We couldn't be more happy with our experience. Dr. Amy helped make a very difficult process much easier. She was calm, compassionate, and explained everything she was doing in great detail to make sure we understood what was going on. She handled our little buddy Oakley with care and made us feel comfortable throughout. Thank you Amy and Peaceful Pet Transitions.

Our beloved Sheriff

Peaceful Pet Transitions provided our in home euthanasia with the upmost care and compassion. Dr. Steve performed his assessment to assure us our decision was informed and confirmed we were making the right decision, then made sure to explain each portion of the process; proceeding at the pace we were comfortable with. Their services meant our beloved dog was able to cross the rainbow bridge with dignity in his home. While the process of saying goodbye was devastating, Dr. Steve made sure our family and more importantly, our Woody, had the most peaceful experience possible. We opted to receive mementos from Woody, having his fur, paw and nose prints has meant so much during the grieving process. His ashes were returned with incredible care and consideration. I cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. Steve and Peaceful Pet Transitions during this time.

In loving memory of our Ellie (2008 - 2023)

Dr Steve could not have been any more compassionate with our family if he tried. He was so patient and understanding - and came prepared with Kleenexes as helped us through our grieving process of saying good-bye to our four-legged fur baby, Ellie-Kitty. Our little Torti is a scrapper, but when her muscular frame drop from 8.7lbs to ~6 lbs in less than 10 weeks, we watched as her frail little frame become more fragile by the day. She started rejecting the sub-q fluid treatments and hated the medication for the hyperthyroidism. She had her good days and bad days and that's when we had to ask - are we putting our loved one through all this because we are being selfish or prolonging her pain ... we knew it just a matter of time. While your mind may know what the right thing to do is, it plays tug-o-war with your heart. Dr Steve assessed or little girl and reassured us our decision was timely which put or minds and hearts at peace. We knew then that we were doing the right thing. Dr Steve was very thorough about explaining the process and helped prepare our 8-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son, who wanted to be part of this journey, as to what to expect. Thanks to Dr Steve, our family was able to say good-bye to our four-legged fur child / sibling in surroundings she knew and that felt familiar and comfortable to her with the least amount of stress to her as possible. She wasn't stressed by having to be loaded into a carrier and taken to a sterile veterinary clinic with strange smells, and sounds. She wouldn't have to endure any more sub-q fluid treatments, hyperthyroid medication, blood tests, sitting in puddles of her own mess, and so on. Our Ellie was able to pass peacefully in my husband's arms, who was her person, surrounded by the sights and smells she knew were her family in her own home. Dr Steve even gave us additional time to hold Ellie afterwards and say our final good-byes. This allowed our children to have closure and helped them to process this painful life experience honestly and naturally. Dr Steve's patience and compassion made this difficult emotional situation bearable.

While no one wants to have to make this decision for their pet, I will be forever grateful for Peaceful Pet Transitions (PPT). When my heart dog, Bonnie, was diagnosed with stage 3 Lymphoma I immediately started to look into at-home services so that we had a plan in place, and PPT was recommended by her vet. The customer service reps were always quick and helpful to respond to questions and help with scheduling when the time came. The morning the vet was scheduled to come, I had a talk with Bonnie that a doctor was coming to help her pain go away, but that she wouldn't be here with us anymore. When Dr. Steve arrived, she perked up for the first time in weeks. When he sat on the couch to walk us through the process, she walked between his legs (never does that with strangers), finished her bowl of food, then asked get on the couch, and laid right next to him, as if letting us know she fully trusted him to help her. That experience has helped me find comfort in knowing she was ready and we didn't let her suffer. Dr. Steve was so patient during my emotions and gave us a beautiful little jar with her hair clippings, ensuring he carefully maintained the integrity of her special little freckles for us to enjoy in the years to come. We had to make this decision 2 weeks before Christmas, and PPT helped me get Bonnie home in time for the holiday and that meant so very much to me. If you are in the unfortunate position of having to say good-bye to your beloved pet, please feel confident in choosing Peaceful Pet Transitions.

Unmei; we're going to miss this little cat. Having her last hours play out in her home instead of The Most Hated Place (the vet's office) was a mercy that Unmei deserved. And the doctor was kind, compassionate, and there for us.

A terrible event to experience but everyone was so kind and sympathetic during our dog's transition.

After combing through countless reviews of Dr. Matt Slentz, we scheduled an appointment with him this morning for our puppy's (Leo) final puppy visit and vaccinations. Dr. Matt exceeded our expectations. He has wonderful bedside manner, is incredibly informative, and--just as other reviewers mentioned--remarkably generous with his time. He made sure all of our questions were answered and even covered general puppy FAQs we didn't know to ask. His delivery was straightforward and upfront, providing honest professional opinions without sugarcoating, which we truly appreciated. During the visit, our puppy had an accident in the exam room. Without hesitation, Dr. Matt immediately grabbed paper towels and cleaned it himself, without gloves, while the veterinary assistant stood by. That moment spoke volumes--demonstrating genuine care, humility, and a willingness to step in without concern for appearances. He also noted that hand nibbling (as distinct from biting) is consistent with normal puppy developmental behavior and allowed our puppy to nibble on him during the exam, which was reassuring to observe. It is evident that both Dr. Miller and Dr. Matt hold their veterinary oath in the highest regard. Knowing we can trust them brings immense peace of mind when it comes to our puppy's care. This practice should have been a five-star experience based on Dr. Miller, Dr. Matt, and the front desk staff alone. Unfortunately, a **detached, impersonal, and indifferent interaction with Madden--marked by a lack of empathy and engagement--**overshadowed what they truly deserved.

Sometimes there are delays with the vet coming in when he gets backed up with something else. I had trouble getting someone on the phone when I initially tried to make an appointment and left a message that didn't get returned but otherwise they have been great to work with so far.
