I can't say enough about our experience at Ruff N Puff Pet Grooming and the care they took with our senior Coltriever. Our pup is extremely nervous about grooming and was severly matted. We were assured from our first contact with Ruff N Puff that they were the right choice when they recommended we not medicate him prior to his visit so they could evaluate him first before taking that measure. Symon took extra care with our boy and was able to save most of his golden coat while removing ALL of the matted undercoat when we were afraid he would need to be complete shaved. Our pup is extremely touchy about his toes (arthritis) and even so, Symon was able to trim his nails beautifully - I'm sure that was a job :-) I would not hestitate to return or take my anxious pup to Symon for his care and attention. I took my grandson's service dog to have him groomed. He's a little five-year-old Jack Russell/Chihuahua. They did an amazing job, and I said that he was extremely good for them which... I kind of laughed at because he doesn't slow down for anything The only issue I had was after pricing a lot of different places they were the most expensive for the same as he would've gotten at one that was less than half which is one of the larger pet stores. I had set aside a good amount for a gratuity, but I was unable to even give that to the technician because of what the bath cost. They did do a good job and yes, I would recommend them and yes, I will probably take Bounci back to see them again! read more

I paid for my dog to have her glands expressed at Ruff N Fluff. I noticed the next day that she was still uncomfortable going outside to poop. I took her into the vet for an exam a week later, thinking something else was wrong, because it can't be her glads, they were just done. Well, the vet said her glands were still extremely full. Super disappointing. read more

This was my first time using Ruff n Fluff for my 2 long haired Dachshunds, but it won't be my last! They did a fabulous job! Both my dogs got the Ruff n Fluff package and they both look fabulous. The staff were all so nice and they listened to what I asked to be done and did it. It felt so good to pick them up and not be disappointed or mad because they hadn't been groomed they way I had requested. They also seemed very fairly priced & charged me exactly what they quoted. I always have gotten good service, and the price is reasonable but two times ago i thought the cut was a little on the short side and was concerned about damaging his coat so last time i showed her a picture of him with the lenght of coat i wanted and was shocked when I saw how shaved down he was when I picked him up. dogs with a double coat like Australian Sheppards should not be cut that short. The coat was in bad shape for a while when it grew back in and looked almost mangy. Disappointing cuz I really liked her shop and bringing him here. read more

I am beyond upset with this place. This is not the first time I have brought my pup in for grooming but it will be the last. When I walked in they didn't bring my pup out right away like they usually do. The two employees that were not grooming my pup came out and told me that the woman had cut my pups tongue and she needed to clean him up. They said that he was okay and acted like it was no big deal and they had no idea how this could happen because my pup always does so good. The woman finally came out from the back then had to blow dry my pup again after cleaning up the blood off his face. While I stood waiting one of employees was making my situation worst by talking about herself and a bunch of other none sense, the longer I stood there the more upset and emotional I got, I just wanted to get my pup out of there and this girl was making it worst! When the woman finally brought my pup out to me she tried showing me my pups tongue and was making excuses to how it happened, I then expressed to the woman that I understood what happened was an accident but that I was still upset rightfully so about the whole situation and that fact that it happened at all and that she didn't need to make excuses for her actions as it's her job to care for the well being of my pup while he's in her care and she stated that she had groomed him before so I really couldn't understand how she could be so careless with him. The woman proceeded to make more excuses as to how/why it happened and even tried to blame my pup and then me for him sticking his tongue out at one point.(HELLO HE'S A DOG HE'S GONNA STICK HIS TONGUE OUT!) I could not believe this woman during this whole interaction and through ALL the excuses not one person there APOLOGIZED or did anything to try to make it right. The woman was extremely rude and unsympathetic to the whole situation then charged me full price and walked away like nothing. The photos I'm posting were taken less than 10 minutes after leaving that place and I later realized that he had small cuts and red marks on his stomach and near his private parts and his testicles look like he has a rash he can't stop licking the areas as it's probably irritating him and hurts. On top of it all his cut was terribly and had patches where it looked like she shaved him for no reason and the over all cut was uneven. Worst experience ever read more

Zero stars!! The owner tore out my 3 pound dogs dew claw. I didn't get a call about the injury, I was told when I picked her up. This was my first time at a groomer so, I paid, tipped the woman, and went to the vet. She claimed that she muzzled my dog and she tore it out herself trying to get the muzzle off!! Since that awful day my dog has a seizure disorder, and cannot be groomed or even be seen by the vet. Now, the other day I saw her in passing and I demanded the 300 dollar vet bill and groom reimbursement. Now, she said a new version of the injury...my dog pulled her own nail out as she was trimming her!! This lady has not gone through grooming school!! She opened the business and is dangerous to all animals. read more

After waiting over 5 hours for my dog to be groomed, I waited for another hour in the reception area and listened to the owner and associate bad mouth me regarding the way I had handled my dog. They were unaware that I was sitting on the other side of the wall from them. I found this behavior very rude and unprofessional. They have no idea who I am or my situation. They assumed that I had been mistreating my dog, which was far from the truth. I will never return and I will tell anyone I meet about my horrific experience. Please BEWARE!!! read more
