The best part about this place. Well, hang on. There are multiple best parts. The staff is always welcoming and efficient. The lobby is always charmingly decorated for every holiday. They are usually busy with appointments and walkins, pretty steady customers coming in and out every time we're there. They never act rushed or bothered - the staff is always genuine and helpful. Our dog won't let us touch her nails so we bring her here and they keep up with it much better than we could. Thank you! read more

I have 2 senior doxies, one of them has some major joint issues, deaf and some sight loss, she can be testy if touched/picked up wrong (yes even with pain management!) and really dislikes her nails or feet being messed with. The staff at Posh have gotten to know her and are able to groom her without any problems, they book her for a bit more time so they can accommodate her needs. She always leaves happy not stressed which is important! And she is just too freakin cute with bows! read more

Kyla has been grooming my Havanese dogs since Posh Puppy opened. She is gentle and gives a great cut.

Hailey did an excellent job tidying up our girl. She was so kind and patient walking us through what to expect for her first groom since we adopted her. She is a double-coated Malamute and Australian Shepherd mix, so the fluff and shedding is no joke and was making for clunky clean-up during wet days at the dog park. She did a full sweep and made her look like a brand new pup! We were worried as she can be timid with baths and loud tools, but staff made her feel right at home to the point Selena was doing her rounds saying bye to everyone on her way out. Seeing the side-by-side of the first night we brought her home a few months ago to now truly shows the glow up. Thank you again! read more

I've been taking my shorkie girl to Posh Puppy since she was around 14 weeks old. We're on a 7 week schedule. All of the groomers are friendly and have always taken great care of her. It's been about 2 years and they always do a great job! Definitely recommend their services! My pup's not that fond of spa day but always comes out happy. read more

I couldn't be more disappointed with my first time visit. - they cut my beautiful yorkie's crown short, looks odd - and lastly, THEY DIDN'T clean his face thoroughly. All of this for $80!!! Glad I didn't leave a tip. Will never return and never recommend read more

I've been taking my fur baby Jameson (shih tzu) since he was able to have his hair cut and groomed! He's over a year and a half now! I would like to point out that my lil guy absolutely dreads getting groomed let alone a hair cut from day one!!! All the ladies there have shown great patience love and professionalism towards me and my baby! I've never felt as though they were annoyed in the slightest! They gently advise me what to do to make Jamie's visits more pleasant and prepare him! I would recommend them to any and all fur-parents! I truly trust that they love my Lil brat fur baby and I wouldn't change them ever! They're top notch at what they do! Very grateful moma! read more

Very happy with my service on my Australian Cattle Dog and Parson Russell Terrier. Very kind and they didn't rush the job. Both look like new dogs!! Thank you! read more

3 minutes ago NEW Lately groomers do not care what the customer wants for their pup. It's all about what is easy and quick for them. No listening skills just reiterating and justifying what they want to do as "in their policy." Pricing is as inconsistent as their service. I have paid anywhere from 70 to 120 for the same exact service. Always ask them pricing and what you are looking to do for your pup before making the appt. Not a posh experience at all. read more

Please Do NOT leave your dog with Nicole everyone else is great and really nice caring for your pet

Highly recommend this place. They treated my high anxiety lab with nothing but love. I felt extremely comfortable leaving her knowing she was in good hands. When I picked her up, she's never felt so soft. She was grinning from ear to ear when I got there. Prices are exceptional. I booked her next appointment and she offered me a complimentary nail trim in 4 weeks. I've found my local groomer and will continue to come here! read more

First time customers and already booked for our next grooming session. I was worried about how my puppy would react as this was his first time getting groomed. They were so nice and answered all of my questions about what to expect. When we returned to pick him up, I was provided with what they were able to do in a detailed explanation. Very happy that my puppy was in good spirits when we saw him! Would highly recommend! read more

My husband and I could not be happier with Posh Puppy! Everyone was extremely friendly and it's very obvious they care about the animals they work with. Our 2 samoyeds have never been groomed before, so we didn't know exactly what to expect. It's safe to say that any expectation we would have had would have been far exceeded. They are the softest and cleanest they have ever been! They trimmed up their fur just enough, but not too much (which was something we were concerned about, hearing some bad stories from other locations and Samoyed owners.) They were completely dried, brushed and nails trimmed so well. I could go on and on, we will definitely be returning here every time! read more

I have been bringing my very difficult miniature schnauzer to Kyla at Posh Puppy since October of 2020. She has done an amazing job of figuring out how to manage Gracie who is skidish, sensitive to noise and touch and can be snappish in fear. I so appreciate that Kyla has been given an amazing amount of effort to work with Gracie. I don't know what I would do without her! read more

