My sweet girl full of putty love
Kay-Kay K.

I recommend Seattle Canine Club to anyone who wants their furry friend taken care of for dog daycare, dog boarding, and grooming . My girl, Ziva, loves to meet and play with new friends and loves the staff there!

Play time

My dog Edith, 3 yr old husky mix, has had 2 weeks here and is having a ball. All the staff are amazing and I feel confident that she is safe and happy. Here is a picture playing and at the end of the day after her dinner at home.

Zeke!

We have been taking our dog Zeke to Seattle Canine Club for several years now and they are amazing! Each and every staff member takes great care with the dogs (and their owners!) they take in each day. Finally, the best review I can give is that Zeke is more excited to run into Seattle Canine Club than anywhere else once we get parked and out of the car! If he loves it then we love it! Highly recommend

Headed home tired from a week at The Club

My two pups stay here for boarding quite a bit, and always head in happy and excited (a good sign they like it there) and come home tired and well cared for. Boarders get to play during the day with the daycare dogs, so they get plenty of exercise and out-of-crate time. The staff does a great job of giving report outs of the experience, any concerns or behavior problems that may have occurred, and are very patient with my pair as they are both loud, bossy, and want to be in on the action. I also appreciate that I can bring a couple things like a crate blanket and chew toy, and they will be sure it gets into their crate for something familiar (and hopefully comforting) from home.

Charlie after his Seattle Canine grooming sesh...even our cat Lucky noticed how good he smells!

I am so happy with Seattle Canine Club! They really take the time to talk to you to understand exactly what you're looking for and do such a great job with the grooming. My dog is usually super anxious to leave but he looked as calm and happy as could be when I went to pick him up (I've gone twice so far). They also gave him this cute little bandana and he smells amazing...even our cat came over to check him out when we got home lol. I definitely plan to be a regular customer.

Rocky Road grooming

We love that we can leave our beloved family member, Rocky Road, with a crew we trust to care for him, keep him safe and make sure he plays hard with his small dog posse! Rocky loves Seattle Canine Club - he is so excited the moment we turn in!! That makes it even a better experience for us. Added bonuses that he can sleep over, get a bath and even a haircut! And, we love how on top the staff is that everyone is feeling well and having regular vet visits. We feel so safe entrusting Rocky with the team

Seattle Canine Club does a great job for both daycare and overnight boarding and is very communicative. We have been taking our dog here for over 2 years!

Duke had a great haircut! He appeared calm at pick up and his hair looked great, he smelled good, and the front desk lady was so sweet and welcomed us. Prices are a bit high but worth it for the flexible scheduling and quick pick up.

Our mini bernedoodle Bear has been going to Seattle canine club for daycare since we got him as a puppy when he was 6 months old, we've been going there for 9 months now about 2-3 days a week. Bear LOVES it there. The staff/team has been terrific since day 1, consistently thoughtful, friendly, helpful, and it's so so nice to see how much the team really knows about Bear over time. Every time I drop him off or pick him up, they'll tell me a highlight from Bear's day or something about him they've noticed or learned, if he's had a fun day, who his friends are (my favorite update), and they'll also share some observations about him as he's getting older, ie using his voice more. It all shows so much genuine care and interest the team has in Bear and all the doggies. I always feel worry free sending Bear there. We also leave him with lunch and occasional requests and they're always happy to accommodate, including taking him last minute morning of a few times when our plans changed. We are very appreciative of Jose and the whole team for their care of our furry family members! Highly recommend!

Great first haircut for our 6 month old puppy. The groomer had prior experience with the breed so our little guy was adorable after the cut.

