:) If you are someone who is looking for a walker that you can trust and know that your dog will genuinely be taken care of, contact Nadine at Haven Hound's. I came to Seattle not knowing anything or anyone, and really feeling scared because I wanted to have someone that I can trust to take care of my furry pal. Having Nadine walk Nico has been not only beneficial for my dog to get out of the house during the day to go to the bathroom and walk around, but he is also gotten better at socialization with other dogs! Nadine cares about your dog, and having her services gives me so much security and a calm feeling, because I know that he will be okay and taken care of so well. I am honestly so grateful that I had Nadine to take care of Nico while I was at work. She leaves notes every day so that you can see how your dog did after work when you come home. A+++++! :) Thank you Nadine! read more

Nadine of Haven's Hounds walked our dog for nearly five years, until we moved out of the neighborhood. She cares a lot about the dogs in her care. She's also reliable and trustworthy. Our dog loves her and misses her, always came home happy and excited from her walks and was totally relaxed about boarding with her. read more

Nadine and Haven's Hounds are simply the best! I met Nadine during 2020 when I had a new puppy at home and was looking for opportunities to socialize and exercise my pup. And Nadine quickly became an integral part of our week. My pup Harper would hear the truck coming and knew it was time for her pack walks with Nadine and her furry friends. An fulfilled, happy girl would return...usually with some final zoomies to show me how much fun she had on her pack. When we added a new pup to our pack at home, Nadine was gracious to begin walks with both Harper & Baker. We loved seeing all the photo updates on the Haven's Hounds Facebook page. Although we've recently moved away, we fondly remember their time with Haven's Hounds and wish we could replicate Nadine in our new town! read more

Update: Molly still walks with Nadine on group walks. She has so much fun! She no longer barks or freaks out around delivery trucks. I love walk days. I tell Molly, "Today you get to go for a walk!" She gets so excited. I tell her the names of some of her friends and she starts jumping about. She is now 8 years old. I really feel Molly's quality of life is the best it can be. She has her doggie friends! Nadine writes in a journal what they did that day. Molly is happy and healthy! read more

Nadine is the most caring, reliable and sweetest with our 2-year-old chocolate lab, Baker. She has been helping us with her since she was an 8-week-old puppy. She creates a safe environment for Baker to play with other dogs and to get her endless energy out. She is flexible and accommodating with schedules and takes the best pictures and videos each pack walk. Nadine also has great tips and advice and helped train our dog to be a better walker without us ever asking. Baker loves her and so do we!! read more

Nadine has been walking my golden retriever, Duke, going on a year now. We love her. Duke wags his tail harder than ever when he sees her walk into the house to pick him up, and she always greets him with a treat. My schedule is always changing, and Nadine has been very understanding with last minute walk requests or visits to take Duke outside. The part I like the most is that she treats, and talks about Duke like he's her own dog. I feel comfortable knowing that Duke is in good hands with her, and that he will be taken care of while with her. We moved to Portland in January, and I sure wish we could have take Nadine with us. read more

Nadine is absolutely wonderful! She has walked our boxer Cash for over 9 months and he adores her as if she were one of the family. She is reliable and flexible, willing to work with you on your schedule and always has your pup's best interest in mind. Cash gets plenty of one on one attention and also gets to play with other dogs from time to time on small group walks and off leash play. Nadine is very trustworthy and respectful of your space, leaving it just the way she found it. She comes rain or shine and takes the time to dry off your dog after their walk (something greatly appreciated in rainy Seattle). I also love that she leaves you a short note everyday letting you know how the walk was or noting any other necessary details. If you're looking for a dog-walker in the Queen Anne neighborhood, I highly recommend Nadine Haven of Haven's Hounds! Pretty soon you'll be wondering how you managed with out her! read more

On a Sunday night last year, we unexpectedly adopted a puppy who was incredibly afraid of people. I called Nadine after finding her on Yelp and explained the situation. She knew exactly what to do, and came to let the puppy out three times per day until she could decrease it to two. But she didn't just let the dog out and leave. Instead, she sat with our terrified puppy and slowly developed a relationship with her, so that eventually, our pup was comfortable enough to go on pack walks with Nadine. When we got her, she would even walk down the sidewalk, she was so freaked. We believe Nadine is the reason our timid pup has become the playful dog she is today. Nadine was also incredibly patient with integrating our second puppy into her pack walk, even though he is a little tyrant!! Nadine treated our dogs like her own. And in a way, they are her dogs too now. We had to leave Seattle and are emotional about leaving Nadine. We know there is no other dog walker like her and that there won't be in our new city. Who else would sit with our terrified puppy for hours, take her on field trips, and single-handedly socialize her? Nadine is special. We are so grateful to her for everything she did to make our pups feel so loved and happy. read more

