well! The staff has good communication and pay attention to details. Scheduling was a little difficult for me as I work full time but they were able to work with me and help me. Took my 7 month old vaccinated pup to get a bath and brush (not full groom) and she started coughing immediately. She has Kennel cough. I am at the vet right now! Please don't take your dog here. I dropped her off for grooming at 3 pm and I showed up 8 pm and was told she was not ready yet, said she was being " naughty " . I waited for her past 9pm which facility closes at 9pm. So happy to have found this place. My dog is not the type that enjoys playing with other dogs - and he also needs humans that understand he gets anxious and treat him with patience. I didn't think a kennel was for him for those reasons - but this place has solo boarding for dogs who don't like to play with other dogs and also allows you to book individual play time. Online booking is easy and hassle free - no need to call and go back and forth on everything. What I like the most about Paws VIP is the social media - they post all the time on Instagram and I saw Charlie going from nervous to super happy. I felt a lot better seeing him throughout the day. I used to take my dog here all the time but it has really gone downhill in the past year. The lobby has a terrible urine smell and it just feels very dirty in there. I also made sure to avoid taking my dog there during the summer this year. They usually bring out the dog pool to help keep the dogs cool but I wish they had an option to opt out of this. My dog doesn't enjoy getting wet so she'd sit off to the side but the water from the pool would trickle over to her and she'd come home every time smelling of pee and I'd have to give her a bath. The staff has also changed a lot in the past year and they tend to be more concerned with chatting among themselves than acknowledging the customers. I walked in once and they were placing bets with each other and just standing around in the lobby rather than tending to the dogs. Lastly, I used to have my dog groomed by Emma and she always did a wonderful job. She left PawsVIP so I decided to try out their new groomer since they were offering discounted services. The cut itself was fine but I didn't like the way they treated my dog. I guess she was having some stomach issues (that she didn't have prior to drop off) so she had an accident on the table and the groomer said she was over it after that and decided my dog was done. I'm not blaming her for that because I would've been over it by then too but it could've been communicated to me in a lot nicer way and I would've appreciated a phone call or text to let me know. read more
