And smelled so much better! She home is located in a convenient and safe spot for drop off and pick up. I always appreciate Jackie noticing and communicating health concerns too. She asked me to email the updated shot records, which I did within 24 hours. Yet, when my roommate took Noodles in she was turned away for not having those records on file. I did not get a response to my follow up email. I had to call and have Helena look for the email on the specific day I sent it which she basically did. Now they won't even trim her face (the whole point of us getting her haircut). I get she's squirmy and afraid of everything but this is why we pay a hefty price for a haircut. She clearly didn't get a bath and makes you wonder if they've ever given her one in our previous visits. It's time for a new place, sadly

I'm glad I listened to my friend because their customer service is outstanding! We were greeted by the owners Michael and Michele who were so welcoming to their salon. You can tell how much they love what they do. The salon is big, bright and super clean with more than just grooming services. They also sell high quality dog food, tons of treats and toys and also have several well spaced fully stocked self dog wash stations. The groomer Lauren came out right away to meet addy and discuss her haircut with us. Addy who can be hesitant with strangers was immediately in her arms and loving the attention. Lauren did a fantastic job and Addy's cut was perfect. We had our older dog with us too and we were able to use the self dog wash. Buffy has arthritis but had no problem getting up the step into the nice sized tub. Being our first time Michael was super helpful to show us how to use everything and all the supplies they provide which is everything you need. Even extra towels which we appreciated. Finally I got out and they chased me to my car. WAS EXTREMELY SCARED! NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY IN MY LIFE. Be careful! And my poor fur baby looks horrible!! Hair cut, washed and nails trimmed it's her place to be on Saturday mornings. Always a joy to drop her off and get her back looking good. The business name is accurate because these gals get to work and there is definitely dog hair EVERYWHERE! IMO Thats a lot of trust floating through the air. When I got her back from grooming, she was looking like this (video in car). Very little hair on her body, I felt sad for her and almost cried. Her head has a fro and her tail is basically gone and naked. When I came in to get her, I was initially shocked and didn't know what to say. I thought I liked it until I took another good look at her. She didn't even come out smelling good and i'm wondering if her ears were cleaned. This is her second experience getting groomed. The first time was out of state, where I got her and when I was planning on flying back to Seattle, I had a groomer that did a tidy up puppy cut (the photos where they gave her bows in her ears afterwards). She smelled so good after, her curls were still there and her tail had a lot of hair. At the front desk, I asked if there were notes and there were none. I was hoping for an explanation on why she came out looking kind of naked. When I asked for a puppy cut, I didn't think the hair would be cut down this much. The haircut also looks choppy, especially the head part. It isn't even like what I thought a puppy cut would look like. I appreciate the groomer for being patient with this puppy though and took their time on my girl. Hair will grow back. I showed all my friends the video of her in the car and they had the same thoughts I did. I almost cried (lol). Anyway, hair will grow back. I just wanted to leave this review and maybe I should have done more extensive research on groomers. I was nervous to schedule an appointment at all due to it being her second time (first time in WA).

I found K9 Grooming through Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We drive 30 minutes to get here and I won't lie, the salon is pricey. It usually costs me around $300 with trip for a standard Aussie and mini Aussie regular groom. But it is absolutely worth it. My dogs are my babies. We have a 6-year-old Aussie we've had since he was a puppy, and we recently added our rescue mini Aussie who is now 8. Our rescue has extreme anxiety from her past trauma, including living in a hoarding situation. The team here treats both of our dogs like family. I've never once worried about the way they're cared for. The salon is spotless. Anytime I walk into a grooming place that smells like urine or feces or is chaotic with constant barking, it's an instant red flag for me. K9 Grooming is completely different. It's clean, calm, and you can even watch your dogs being groomed so there's no mystery about how they're treated. Recently our neighbor warned us about fleas in the area, so I called K9 as a concerned pet mom. They were so helpful. They told me they'd start with a regular bath and, if they found any fleas, they'd do the treatment and call us so we could prep the house. Sure enough, they found a few a went forward with the flea bath. They provided me with helpful information and next steps. I sincerely appreciate the level of care, transparency, and customer service the staff provide. I could never take my dogs anywhere else after coming here.
