Gloria is absolutely AMAZING and the most special person we've had the privilege of knowing. We first reached out to her when we adopted our 3 month old pit mix in hopes she could help us with reactive and anxious tendencies. From the first moment Gloria stepped into our home, we knew she would be able to help us better understand our pups needs and even helped us to communicate with one another. Adopting a puppy can be very stressful at times, Gloria was an important part in our journey of becoming a family. We've done 1:1 in home trainings, a walk training and even a dog park training and we whole heartedly believe Gloria was instrumental to our pups socialization (both human and pups). Our pup is now a part of the weekly dog pack and it's the highlight of her week, so much so that she automatically goes into her kennel in anticipation for the Gloria pick up! :) Gloria has continue to go above and beyond when it comes to loving and supporting our pup. We couldn't recommend her enough!! read more

Gloria is amazing. She loves her dogs sooooo much. We have seen such an improvement in our sweet Hattie Mae since she joined over two years ago. So much love. So much training. She runs a tight ship. And she's a dog whisperer- she understands all her dogs in a way others don't. So much love and peace and understanding. read more

Dog Trots - Dog Walkers Near Me

My wife and I just got our first puppy. We are an older couple so we wanted to make this experience a special one. We decided to seek out someone with professional knowledge to help us adjust. Gloria was a huge help for us and the pup. She taught us the nuances of dog training. We feel like we have a solid base of information to carry us months down the road. We hope to look her up months down the road for refresher. We highly recommend Gloria. read more

We love Gloria and Dog Trots! We've done in-home training for our one year old rescue, and she goes on adventures twice a week with Gloria. We got a lot out of the training sessions, and our dog just adores her! I know she's well looked after and well loved when she's on her adventures. As a neurotic pet parent I am never worried about her safety or wellbeing because I know Gloria has control over her pack. And because Gloria is also a trainer, I know my dog won't get into any bad habits when she's out with her. 10/10 would recommend! read more

We met Gloria for a personal dog training session for my very hyper 3 year old Boston Terrier. Our session was great, and many of the training tools have worked out well and we have seen results with consistency. He is a very excited jumper and barker. After meeting with her we decided to try her adventure group three times a week. She picks up and drops off which is so nice! We have seen great improvement with his behavior after going to the dog park and running when we aren't able to do that for him. Given the last few weeks circumstances with dog park closures and social distancing we are very happy to say that Gloria found a way to pick up and drop off with no contact so we could keep our dog active. It's pet curbside pickup! She is taking long walks with smaller groups of dogs together, rain or shine. It is very apparent that Gloria loves what she does and loves the dogs she works with. It's a nice feeling to have someone take great care of our fur baby that we love. I love getting photos and videos of their adventures. I highly recommend her services!! read more

It has been absolutely wonderful working with Gloria! Our puppy, and her humans, have done several in-home private training sessions with her and could not be happier with the results. Gloria is great at tailoring our training sessions to work on areas that we are most interested in addressing based on the unique tendencies of our puppy. Our puppy has shown great improvement after each of our sessions and she is well on her way to becoming a super well-behaved doggo...with sane and happy dog parents :) We would gladly recommend Gloria's services to any of our friends and family! read more

So unfortunately my review is not-quite second hand, but my mother is not a yelper so I'm stepping up to the plate. Gloria has been a major asset for my mother for years with her extremely high energy husky mix Siegfried. Three times a week Gloria comes and gets him, and three times a week he is the happiest ball of fur you've ever seen. When my mother had her knee replaced the lucky boy went every day! It's always fun to get pictures and to read her notes too, it helps keep the owner assured that their beloved pets are actually getting the time and care they deserve. Not only is Gloria great with the dogs, but I really respect her honesty. Dog parks are not always incident free, anyone who frequents them can attest, and rather than a 'what happens at the dog park stays at the dog park' approach, she's on the phone and keeping the owners in the loop. All in all, Gloria would be my go to person for any dog care needs if I ever found myself needing it, and that is saying something as my dog as a service dog is literally my world. Also, her art looks pretty fab. read more

Gloria's love and care of our boy Obi has been invaluable to our family. She has provided excellent daily walks and overnight stays that have displayed her expertise, kindness, and joy for our sweet boy. We consider her a huge part in making our family happy and healthy. We look forward to Gloria's updates and exceptional pictures, which she provides daily. Obi was recently injured and Gloria has gone above and beyond in providing him care and our family support, even going so far as to carry him in a sling to keep him connected to his friends. We can't say enough how grateful our whole family is to have Gloria on our team! read more

Gloria is amazing and our doberman puppy absolutely loves her! We first reached out to Gloria when we found out that she not only offers pack walks but is also skilled in dog training. Our strong puppy needed someone who knew how to handle big, excitable dogs and Gloria was the right person for the job! We were impressed by her in our initial meet and greet, and have valued her service ever since. She has tremendous passion for dogs, is patient with puppies and owners :-), and can be counted on to offer advice as needed on training, diet, and pet gear. Lastly, we love that she offers variety in her pack walk locations, so that pups don't get bored going to the same parks every week. We would highly recommend Dog Trots for anyone in need of dog walking services! read more

