I usually leave my dog with family, but they weren't available. I found this place through online research and ignored the red flags -- something I deeply regret. After a short trial weekend, my dog came home with a cut on his nose. They brushed it off and blamed him. Foolishly, I gave them a second chance for a longer stay. When I picked him up, he had a deep wound on his nose, a chipped tooth, and was visibly traumatized. He wasn't the same dog -- withdrawn, scared, and exhausted. When I contacted the owner, she avoided responsibility and offered no real explanation. After pushing for answers, she sent a photo of the small cage he had been kept in -- nothing like what I was told. She even tried to shift the blame onto my dog again. This place was neglectful and unprofessional, and I strongly considered pursuing further action. I would never bring my dog here again. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Your dog deserves better.

Julia did a 2 week board & train with our dog while we were traveling, mainly focusing on leash skills and practicing calm behavior around exciting things. We noticed an immediate improvement, but have also been continuing to work on the training at home after our follow up. I would recommend the doggy daycare for active and playful dogs or social dogs. My other senior dog wasn't into the social scene and didn't like being around a lot of dogs, so this wasn't a great fit for her. They do have a non-social option, which is more like a small enclosed run, but you have to know your dog and whether that will work for them. For my two that have gone to PnP, every day I look forward to seeing their photos and hearing about the fun they had. In the summer, my dogs especially like cooling off in the kiddie pools. I know the entire facility is very clean. They close midday to clean, and my dogs never came home smelling dirty. Our senior dog Moose loved going to "school" and getting in the car everyday. The staff at PnP took such gentle loving care of him even as he got older and weaker. They noticed little things like days he was in pain even before we did and were always careful to let us know. Unfortunately, the business closed permanently with no advance notice to customers, despite many of us having prepaid daycare packages. I had just purchased a new 10-day package for $420 that had never been used. After the closure, I reached out to request a refund. Instead of issuing refunds directly, I was instructed to contact the third-party scheduling software company, Gingr, or dispute the charge with my bank or credit card company. As the business that accepted my payment, I expected Paws N Pals to handle refunds directly rather than directing customers elsewhere. To make matters more confusing, I continue to receive daycare notifications even though the business has permanently closed. I truly appreciated the care my dog received over the years, but the way this business closed and handled prepaid customer accounts has been extremely disappointing. Longtime customers who paid in advance for services that were never provided should not have to fight to recover their money. I hope every customer with an unused package receives a full refund.

I was stressing, thinking they would charge me for an extra day, but I called them and explained to my delay, and they agreed to meet me up to a half hour after closing time. I did so and got my dog back :) nice of them to accommodate. Note that they do require kennel cough inoculation, plus a poop sample, before they will accept your dog for boarding.

We had our dogs boarded at Seattle Canine Club on 4th Ave for a long weekend. We are new to the…read morearea, and have not yet met friends we can trust to care for our pups. After research, we decided to board them with Seattle Canine Club. They hadn't been boarded before (they were watched by family back home). We paid approximately $500 for both our 6yo mutt and our 2yo labradoodle to stay. Prior to having them boarded, we took them for a day of doggy daycare to make sure they were well acclimated. Based on the initial visit (5h play day) and the reviews, we thought this was a safe place for our dogs to spend the weekend. Unfortunately, it was not. We understand that they do not receive the same attention as they would at home as the staff is caring for multiple pets, but what occurred was essentially animal abuse. Our labradoodle, Luka, gets frequent ear infections due to hair buildup and moisture (common in doodle breads). We sent him with ear cleaner (twice per day, must be wiped out of the ear) and an ear medication to prevent bacterial growth or yeast. We had also ensured that his ears were plucked, cleaned, and dried before dropping him off. We also provided three copies of written instructions as well as verbal instructions to care staff. Upon pickup on Sunday, we looked inside Luka's ears to find that he had chemical burns inside his ear as well as on the outside of his ear - a sign that the ear cleaner and medication were not wiped out of his ear after being applied. Further more, Luka was covered in pee - his paws, his hip area, and his belly. I am not sure if this was his own pee, or pee from another dog, but he was not dropped off on Thursday covered in urine. We understand that dogs may accidentally pee on themselves (or each other) but AT A MINIMUM send the dog home at least rinsed off. Upon bathing him, the water was absolutely filthy. Had the staff called us and let us know that he was covered in urine and offered to wash/groom him - we would have paid any expense. However, no call was made. Not about his ears, and certainly not about the urine he was covered in. My other dog, Meeko, is on doggie prozac for anxiety. Upon drop-off, we provided them with 4 pills and instructions to give him one pill per day (only Friday and Saturday since we were picking up on Sunday and had given him Thursday's). Upon pickup, there were still 4 pills in the container. This means that he was without his medicine Friday and Saturday, and Prozac is something that needs to build up in their system to work. Additionally, we received one photo of each dog for the entire weekend (which I had to request). Seattle Canine Club provided absolutely atrocious care for our two dogs, and we will never visit this establishment again. Additionally, we will be sure to let everyone know about the animal abuse that occurs when you think you are leaving your pets at a 'safe' location.

We have used Janice's service 19 times since April 2021 to take care of our cats when we are…read moretraveling. They are reliable and treat our cats well. We have video monitors in our home and we watch their visits sometimes. They talk to the cats and brush them and generally treat our pets as we would treat them ourselves. We usually pay them in advance using Zelle although they have other payment arrangements. They refill the water fountain and the automatic cat feeder and cleaned the litter box before we bought a Litter Robot. They are familiar with this machine and know how to change the catch bag in the tray. One of our cats requires a medication and they take care of that as well. We used to live less than 1/4 mile from their home but in April 2023, we moved to Des Moines, WA. That was still within their coverage area so they continue to help us. Very satisfied.

I was advised they were out of town and it would have to be another day. I had neglected to re-communicate anything for a couple of years..my mistake. I did reach out today March 17th 2024..asking to pick up my house key and was advised it was discarded..after 5 years they apparently, (what I can assume because of no future reservations) discarded keys and just threw it away. I had no call to advise this was happening or email to let me know. I do not really think this is the best way to do business even with someone who only used your service once. Please rethink your practices..especially when you have a key to someone's residence. Thank you
