We had to bring him back for staples again cause the stitches popped out and he got pretty swollen. After the staples didn't work we took him back a third time and they left an opening for drainage and stuff and stitched him back up. But went back to remove the stitches. Wait was hours ling. Tried to schedule an appointment but it was booked out super far ended up just taking the stitches out myself. So far so good. I would go back for an emergency but probably not for normal vet since they are a very popular vet and scheduling may be crazy. The front desk staff were awesome gave my kid some coloring things and such while we waited for a room.

On 8/22/2026, I made an appointment specifically because I was extremely concerned Otis had cancer. He had lost a significant amount of weight, was barely eating, extremely lethargic, no longer playing with our other dogs, and had VERY large lymph nodes. We were booked with Dr. Moss. I showed Moss the enlarged lymph node and explained all of Otis's symptoms. Moss attempted an aspiration twice and told me it was "oily" and benign, and that my dog was overweight. Otis was NOT overweight. I have photos documenting his weight changes because the changes were happening fast! So That comment felt completely dismissive and out of pocket, especially when I was there because I knew something was wrong. I STILL made it very clear that I wanted blood work because I was concerned about cancer or even a deficiency that could be treated. The appointment then shifted to Otis's ears needing to be cleaned, requiring anesthesia through the ER department. When Dr. Millard called to tell me Otis had done well and was waking up, I asked again about the blood work. She told me they had not been notified to do it, but said they could run it along with a newer cancer screening test they were learning about. I immediately said YES. That was the entire reason I originally made the appointment. The results came back showing signs of lymphoma. I was also told over the phone that we could try Apoquel for Otis's ear allergies. When we later returned to discuss the lymphoma results, I was told to STOP the Apoquel because it can weaken the immune system and potentially accelerate cancer.I paid $328.52 for the medication I was then told to discontinue because of concerns related to cancer. I also have a HUGE issue with what happened when I picked Otis up. I was told to come as soon as possible, so I did. I was put in a room and apparently no one was told I was there. I waited 45 minutes before calling the front desk myself, and it took another 10 minutes for them to bring my dog out. Then I discovered Otis had been left in a crate WITH HIS LEASH ON. I consider this Animal ABUSE. A dog should never be left unattended in a crate with a leash attached because the leash or collar can become caught and cause strangulation. Otis had also just been under anesthesia, making this even more unacceptable. When they brought him to me, they apologized because he had had a very large urine accident in the crate and his leash was covered in urine. What if the leash or collar had gotten caught? What if Otis had panicked? What if he had choked himself to death? I bet they woulda blamed it on the anesthesia! I am beyond angry. I don't know who was responsible for each part of this situation, but I DO know how I feel about the way my dog was treated. Dr. Moss made me feel like my concerns were not important. I believe to my core that Dr. Moss does not care about my dog or the concerns I brought forward. I felt dismissed, and completely unheard while advocating for an animal who could not advocate for himself. I even emailed Dr. Millard about the entire situation and received no response. Dr. Millard ultimately transferred Otis's care to an oncology veterinarian in Lakewood, and I am grateful for that. And here is the part that absolutely breaks my heart: Otis has since been diagnosed with STAGE 4 LYMPHOMA. He has cancer in his liver and spleen. WOW. I knew something was wrong with my dog. I listened to my dog. I advocated for my dog. And I was right. I am thankful we eventually got the blood work and that Otis was transferred to oncology care, but that does not erase everything that happened before that. After this experience, I will NEVER bring my dogs here again. If you are considering this hospital, especially Dr. Moss, please do your own research and advocate HARD for your animals. You know your pet. If something doesn't feel right, keep pushing for answers. Otis deserved better.

A shock collar was discovered on my dog jammed so tight on his neck that both my husband and the male employee had significant difficulty removing it. The employee at pickup did not disclose the use and was going to allow us to leave with this collar still on our dog. There was no communication during his stay that this type of discplinary action was necessary and it was a complete shock, since we have used the boarding service several times and our dog's behavior has only been praised. A single finger couldn't even fit underneath it. The employee on duty had to physically choke, pull, and wrestle my dog to get it off causing him severe distress, flailing, and yelping. He was inside of an unsupervised crate with this device and staff have not disclosed how many days this device was used. We have tried to communicate with the owner directly, and have been told three very different explanations regarding the use which shows deception and lying. Leaving an improperly fitted, high-pressure correction tool jammed on a confined dog unattended, with zero shift logging or handler handoff is negligence, plain and simple. When confronted with these safety failures, the owner doubled down with deflection rather than addressing why my dog was wrongly subjected to unmonitored equipment and choking under their roof. Formal complaints has been filed with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), along with deceptive business practice reports with the WA Attorney General. Save your dogs the trauma and avoid sending your dog to this facility.

I believe it because on his last day there, he's been afraid of people, paces, flinches when I go to pet him and is a completely different dog. He used to be such a happy boy. They also refuse to let you see what is going on in the area where they keep the pups. Everything is hush hush. I asked about two injuries and never received an answer. My pup came home with a penis infection and a cut elbow. My pup will never go there again. Some of the staff is also not very nice. The manager is rude and aggressive. These people should not be working with dogs.
