Xandra at Four Paws did drop-in visits for me during a four-day weekend to care for two cats. It was a great experience and the cats were relaxed and happy when I returned. To be honest, a lot of the magic is in the client wrangling. The product isn't so much "pet care" as "confidence that your pets are being thoughtfully and attentively cared for by someone that appreciates all their wonderful qualities." There's inherently a certain artifice to the detailed communication, the (high-quality!) photos of gamboling cats, and the kind observations. But boy, I ate it up, and I imagine most other people with pets would too. It's incredibly comforting to know that your animals are in good hands. read more

Four Paws Pet Care - Dog Walkers Near Me

We've hired 4 Paws on and off for 4-5 years for our wheaten terrier, Daphne. Xandra has always been an excellent communicator and a prompt scheduler. The caregivers have always been wonderful, especially more recently when we needed 3 walks in a day during our wedding. We needed someone trustworthy so we wouldn't have to worry about whether there was an issue on a day when neither of us would be available in case of an emergency. Everything went smoothly and Daphne was happy as she could be to have walkers and friends visiting her throughout the day. The update reports and photos are also nice for peace of mind. We wouldn't hire anyone else for dog walks or daytime care. They're excellent and reliable. read more

Four Paws took on its responsibilities when the cat-sitter's car had been broken into, thus depriving the sitter of any means to enter my home and take care of my two cats. Although this disrupted my travel, it was obviously not anyone--except the burglar--'s fault. So I appreciate that under these difficult circumstances, things went smoothly after a new set of keys had been made. It took a lot of legwork to do this, including meeting with my landlord to have the lock changed and getting new keys. Rochelle, the cat-sitter, was very pleasant and easy to deal with. I felt terrible that it had happened to her. I highly recommend Four Paws Pet Care. read more

The response from Xandra at the time upset me so much it has taken this long to formulate any sort of response. First of all - my dog always had regular potty breaks and insulin injections I just didn't trust you to do it initially. Secondly - the box barrier you referred to WAS NEVER PUT UP AT ALL BY YOUR CAREGIVER. Her eyesight was NOT FAILING - SHE WAS COMPETELY BLIND AND YOU KNEW IT. Your NEGLIGENCE lead to the injury that cost my dog her life. I don't want to see another response from you on here trying to save face for your company. It's insulting. read more

I scheduled overnights for our cat Banjo and completely misunderstood what the hours were. When I suddenly had to add other drop-in visits at the last minute Xandra (the owner) was patient with me and made it happen by doing the drop-ins herself. Jenna was the overnight sitter and was fantastic and attentive to Banjo! He loved her and seemed immediately comfortable in her presence. They are true animal lovers and so easy to work with. This is a great business and I highly recommend their services! read more

We have nothing but the highest compliments for Holly and Xandra at Four Paws Pet Care. They came every day to feed and spend very loving time with our cat, Sandy, while we were out of the country for almost 2 weeks. They even came on the several days when it snowed and the streets were treacherously icy. We would definitely use their services again in the future. read more

Sylvie and I love Four Paws Pet Care! Everyone is extremely friendly and very responsive. We have been having weekly walks with Four Paws, and we recently had our first overnight stays with them. I had a million questions, and they were very patient and responded to each one. My week away happened to correspond with my pup's birthday, and they made sure to pamper her with extra care while I was away. I don't think she even noticed that I was gone for a week! They make my pup's care a priority, and my favorite part of the day is getting a photo of my pup from her walk. read more

Four Paws is an awesome pet care service! I've been using them for at least five years now and would not entrust the care of my little angels to anyone else. They're a flexible, reliable and responsible operation where no detail is overlooked. The owner is extremely accessible and has been incredibly responsive when I've needed their services urgently. Plus, I love the photos and reports I receive after each visit (their walkers are experts with the iPhone portrait pics!). It's clear that Four Paws is filled with committed animal lovers and I can't imagine a more caring group of individuals for my dogs. read more

Four Paws is the absolute best. Malaika and Jeanie love my dog like he is their own. They are so caring and know exactly what your dog needs. I cannot say enough wonderful things about four paws. Outstanding company! read more

I've been using Four Paws as a dog walking service for six months now and I can't say enough good things about this company. My main walker is Mishal, but Julie, Jenny and Xandra occasionally help out when Mishal isn't available. The walkers always make sure to send me a short and sweet report of every single walk with pictures. My dog always looks happy and well taken care of in the pictures. It takes a huge weight off my mind to know that his walking needs are always covered, whether it rains or shines. read more

Obsessed with Four Paws. They've been walking my doggy for the last 18 months or so, and I've been delighted. I had one issue with a dog walker who wasn't locking my door when she left, and it was handled with the utmost care and respect. That could've been an issue that would have made me go with another dogwalker, but Xandra is so sweet and so respectful that I just couldn't leave. Our latest dogwalker, Jenny, is an absolute gem and my dog and I are both in love with her! read more

We are so happy with Four Paws! Their customer service is amazing, as are their walkers. It is so great knowing our little fur baby is in such good hands while we are at work! read more

I have never used a pet care agency before, but with recently relocating to the area we didn't have any close friends yet who could drop in to see our cat while we were away for the holidays. We appreciated the free meet-and-greet consultation, and Dawn at Four Paws was exceptional at making us feel comfortable opening our home to her and entrusting our feisty but fun-loving guy in her care. She had great communication and sent photo updates at each visit. She went above and beyond to alert us of an issue with water at our complex, as well as checking our mail and plants for us. We will definitely use Four Paws in the future and highly recommend! Thanks Dawn! read more