I give five stars to posh puppy Normandy Park they deserve it. I absolutely LOVE this groomer. I found it because my groomer in Tacoma, Sabina moved here and I followed her because my dog LOVES her. after coming here for several months I've come to find that everyone working here is so good to the dogs and really takes good care of them. They are skilled at their job and so pleasant. it's clean and the dogs are loved. read more

I popped in to see if I could get my dogs' nails trimmed. Kyla was patient & kind with them, used a dremmel (SO much better than clippers!) & it was our first visit so it was free for all 3 dogs. I will DEF take my dogs back to Kyla for a full grooming appointment. read more

Haley took such good care of my puppy! I was so nervous, as it was his first grooming, and she was absolutely incredible! Haley took time to explain the entire process, made my pup feel so comfortable before taking him back. The cut, shampoo, and nail trim were all done perfectly, and the pup is so thrilled! read more

Loved this little local hole in the wall, i was on the hunt for a new groomer as I've moved away from my last one. Super friendly the second I walked in and very personable, they even gave my puppy's first visit nail trim on the house! They were extremely nice and I knew even my anxious pandemic puppy was at ease as she usually gets so nervous to the point where she starts shaking, but after leaving here my puppy was extremely happy and she was in and out really fast plus the groomer did her part in making my puppy feel comfy, too. All around a great experience, thank you for taking care of Lulu's nails and we will be back on a monthly basis. read more

Best grooming place ever!! Yoon and her stuff are the best!!! Very clean, friendly and modern place. My dogs loved it..... read more

I called and scheduled an appointment for Saturday the 4th two weeks ago. Showed up today and they are closed. They have lost a customer.

Yoon is the best groomer we've ever had in the 8 years since we've had our dog (since he was a puppy). Her work is meticulous and we've brought our dog to several different groomers and none of them can compete. Our dog is a 65lb Samoyed so he's large with a double coat. His coat is very high maintenance, sheds a ton, and admittedly, we fall behind on his grooming at home. When we've taken him to other groomers he would always come home with still a lot of undercoat that was not removed, so he would continuously shed even after we thought he was freshly "groomed". But when I take him to Posh Puppy, Yoon gets it ALL. With that said, she's very expensive and it's the most I have ever spent on my dog's grooming. It costs me $200 every time not including tip (I take him every 2 months) and my dog is kept there all day, from 9am-3ish. He gets breaks, of course. Because of the cost, I'm not sure if I can come here every single time my dog needs groomed, but if you don't care about price and just want quality, come here and see Yoon. read more

Wow! I had pretty high expectations based on other reviews and my expectations were exceeded! Brought in my two pups today for nail trim. One is very nervous about nail trim. Both had a very positive experience. Nails cut back to where they need to be and both pups happy afterwards. Hayley was fantastic with my nervous pup telling me afterwards - "she likes it when you sweet talk her"! Well, yes she does! Clean, modern facility. LOVE that the nail trim happens in the open space so I can see what is happening vs. other places where they take them "in the back" and I have no idea what is going on and my pup comes back terrified. Worth the 25 minute drive and we will be back! read more

I won't trust my pup's grooming to just anyone. Posh Puppy is clean, professional and they really care about their clients...especially the four-legged ones! On my first visit, I was impressed with how much time they took to ask me what kind of cut I wanted on my labradoodle...face, head, legs and body. My pup gets nervous when she first walks in the door, but the staff is super kind and do what they can to make her feel comfortable. If anything expected comes up, they will call me during the grooming and ask me how I want them to handle it. My pup looks amazing when she comes from Posh Puppy! I'm a regular now and drive from West Seattle...the level of service and finished pup is worth it! read more

Did a great job on my cat Chloe who doesn't like being away from home but is ever so happy after she's cleaned up!!

Simply put, Posh Puppy is the best. All groomers are not the same. Yoon, the owner, is by far the best groomer I've had in my 12 years of owning dogs that need grooming. I used to think that my dog looking ok, "at least he's clean," was good enough. Yoon showed me what a caring, talented groomer could do. She really loves my dog, and my dog gets excited to go to Posh Puppy. If you are getting mediocre grooming somewhere else, do yourself a favor and give Posh Puppy a try. Oh, and the space is spotless and modern. read more

Yoon is amazing! I was nervous when I first brought my dog to her who can be difficult to groom. My Sadie did so well and Yoon was so patient and kind. I have been faithful to her for a few years and only trust her with my dog. Her new salon is beautiful! Please go see Yoon, you won't regret her work! read more