February 2014: I want to reiterate my praise for Nadine. I lost Shady in September 2013 and found another canine with my name on her back, Molly (aussie shepherd/afghan mix). Nadine's patience and gentle guidance has been much appreciated by both Molly and me as Molly has gotten settled after a very chaotic first 4 years. I trust Nadine implicitly and cannot imagine having a pup without her help. December 2012: Nadine is a fantastic resource and I count myself lucky to have her. Shady, my senior rescue dog, is much mellower when I return home from work on Nadine days. Nadine is trustworthy, accommodating and very reasonable. Not only does Nadine give my dog terrific midday walks, she also helps me with updates, information and guidance. Shady loves her. I cannot imagine using anyone else. read more

Nadine is a great dog walker. She is punctual, reliable, has reasonable rates, and is good with follow through if I sent an email or text inquiry. My little dog can be bit of a Donald Trump (but much cuter), and Nadine always had patience with his "bark outs". Nadine is a gem. read more

We are so thankful for everything Nadine has done for Maude, our Chihuahua-terrier mix. As a rescue dog, Maude has struggled with socialization. Under Nadine's care she has truly blossomed and now even has a few dog buddies of her own! We were heartbroken to discontinue our walks with Nadine after moving away from Queen Anne, since she's been such a wonderful caretaker and friend to her over the past year. We would recommend Havens Hounds to any Queen Anne dog owners looking for walking and boarding services. read more

Nadine is wonderful! My husband, my 4 year old goldendoodle Olive, and I moved to Seattle about six weeks ago. We were so excited to have Olive join Nadine's pack walks. Olive is beyond thrilled each day to see Nadine and her pack friends. Olive comes home from her walks with a huge smile on her face and sleeps the rest of the afternoon. Nadine is so incredibly reliable and punctual. I heartily recommend her! read more

Nadine was amazing to work with! My pups aren't easy to warm up to people either. She took the time and right steps to make sure they were comfortable in her care. I also loved that she always left us notes on how their walks went :) Highly recommend if you want a dog walker that actually cares about your dogs! read more

We absolutely love Nadine and would highly recommend her! Nadine has walked our dogs weekly over the last three years and she has truly been wonderful. She is professional, reliable, personable and great with our dogs, they adore her! Nadine has also taken care of our dogs (and our cat and fish!) while we traveled multiple times, and we felt very comfortable and at ease knowing she was taking such great care of our pets. I simply can't say enough good things about her! read more

We have entrusted Nadine with our pups for nearly 10 years and she has cared for them, loved them, and kept them safe the whole time! She takes time to understand special needs and situations - for example, when we adopted a new dog and he joined her pack, she made sure to acclimatize him properly to the rest of the dogs and made extra sure he was doing okay. As our oldest has become a senior, she has customized care - whether it be carrying her down stairs post-surgery, shortening walks during high heat, and even most recently creating a "senior pack" so that they can all stroll & sniff at the same pace. Nadine is extremely reliable, over the years I can't recall one day that she wasn't able to come for our scheduled walk. The only exception has been any vacation that she took and she gave us lots of notice as well as some substitute options. She is also extremely flexible and puts the pets first - we've had to cancel a few times last minute due to illness, vet visits running long, etc and she has been understanding and adapts. Finally - her rates are great, very competitive and you can be sure she'll go over and above. I highly recommend Nadine! read more

Nadine with Haven's Hounds is a true gift! She gives me peace of mind when it comes to the well-being of my pup, and that's priceless. Nadine is so kind, reliable and fun! I know she takes such great care of my dog, and she has helped train him since he was a little puppy during their time together. She's trustworthy, dependable and such a good friend & 2nd Mama to my puppers! If you are a puppy parent living in the Queen Anne area, please connect with Nadine - she's the absolute best! :) read more

Nadine has been walking our English Bulldog for months and she has been so happy and healthy with the extra attention! Our dog is sweet but scared of random things (grocery bags, garbage trucks, etc.) for no reason and her fears have really subsided since Nadine has been walking her. She gets time with other dogs to play and is always sleepy when we get home on walk days and sleeps well through the night. Nadine has been great for our family! read more