Have been using four paws over a year now, and they are the absolute best! They are excellent communicators and always respond to requests on the online scheduling system and emails very quick. I have always felt confident Cooper dog was well cared for and our home was very well secured in their care. read more

This is my first Yelp review! I often read reviews, but I've never felt so strongly about leaving one until now. Four Paws is the absolute best! My sweet babydog is my beating heart. I often wonder how I'm still able to survive when we're separated. Needless to say, not just any pet care service will do. I have a unique situation in which my work schedule is rather sporadic. No matter how frequently I need them, Four Paws always welcomes me with open arms and bends over backwards to accommodate my needs. That was not my experience with other local pet care services, so I am especially filled with gratitude for Four Paws. I was a dogwalker for a time and it was always really meaningful that folks would put their trust in me to take care of their most precious family members. Four Paws approaches their caregiving with that same exact attitude. They're not just out to get a paycheck, they're there to develop long-lasting relationships with their clients, both four-legged and non! I randomly ended up being home the other day when my walker came, and I got to see firsthand how ecstatic my pup was to see her. Zoomies for days! Everyone at Four Paws is extremely kind and very responsive. I know I'm a neurotic dog mom, but they've never once made me feel that way. They are understanding and patient and truly want to know all about you and your pet's needs. Because of how well they've taken care of us, I can leave the house feeling good because I know my little guy's in the best hands. Extra bonuses: They have an easy-to-use online system in which to schedule, pay invoices, and communicate. And they send pics of your pup when they're with them. I live for those! So don't give it another thought, get started with Four Paws today! read more

I love four paws. 5 stars doesn't say enough about this amazing group of people. We've been using working with them since we came to Seattle 2 1/2 years ago and with my travel my husband and I have for work, I don't know how we would get by without them. Our walker and sitter is Kate and she is wonderful. Diamond, our dog, loves her so much and she's become a definite part of our family. Xandra and Dawn are excellent at planning and responding. I didn't think I could ask for anything better. This past week Diamond hurt herself while I was at work, quite extensively and the care and support from Kate and team while we all help her recover I don't even know what to say. Diamond has lived in five cities and this is the best support we've ever had! Absolutely fabulous. read more

Four Paws pet care consistently goes above and beyond to provide the best services. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dog walking service. Fiona (my pup) loves her walkers (especially Shae). They send me a photo each time they walk her and I can tell she is happy. I have been using them since they went into business and they have never missed an appointment. This truly is a group of animal lovers who deliver a superior service. Thank you Xandra and team! . read more

We have been using Four Paws almost our entire time in Seattle. They are flexible, caring, and friendly. We feel like our dog walker is part of the family! read more

They take excellent care of our dogs regularly. We get both of our dogs walked a few times a week. Our dog walker sends us a post-walk update on the Four Paws portal, usually with a picture of the pups included. She also keeps us apprised of any goings on with the dogs or anything else in the house / neighborhood. The internet portal that Four Paws uses is also top notch. We monitor our walks, set our schedule and pay our invoices in one place. Very convenient and easy to use for busy people. We've had a lot of dog walkers in a few different place ... Four Paws is our absolute favorite. read more

Fantastic! We went with Four Paws after our friend recommended them and we cannot say enough nice things about them. Prompt, friendly, and they take great care of our pupper! read more

Four Paws is amazing. Every walker/sitter we've had has been nothing short of excellent; they've all been conscientious, communicative and loving. Our pets adore them: We have one rescue kitty who's very skittish, even with us, but she'll come out to get loved up by Dawn and Kayley! We trust them implicitly with the animals, the house, everything. Kudos to Xandra for creating such a FANTASTIC pet care service. We'd be lost without them and the peace of mind they give us is absolutely priceless. I truly cannot say enough good things about them and, trust me, I'm not a gusher. ;-) read more

I came across Four Paws Pet Care after I was referred by an uber driver of all people. I was new to the city and looking for some help with my dog and cat since I do travel and sometimes need help if I get stuck at work. I have been such a HUGE fan of them since the first appointment I set up. Xandra has been our go-to sitter and her love of animals is so evident so I feel good leaving my fur kids in her hands. From trips to just last-minute walks, Four Paws has always been able to help. Marisa helped us the other night with a short-notice walk and again, nothing but awesome service. I love that they send photos of our dog and cat when they visit. It's evident they are happy and being taken well care-of. I know I can count on them for anything and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a great local company to take great care of your pets. read more

We are so grateful to have found Four Paws! We have a 2 year old Boxer and a 10 year old Boston Terrier who we were needing to find mid-day sitters for. We had unique requirements as our Boxer does not do well with other dogs (walks), so we needed a trustworthy company that would come let our dogs out mid-day, play with them in our yard or in the house if weather is bad and put them back in their crates. Four Paws is the perfect fit for us. We trust them and our dogs love them. We get pictures and "report cards" after each visit and are able to have a consistent dog sitter for our 3 days a week schedule ( we were very worried about a different person each time using Wag or another service). We also love how easy their App is to use, and they respond almost instantly to our questions or scheduling requests. We plan to continue to use them each week and start using them for vacation pet sitting in our home in the near future. read more