Owners and people who enjoy dogs, lounge on plush couches sipping libations or playing one of the many board games provided for free. There is even a pool table! The staff are friendly and the bar also has draft beer as well as all manner of mixed drinks. My wife and I and Bomer, (our King Charles Cavalier) came to check this place out. We had thought there would be food, but apparently the health department will not allow it. We were told that we could bring our own food, and there are plenty of places in the neighborhood to get some including a wonderful BBQ place 2 blocks away. Besides the bar area, there are some indoor and outdoor play areas for the doggies. It was raining that day but I did have a look. The outdoor area is quite small compared to some other dog/people bars I've seen There are also a couple of indoor play areas. One is exclusively for boarding doggies, which, I did go to check out and was immediately mobbed by both large and small dogs. They were friendly but, I was quite overwhelmed and the staff helped me exit. Now I was told there was yet another indoor play area for visitors, but it was "not open". The owner lady did tell me she would open it for us, but never followed up and I thought her messaging about it was a little confusing. Other than that the basic bat area seemed nice, and we could see there were quite a few regulars there who knew each other as well as the dogs seemed to. Our little Boomer tried to make friends and was able to run around and play with some of the other dogs We did order some drinks, I enjoyed my draft beer but my wife did not like the one red wine they had which tasted a like a port that had been mixed with a red blend. Blech! So, now for the stars. As my Yelp friends know, I ALWAYS start with five and deduct from there. I will have to deduct a half star for the terrible red wine with no alternatives. If you're going to be "a bar" you need good wine and more than one option. Then a half star for the mixed messaging I encountered over the "public indoor play space. So four stars! We booked a grooming service and were clear with the front desk about our expectations. We selected a tier 3 shortness level haircut and explicitly requested her entire body to be trimmed -- including her head, face, and a lion-style tail (fluffy end, trimmed shaft). Unfortunately, the results were disappointing. Upon pickup, Pepper shook her body and an excessive amount of loose hair fell off, which indicated she was not brushed thoroughly after the cut. In addition, the specific areas we highlighted were not properly groomed, and the cut across her body is noticeably uneven. I have attached photos for your reference. While I understand this was her first appointment and the groomer was seeing her for the first time, I want to make it clear that Pepper is a very calm and cooperative dog who is easy to groom. There should not have been any behavioral challenges affecting the outcome. Given the quality of the grooming service provided, we do not believe the results reflect the price we paid. We requested a discount or partial refund for the visit, and have not heard from anyone. We followed up two more times and still nothing. We hope this feedback can be used to improve quality control and communication in the future. We will not be back again.

Cosmic Home and Pet was highly recommended to us and lived up to our expectations! Our initial contact was over the phone and after that, was a smooth process of organizing dates and a face to face meeting which all went very well. Brea seemed very easy going and comfortable acclimatizing to our home almost immediately. For the duration of our time away, I received numerous updates, videos and photos via text message. I could tell that my kitties were happy as Brea's photos and videos showed them playing with her, being active etc. Although I missed them like crazy, I was not at all worried about them, which made our vacation more enjoyable. Upon arriving home, everything was well taken care of. The litter box was cleaned, their food station was up to par and our mail was even collected for us. Our keys were returned in a very timely manner. Cosmic Home and Pet was affordable and our experience with them was just excellent. Keep up the amazing work and you will be hearing again from Boots and Whiskey in the near future.

I've used their services 5 times now and I could not be happier with my experience. I would highly recommend using them if you live in the area. First of all, I think they have a great facility for the cats. The cats are given their own "kitty condo" (although this may or may not be shared with another guest during the peak holiday seasons). These condos are large and from what I can tell, all are multi-leveled. The condos have bedding and litter boxes and some space for the cats to move around. Cats are generally confined to condos on their first day/night just to make sure they adjust to the new space. After that, cats are allowed to free roam the facility during the working hours (8-6) as long as they are well behaved. There are tons of cat towers, beds, scratching posts, and toys for the cats to use during the day. The floors inside are heated so even during the cold winter cats will be extremely comfortable. They also have a vary large "catio" which is a fully enclosed area built out into the backyard garden. They have a cat door so cats can freely roam between the inside and this outside area. The space is entirely caged in so no one can escape, but it allows cats to lounge in the fresh air and sun. There seem to be 1-2 staff members which help out with the cats during business hours. They feed the cats twice a day and clean up all the litter boxes. I believe they also spend some time playing and petting the kitties. The girls I've met (Alison and Angela) have both been really fantastic. They are very sweet, helpful and always give us little stories about our cat when we pick her up. They also update a "kitty blog" every other day with photos of all the cats staying with them. I really reading these updates and very much look forward to them. They give lots of personality to these updates and they are such a joy to read. Parking and Entrance: All My Kitties is located on the bottom floor of the owner's (Marie) house. To find the entrance, you need to follow the signs and lights heading down the driveway, past the double gates, and into the garden. You can ring the "catio" doorbell or call the number posted and one of the gals inside will come to let you in. Don't enter on your own so that you don't accidentally let any cats lose! You can park in the driveway itself easily or on the street.

