I and my cats Ryan & Sunshine have been clients of CTH since September 2023 and have had two…read moreseparate trips where they have visited our babies. CTH has 4 cat homes in our neighborhood who are clients and we all love them! Ben & Brooklyn are the sitters we have had so far, but there are more. There are so many great parts of this company that I can't pick just one. - The sitters really love and care for the animals! We have one cat who's such a ham and wants pets forever, and another who is more shy. They take the time with the shy one, and let her warm up to them which she eventually has! And they get just as excited about it as I do :) - You get text message updates after every visit with a play-by-play for the visit, and they include photos! It was something we asked boarding places for and they said they said "we don't do that." The pictures are especially nice. ** The photos attached to this review are ones that our sitters have sent :) - Scheduling is so easy. You just go online into the calendar on your account, and you can choose days, times (morning and evening, up to 2x/day), and length of visit. You can choose if you need medications administered as well. - They are transparent and absolutely fair in their cost. I've found it to be comparable to boarding, and the benefit is they get to stay home in their own environment and aren't kept in a small enclosure for so much of their day. - They're extremely kind, diligent, and careful, especially with our cat who's a runner when the door opens. I'm no longer nervous or feel guilty about going out of town because we can choose longer visits for our sitters; our babies will still lots of snuggles and play time!

They send photos of petting and feeding your pet after every visit, and describe what your pet did. Whenever I pause at the cost, I remember how safe, reliable, and conscientious they are, and I hire them again.

Thankfully we haven't had any emergencies, but even for ordinary communication about upcoming service, she usually gets back to me in minutes. - She leaves nothing to chance or uncertainty. She asks for a thorough profile on exactly how to care for Sushi, how to access our home, what to do in case of emergency, and more. She reads every word, asking for clarification or more details where needed. - Her online system and accompanying app is a very solid all-in-one place to message her, schedule services, enter relevant details, and pay bills. It's a nice change from janky text chains or Venmo requests. - She's willing and able to do things beyond ordinary pet-sitting. For example, Sushi receives daily subcutaneous fluids which involve a needle and IV bag. It took my partner and me a lot of practice to get that process down to a routine, and Aubbie picked it up quickly and does it expertly. And for all that, her pricing is very fair. I can't recommend her service enough. Hire her, you won't regret it!

SO GREAT! My dog is…read morea two year old, sassy, lab/miniature poodle cross. She got kicked out of Camp Crockett in 30 minutes because she snapped at another dog. I was HORRIFIED that they just kicked her to the curb without giving her a true chance to adjust. West Seattle Doghouse Daycare has been EVERYTHING opposite that experience. First off, it's small. It's owner, Carol, is SO responsive and kind. Right off the bat she let me know that there was a wait list and we would be placed on it. Lucky for us, they had someone who was moving out of state about 6 weeks after we were placed on it. I got impatient and took my dog to Stella Ruffingtons in the meantime. They treated her great there, but she didn't really like it. There were a lot of dogs there which was a bit overwhelming. At WS Doghouse, they slowly introduced her into the pack. She met each dog individually and they were really patient with my dog. My dog gets nervous and freaks out at times, but Carol could tell she wasn't aggressive, just nervous! I love that about Carol! She's a true expert! The service you are provided here is INCREDIBLE! Luna LOVES going there. We are more than happy to be a part of the pack. I can't say enough positive things about this place!!!!!!!!!!!

Trustworthy, knowledgeable and compassionate are a few words to describe this team. Kristin - the owner - is gifted with animals, she truly cares and gets to know them. She is observant and has made an effort to patiently work with my pup's less desirable traits. After only a few weeks in her care he was noticeably calmer around other dogs and she shared her techniques with me, even offering to join me on a walk to demonstrate. In addition to offering reliable - and reasonably priced! - walk or vacation care, Dog Star has been a resource for recommendations on all kinds of pet-related situations. Kristin saw us through the loss of one beloved dog with grace and understanding, I don't think we could have done it without her. The whole team seems to genuinely love their work and their work loves them right back, with slobbery kisses!
