Long overdue review. I was taking my dog here regularly from August 2024 to February 2025. In february 2025, I had gotten a text from one of the workers saying that my dog got bitten by one of the other dogs. When l went to pick him up, he had a puncture wound near his ear, and several scratches on his legs. I ended up taking him to the vet, and luckily he wasn't too badly injured. I contacted club dogfish asking for the other dog's owner contact information, to ask them to reimburse the vet bill. The worker told me to email them the vet bill, and that Josh would contact me. I emailed the bill, but a few days went by and i didn't hear from him. So I contacted them again, and Josh had said that he mailed me a check and that i should be receiving it. A few weeks went by, but I didn't receive it. So I contacted them again, but couldn't get ahold of Josh. the workers kept saying they would pass my message on. After a couple call attempts and an email, one of the workers told me that Josh would send another check. Again, a few weeks went by and I didn't receive anything. It should've been the other owner's responsibility to reimburse the vet bill, but it seemed like club dogfish was more worried about protecting the other owners and themselves. they handled this situation very poorly. I have not brought my dog back since. i would not recommend them

The staff here at Club Dogfish are all so amazing. I was referred here by my friend while we were visiting town. It can be stressful finding the right people to trust with your doggo while not in your home state, but everyone was so welcoming, warm, and generous with treats. My dog warmed up quickly here and it's definitely a testament to the love they showed him. They made the process an ease and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Club Dogfish took such good care of my little scottie, Nigel!! I called super last minute on a Thursday night to set up daycare for the following Saturday. Most of the other places I called required a trial day beforehand, and only did trials on weekdays M-Th, so they couldn't take him... Club Dogfish was extremely accommodating and the guy on the phone was so nice making my appointment!! My dog has been to other daycares & overnight boarding plenty of times, so we knew he'd have fun. I am so grateful to have found Club Dogfish! They allowed me to do an after hours pickup, which was very helpful since we weren't sure when we'd be back from our day trip to Tacoma.

We are new to the area, and have not yet met friends we can trust to care for our pups. After research, we decided to board them with Seattle Canine Club. They hadn't been boarded before (they were watched by family back home). We paid approximately $500 for both our 6yo mutt and our 2yo labradoodle to stay. Prior to having them boarded, we took them for a day of doggy daycare to make sure they were well acclimated. Based on the initial visit (5h play day) and the reviews, we thought this was a safe place for our dogs to spend the weekend. Unfortunately, it was not. We understand that they do not receive the same attention as they would at home as the staff is caring for multiple pets, but what occurred was essentially animal abuse. Our labradoodle, Luka, gets frequent ear infections due to hair buildup and moisture (common in doodle breads). We sent him with ear cleaner (twice per day, must be wiped out of the ear) and an ear medication to prevent bacterial growth or yeast. We had also ensured that his ears were plucked, cleaned, and dried before dropping him off. We also provided three copies of written instructions as well as verbal instructions to care staff. Upon pickup on Sunday, we looked inside Luka's ears to find that he had chemical burns inside his ear as well as on the outside of his ear - a sign that the ear cleaner and medication were not wiped out of his ear after being applied. Further more, Luka was covered in pee - his paws, his hip area, and his belly. I am not sure if this was his own pee, or pee from another dog, but he was not dropped off on Thursday covered in urine. We understand that dogs may accidentally pee on themselves (or each other) but AT A MINIMUM send the dog home at least rinsed off. Upon bathing him, the water was absolutely filthy. Had the staff called us and let us know that he was covered in urine and offered to wash/groom him - we would have paid any expense. However, no call was made. Not about his ears, and certainly not about the urine he was covered in. My other dog, Meeko, is on doggie prozac for anxiety. Upon drop-off, we provided them with 4 pills and instructions to give him one pill per day (only Friday and Saturday since we were picking up on Sunday and had given him Thursday's). Upon pickup, there were still 4 pills in the container. This means that he was without his medicine Friday and Saturday, and Prozac is something that needs to build up in their system to work. Additionally, we received one photo of each dog for the entire weekend (which I had to request). Seattle Canine Club provided absolutely atrocious care for our two dogs, and we will never visit this establishment again. Additionally, we will be sure to let everyone know about the animal abuse that occurs when you think you are leaving your pets at a 'safe' location."

We booked a grooming service and were clear with the front desk about our expectations. We selected a tier 3 shortness level haircut and explicitly requested her entire body to be trimmed -- including her head, face, and a lion-style tail (fluffy end, trimmed shaft). Unfortunately, the results were disappointing. Upon pickup, Pepper shook her body and an excessive amount of loose hair fell off, which indicated she was not brushed thoroughly after the cut. In addition, the specific areas we highlighted were not properly groomed, and the cut across her body is noticeably uneven. I have attached photos for your reference. While I understand this was her first appointment and the groomer was seeing her for the first time, I want to make it clear that Pepper is a very calm and cooperative dog who is easy to groom. There should not have been any behavioral challenges affecting the outcome. Given the quality of the grooming service provided, we do not believe the results reflect the price we paid. We requested a discount or partial refund for the visit, and have not heard from anyone. We followed up two more times and still nothing. We hope this feedback can be used to improve quality control and communication in the future. We will not be back again.

She sends me lots of pictures of my Rocky and Coco when she visits which gives me a lot of peace of mind. She also understands that my Coco likes to hide under the bedsheets (see picture, lol) and she doesn't try to get her to come out. She even leaves boxes out for Rocky when he needs to be entertained and plays music for them, too. Last week I had to leave town for a family emergency and only had a few hours to reach out to Julia. Nonetheless, she was available and took great care of my cats even when I had no idea how long I would be gone. It's really special having a cat sitter in an emergency you know and trust. I can't recommend Julia enough.