Dog Trots - Dog Walkers Near Me

I came upon Gloria following a very unfortunate event at our dog's daycare where he had gone for nearly two years. My husband and I were very distraught and unsure of what to think or how to proceed. I was looking for someone that could help us evaluate the situation and help us figure out what to do next. Gloria did some in-home training for us and then also took our dog Sebastian (a 2-year-old Bernese Mountain dog) out on her excursions with her pack. Our dog loved being at an off-leash dog park rather than in an indoor daycare and we saw a huge difference in his energy level (he became much calmer!). Although our dog didn't turn out to be a pack dog (he likes to run around and explore) Gloria's evaluation of Sebastian with her trained eye was very important to us - her confidence in him has helped give us confidence in him, which was especially important for us after the unfortunate incident that we had. Gloria is working to help us find the right place for Sebastian for daycare and boarding based on her evaluation of him and using her network of dog professionals. From the beginning, Gloria was very professional and we trusted her with Sebastian and we trusted her professional opinion. She communicates very well and let us know how Sebastian was doing frequently during the time she was taking him out on her pack adventures. We've been through a number of classes with Sebastian, but Gloria was the easiest to work with and the best teacher - great with people AND dogs which is not always the case! It's obvious that she really cares about dogs. In the future we would not hesitate to contact her for additional training or advice. We are so glad we found her and cannot thank her enough!! read more

I met with Gloria for a puppy-training session, and she was tremendously helpful. She gave me specific tools to help build a confident, respectful relationship with our puppy who's very mouthy and overstimulated. She also listened to my concerns and had great ideas. I'm looking forward to implementing her advice and feel more confident in training our puppy after the session. Thank you, Gloria! read more

Gloria is so great! She's basically the dog whisperer. She has been so helpful in training our puppy! Adopting a rescue during quarantine has been great, but with the lack of puppy classes, he was also lacking socialization! She gave us great tips for training and getting him used to other people, as well as obedience tips for home! Highly recommend! read more

I've known Gloria a few years, even long before I had a puppy. When sweet Cash came into our lives, I was told he was loud, small and lacked confidence. As he grew up, that lack of confidence even with early training started to become more problematic behavior- lunging toward people, getting really nervous with new people and forget it at my house, cujo! He's the sweetest snuggly bud but other people freak him out. I knew I needed to do something before things worsened. I decided to do excursions with Gloria knowing she had such a great reputation and was apprehensive about the cost and commitment as 1/2 day day Care was a slight bit cheaper. What I wasn't getting at camp was consistency, feedback or even tips on what was happening behind closed doors. Cash has become sooooo much less reactive and so comfortable with people I can't speak highly about Gloria's excursions, care and the PICTURES- holy cow she's amazing at documenting what the little babes are up to. We have since done some one on one training, which helped me tremendously and Cash has even done boarding with her, apparently he's human-like for overnights. I wouldn't choose another person to care for my dog now. He loves his pack, his girlfriend, all the extra exercise and the consistency. I think her rates could actually be higher for the personalized care she provides and if I could send him 7 days a week I would! Can't recommend her enough. And she's super sweet and a really rad individual! read more

Gloria is amazing with our dog!! Can't recommend her enough!! We took in our puppy as a rescue and she was very timid with people and other dogs. After a couple of months with Gloria's day adventures and 1:1 training she is a friendly, loving and confident dog now! read more

Gloria has been taking great care of my doggers for years now. I trust few others as much as I trust her. Her park trips generally only consist of a handful of dogs (making me feel assured that they won't get lost in the mix) - she picks them up mid-morning and returns them early afternoon. I have 1 ball-crazy swimmer and 1 goofball that prefers to stay by her side - she some how is able to accommodate their very different personalities, as well as the other dog's. In the summer, she even takes pictures of the packs and emails them - so cool seeing your dog playing and having fun while you're working... read more

Gloria is amazing. She's the only person i completely trust with my dog! Enough said.

Gloria at Dog Trots is fantastic. My husband and I used Dog Trots to watch over our rambunctious year old pup during the day, during our kitchen remodel. It truly was a life saver and stress saver. Gloria had the understanding and patience to handle our Lola, all while keeping a good sense of humor. We REALLY appreciated her assistance and would highly recommend her services. We will definitely use Dog Trots again. read more

Gloria has been terrific for my dogs and me. She is friendly and very attached to the dogs in her care. She's very communicative and provides personal notes about how the day went. Whenever there were issues, which unfortunately my dogs seemed to have, she worked hard to find solutions, like changing walking days. I've also used Gloria for boarding my dogs and feel very comfortable leaving them in her care. I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a dog walker. read more

Gloria is the absolute best. My 1 year old puppy improved significantly once Gloria started taking him. I had to cancel regular walks due to issues at work, but if I'm ever looking for dog walkers again I'll ask Gloria first. read more

We love Gloria! We boarded our dog Izzy for the first time and were concerned about leaving her. Gloria made us feel so good about it and treated Izzy like she was one of her own. Although our dog was happy to see us when we returned I think she missed being with Gloria. Gloria is such a kind and gentle spirit and has a love for dogs that is irreplaceable. I am so happy we found her and look forward to working with her in the future. read more

Gloria has been taking Anja to the park or walks for nearly 13 years. The bond between Anja and Gloria is wonderful. Over the years Anja has enjoyed walks, trips to the park and over-nighters with Gloria and the pack! She is the best and we love her! read more

I am forever grateful to Gloria, and so happy I had the courage to seek help for a very funny dog named Marci. I adopted an extremely energetic, 6 month old Westie from my 84 year old mother who had purchased her on-line. It was clear Marci needed to learn some basic skills, but I was hesitant to take her to obedience training because she had a problem with other dogs. I went searching on-line for private trainers and found Gloria's website, Dog Trots. Gloria helped me get Marci under control with basic training skills, and to improve her social skills, Marci also spent the summer going to the off-leash dog park with Gloria. Marci adjusted well and loved her time with Gloria and the other dogs, and I realized that I needed to be able to continue with the dog park on my own. This was something I had never done before, so we headed out there together, and Gloria gave me the tour, explained proper dog-park etiquette, and how to handle Marci off-leash. Now we go nearly every day, and if we are lucky enough to see Gloria at the park with her dogs, Marci has had a perfect day. read more
