Julia is just the best. I've used her as a cat sitter several times in the past and always been super happy with her services. She sends me lots of pictures of my Rocky and Coco when she visits which gives me a lot of peace of mind. She also understands that my Coco likes to hide under the bedsheets (see picture, lol) and she doesn't try to get her to come out. She even leaves boxes out for Rocky when he needs to be entertained and plays music for them, too. Last week I had to leave town for a family emergency and only had a few hours to reach out to Julia. Nonetheless, she was available and took great care of my cats even when I had no idea how long I would be gone. It's really special having a cat sitter in an emergency you know and trust. Words cannot express how much we LOVE Nate and Julia/Fluffybutts!!! Our pups are so much better behaved on walks and in general. Their daily walks have changed our lives as we do not have to rush home from work, and then we get these great pictures and see them on their walks/adventures. So we used Fluffybutts for a quite some time and were really happy, but as the old saying goes; if it is too good to be true, it is. Out last experience with them, we were told our normal watcher would be coming per usual, until a few days before we were leaving they cancelled and said "we are figuring it out". We were given someone else...and cool...it is sorted...until we get notifications from our Furbo that Fluffybutts left our dogs alone for over 15 hours. The owner apologized profusely and promised to make things right and we stupidly believed that. Well here we are again, giving them another shot and three days before we leave for my brother's wedding, after having this weekend confirmed for over a month, they have cancelled again. Seriously can't express how unprofessional this company is and how I hope they run themselves into the ground. Horrible customer service at the expense of someone else's pet. So glad I found Julia to take care of my dog Wynston when I'm not home. She has been a life saver. The best part of the day is receiving photos and stories of her visit with Wynston. She's super flexible with schedule changes (I've had a lot) and there is convenient portal scheduling. She does in-home stays for when you're traveling as well. Julia @ Fluffybutts is the best pet sitter I've ever had. Ive lived in several states and have had my kitties for over a decade so I've had a fair share of sitters. Not only is she great with my pets (as expected from a pet company) she is also great with me which is the sign of a good business person and caring personality. She is very flexible and a good communicator. I felt like I knew exactly what my babies were up to and had peace of mind that they were being taken care of. Some of the other reviews mention scheduling issues which happens in every business. I have not experienced this it in the 2 years I've been using Fluffybutts. I'd even argue to say I've definitely been much less flexible and have needed last-minute additional sitting on more than one occasion and they have always come through for me when my backups didn't. I recently moved away from Belltown to another Seattle neighborhood and leaving Julia was hard! Julia walked my dog, Samson, for over two years. She is a such a doll and Samson and my cat love love love love her so much. Samson is a real challenge -- he is 115 pounds dog and is reactive toward other dogs. I don't trust a lot of people with him, but I trust Julia 100% to treat him like her own, to always be mindful of other dogs, and to keep Samson safe. I could always count on Julia when I worked late to stop by and walk my dog and feed him and my cat at the last minute. Just a text and she was at my place in no time to care for my animals. Even with me living in a different neighborhood, I know that if I was in a bind, she would take care of Samson at a drop of dime. I loved when Julia stayed overnight with my animals too because she actually spent time at my home with my animals. I don't think Samson even noticed when I was away on trips! We've used the pet-sitting services of Fluffy Butts Belltown (FBB) on two occasions for a total of almost 21 days and we've been extremely happy both times! Both Stephen and Heather (the owners) are super easy to work with and have a deep love for animals so they know that pet owners want reassurance that their furry friends (in our case, our feisty little cat, Cleo!) are being well-cared for in their absence while on vacation. It's been very easy to work with FBB and one of the special things they do is send daily text messages with cute little pics attached of your pet in action (or in hiding, if they're feeling shy). We felt very comfortable leaving our cat in their care and we arranged for them to visit and care for our little feline twice daily while we were away. They kept things clean in our apartment, gave medicine to little Cleo, and even picked up any packages that arrived at the front desk of our condo! I've used the services of other pet sitters before and I have to say that Stephen and Heather are right at the top of our list of "special" pet sitters. They also have a booming dog-walking business in Belltown! We'll continue to call on Fluffy Butts Belltown for our future pet-sitting needs whenever we travel. It's been such a relief to find Heather and Steve to watch our dog, Boh on occasion. We've used their services for both daily walks and multiple overnights (a week + at a time). I can't say enough kind things about Julia. You can tell she truly loves animals, and our cats connected with her right away, even the one who is normally a little more skiddish with strangers. Her rate is slightly higher than some other petsitters we've used in the past, but she's definitely worth it! One of our cats receives medication so it's important to us that the petsitter visits in a certain time frame, and surprisingly that has been an issue with past people, but Julia totally understood my overprotective cat mom tendencies and was timely with her visits and gave detailed reports! We experienced a water leak just before leaving for vacation over the holidays and she was kind enough to check and make sure the leak didn't spring again while we were gone. 5 stars isn't enough to describe the top notch care the Fluffybutts Belltown team provides. Fluffybutts was recommended to me through my reputable dog trainer so I felt they could be trusted. Initially I met Stephen, (one of the owners of Fluffybutts), for coffee and for a trial walk with my dog, Gizmo. On our way out of the coffee shop Stephen bought another cup of coffee for someone. A homeless woman down the block sat cold and was bundled under some blankets. Sure enough, Stephen gave this woman the cup of coffee which provided some warmth to her. Clearly, this was no ordinary dog walking team. Fluffybutts is more than a dog walking company. They are a family of people and animals, with very gracious hearts who care deeply. The Fluffybutts team took my Gizmo for long walks daily; much longer than our agreed to 30 minutes out of the goodness of their hearts. The Fluffybutts team is generous, reliable and loving to the animals they serve. These daily walks were necessary for Gizmo and it brought me great peace of mind knowing my fur child was under their care. Gizmo was also cared for during a weekend while I was away on business. Again, I had no worry whatsoever knowing Gizmo was with them and I could focus my energies on work. Fluffybutts sent me daily photographs of Gizmo walking with the rest of the pack, having a great time. I looked forward to Gizmo's daily update and I appreciated their assistance in giving me ideas to train him. I recently moved to Denver and how I wish I could bring Fluffybutts with me. I can only hope that I find another dog walking team that is as honest and reliable as them. I highly recommend Fluffybutts; if you care for your fur child they are the ones for you. Stephen and Heather are wonderful. We started using Fluffybutts about two years ago, when we moved to Belltown and didn't have a catsitter. Our cats are high needs--they both require medications, often times multiple medications. Stephen and Heather managed their needs without any problem, and our babies were always happy and healthy when we returned.