You name it I tried it. I knew in my heart Pirate was trainable. My husband said "no more, we will just keep him away from people", :0 I decided maybe we needed a dog Psychologist or behaviorist. So I started looking online. Most of the reviews were about putting dogs on drugs. Well I had done that before and Pirate bit our neighbor. As it turns out he was more aggressive on them. Then I saw an ad for "Sensitive Dog". One particular review was so heartfelt and it sounded like all my issues with Pirate, plus all the reviews were great. My husband was willing to do one last try. Julie at Sensitive dog was everything Pirate and I needed.!!!! The first appointment was so positive. It was 2 1/2 hours observing Pirate, talking to me at length about all our issues with him. She was a nice mix of reward based training as well as consequential training. It's such a great mix and you can tell that she really cares about you and your dog. It may seem like a lot of money, but it's really not, because you will get so many valuable lessons and solutions. The one that stands out most in my mind, is that dogs need mental stimulation. Julie gave me lots of ways to help him get his mind working. When I got home, for a week, I tried some of her suggestions for mental games. It was amazing, he got calmer and less reactive. That's just one example of our success. The most important one was that he became much better with our grand kids! We have lots of ways now to get him to be safe with them. If you're reading this and can relate, go ahead and make the appointment you'll be so glad you did! Julie is a natural and Pirate adores her!

He devolved into a frenzy of barking when any person, dog, bike, car, or even a garbage can was in his field of view. My vet recommended Ahimsa, which was absolutely no help. Haggis failed their Growley Class and thus was barred from any further classes. I did one on one training with them that was a complete waste of time and left poor little Haggis catatonic with fear. I never returned. The wonderful people at Portland Dachshund Rescue, where we adopted Haggis from, encouraged me to find a trainer who had worked with Dachshunds before, and or really understood how to help sensitive dogs. My hunt for a new trainer took over a year! But it was well worth the time and energy. When I contacted Julie I was hopeless and a bit frantic myself. We had to cancel vacations because poor Haggis couldn't tolerate anyone in the house except me and my husband. Julie was terrific! She talked me down off the imaginary cliff I was on and we signed up for the initial lessons. I warned her Haggis would bark at her the entire time, which he pretty much did. But Julie ignored him and kept talking to us over his barking. Haggis finally wore himself out and curled up at my feet throwing a stink-eye at Julie occasionally to reminder her he was watching her. Then a remarkable thing happened. Julie taught us a calming game for Haggis. She had us lead him through the basics while she continued to ignore his chuffs. After a few trials of learning the game, Haggis completely forgot about Julie. He was absorbed in the sniff game, which utilized all dachshunds's super skill: their nose! Haggis ran through the game eager to do it again and again. He approached Julie without barking and looked up at her wanting to play *with* her, instead. At the end of the lesson he jumped up on her couch and sat next to her, content with his new friend. Each class with Julie provided a similar breakthrough for Haggis. At the second class Haggis, bound out of the car, ran up to Julies classroom and barked to be let in. Haggis's affection never wavered for Julie, an neither did ours. WE learned valuable tools and correct training techniques to help Haggis overcome his fear aggression. Within months, Haggis stopped barking at people and let them approach to say hi. Dogs were still something he preferred to keep across the street from him, but soon he stopped barking like a frenzied Doberman ready to attack (I had two Dobermans and they were the sweetest boys!). I am grateful and astonished to say that with Julie's training and guidance, Haggis has no problem letting dogs pass him on the sidewalk and has made a few walking buddies in our neighborhood. Haggis, once the Horrible, has turned into Haggis the Adorable! And Julie Forbes deserves 100% of the credit. We are indebted to her forever!!!!
