    NEVER COMING BACK to this store. After coming here to purchase black worms, I decided to take a look around to see what else they had. There were cats in small cages, their crickets were stored in storage bins and just laying on the floor. The meal worms weren't in the fridge and more than half of them were morphing into beetles. I looked at the axolotls and there were about 10 juveniles inside a small 10 gallon with their gills and feet nipped off. There were about a dozen birds in each case and there were feathers and bird poop everywhere. I just felt ver uncomfortable inside this store. The employees were nice, but just the disarray of items and animals everywhere made me feel so bad for them. The quality of black worms I received was very poor and highly overpriced. When I took the bag from the employee, there were leeches within the clump of black worms and the water was incredibly cloudy. For $9, I could have gotten three bags of black worms at a different pet store than a tiny meagre bag. Overall, this place gives me bad vibes and I will never be returning due to the poor atmosphere and quality of products. UPDATE: It seems that the owner has decided to accuse and call out false reviews to deem it as unfactual in stead of improving his own business. This is poor and unethical business practice as I was simply describing what I saw. It is not only my reviews that he as addressed as false, but other negative reviews. I have pictures as proof if he needs more evidence.

    My kids and I are doing research on axolotls and related needs, with the goal of eventually getting one. My son walked in with a clipboard and his notes, and we were clearly not just perusing...and also clearly first-time visitors, unsure of where to go. There were two employees behind the register and two others near the entryway, but none of them looked at us or greeted us. We looked at the rabbits and Guinea pigs near the entrance, but even during those few minutes, none of the employees acknowledged us. We made our way back to the aquarium area where two other employees were working. There were five of us walking around, talking about axolotls, yet were still ignored. We were in the store for about 20 minutes and though we walked past the register and other employees multiple times, it's as if we were invisible. Customer service is incredibly important to me, so that's why I'm giving this place three stars. Service aside, this store is well-stocked with all you need for a new or existing pet. We were really impressed with their selections, especially compared to other pet stores we've been in. We were excited to see quite a few axolotls (though one was upside down and floating near the top of its container). We'll likely return to buy an axolotl, but we'll take our business elsewhere to buy the rest of the things. I would rather give my business to a place that actually welcomes and acknowledges my family.

    This establishment sold me over a year old expired pollock fish oil. Unfortunately i didn't catch it until 9 days after I've been giving it to my poor baby. She threw up twice the first time i gave it to her and stopped touching her food. She's been on pollock fish oil and her kibble for months so i didn't think anything of it. I went back to return it and the incompetent of a manager showed no remorse for making my poor pup sick. I had also purchased bully sticks from here and not feeling comfortable giving my baby their products i wanted a refund on it too and she had the audacity to say she can't do that (along with her dumb excuse) and i corrected her by saying other pet establishments can why can't you. She then shoved the money into my hands so rudely. I'm truly shocked that this store is still open and how customers would want to purchase things from a unorganized, DUSTY establishment with expired items. EDIT (after owners response): I felt the need to give a yelp review even after the refund because the manager was INCOMPETENT and rude and if possible i would've given them 0 stars. Not to mention the refund does not change what my poor dog went through because there was no system to remove expired items off their shelves.

    Different celestial pearl danio ... clearly has some sort of spot on its side. Swimming funny as well.

    Just wanted to update this since the owner decided to reply. His reply did not address the issue of the sick fish. I bought six from this location and within less than 48 hours all six of them were dead. He did not mention following up about the quality of the stock or cleanliness of the tanks there. Sorry for your loss at 6$ a fish and having all Six die? No thanks And before he can come back n here claiming it was water quality, let me just let you know that a few days after all six of their fish had died I did a water change and bought 6 of the same breed of fish from a different store, none died. Fool Me once.... ok.... buy fish here again? I think not. You can keep Your apologies and I'll spend my money where I know the fish are healthier and cared for.

    My partner & I have been to a lot of pet stores but I have to say that Alyssa is by far the most knowledgeable & most helpful person we've ever had the pleasure of working with. I have a large aquarium I've had for about 8 months & for some reason we kept having things die. Alyssa was able to answer all our questions & now we have a thriving tank !! Thank you Alyssa for all your help!

    So glad I walked in this shop and met Steve. He helped me set this whole tank up in less than 30 mins.

    I brought my dog in last Thursday for a routine bath and brush. He was groomed by Joshua A. During…read morethe appointment, I received a call saying my dog was being "difficult" and was very afraid of the dryer. This was surprising to hear, as this is the first time I've ever been told my dog was fearful or difficult at a groomer. When he came home, he was acting a little off, but nothing immediately obvious. Over the next couple of days, I noticed he seemed to be in pain. Today, I took him to the vet and was told he has a tail sprain and back pain. I also learned that his anal glands were not expressed, which is something I typically expect as part of a grooming visit. I don't know exactly what happened while he was being groomed, but something clearly did. I've called the store twice trying to speak with someone and haven't been able to get anyone to answer the phone. I'm leaving this review because I'm genuinely concerned about my dog's experience and well-being, and because the lack of communication or follow-up from the store has been frustrating. I hope management takes this seriously and reaches out, as I'm looking for answers and accountability.
