The employees here are very rude, last time we went the employee named Becca was very rude because she disagreed on the training colar we were purchasing for our dog. She made us feel very uncomfortable and gave her advise and opinion when we did not ask for it. She made a huge scene in front of other customers and we will definitely never go back to this store. Sorry excuse of a pet shop. For one their silver dollar fish I bought from there were completely infected with ich. And infected my tank. Shame on me for not checking them before I bought. Was completely livid when I had to return to their store for freaking ich treatment. I then contacted their corporate office when they were so quick to completely refund all my purchases for the treatment and fish. Then offered me a 20% off any $200 purchase I made there. Their tanks and reptiles and birds are so completely over priced. But their dog stuff isn't to bad. Would definitely support a mom and pop shop over a corporate business anyday read more

I love PetSmart. Because its a pet specialty store, you're not going to find the lowest prices here. What you will find is helpful, friendly employees, a very clean store with no animal odors, and a fantastic selection of quality products. Higher quality pet foods that you won't find at Walmart or the grocery store will be found here, and there are foods available for pretty much any dietary need your particular pet may have. Had the best 1st time grooming experience for my fur baby today. I was hesitant at first to leave him but Laura stepped in and made me feel so comfortable. She made me aware of everything they would do and all the great promotions you offer. She really made me feel like she went the extra mile for my pup even though I'm sure she treats EVERY pup this way. I'm so grateful for her and lucky i found my new dog groomer. WARNING FOR NAIVE AQUARISTS. This store is a convenient location for me, but four out of five visits are unpleasant for one reason or another. I'm an aquarium enthusiast, and the products here are enticing and beautiful, but something is really wrong with the fish keeping part of it. I bought seaweed and got an awful infestation of snails, took me months to get rid of them. Then bought a soft ornament for the fish tank and ask the tall, dark, male employee if it floated up when in the water. He immediately took it and stuck it into a tank with fish in it to show me how it looked. When I got home I washed it in clear water in case there was any chemical residue on it, and put it in the tank. A week later it was full of snails. FULL. NASTY. read more

First I love Petsmart. I took my dog in to get a bath and was surprised to see Ryan in grooming as he's usually been in the fish department. Pros: I can take my dog (& other animals) here, which she loves. I can get all my animals supplies in one stop! Staff is really helpful and friendly! Shannon in pet care knows everything about everything. The groomers were helpful in addressing my questions. Order online and pick up in store seemed like a great idea They also said I can order in store from the warehouse and not pay shipping. Cons: When it's busy, it's busy. There aren't enough people to go around. You end up waiting as the cashier calls and calls for assistance. Some of the animals don't look well in terms of health. read more

The grooming department they need to fire two of their employees very rude and no personality what so ever they should not be allowed to be around animals ,My 7 pound chihuahua was so scared of them this has never happened before I have been taking her there for over a year and never had a problem .Well today that changed she could not trim my dogs nails and couldn't finish because they said my dog wanted to bite them which was not true she was moving around and did not feel comfortable I should of known something was wrong as soon as she started to pet my dog she peed on the floor ,that was a sign that I should of left the other women that I know that work there are so sweet but they were not there I should of just left . This review is for the dog trainer on staff. Cathy has made herself available to patiently answer my million and one questions as a new dog mommy, even prior to me getting the dog. I had a dog as kid, but didn't have to go through most of what I'm going through being totally responsible, and back then, people would just get a dog and tie it up outside. Not much responsibility there. Getting advice from Cathy I'm getting used to my new responsibilities, and my little girl is getting the hang of the potty training even before she has started the formal training.We will definitely be front and center for training soon enough. This is one of the best petsmarts in the AV, I go here to buy all of my fish which they usually have very good sales. The only bad thing is that sometimes most if the tropical fish have ick but you just have to make sure there healthy when you buy them so that the infected fish don't get others sick. When you go ask for Shannon she has the very best knowledge probably the most knowledge about fish than any one else in Southern California with my expierence with her. read more

Good for dog food a little expensive on some items great place for dog training and get the dog tags and grooming

So I took my 9 month old yorkie there for his first professional grooming today after I tried to groom him myself and realized that I was in over my head. I was never nervous about leaving him and how he would look when I got back. All of the dogs that I saw coming out were shaved and I wanted to keep him in a full coat. I brush him daily so I was surprised to find that he was matted around his bottom area but the groomer Lindsay said that she would try to brush it out. I was very happy with her because most groomers would usually say that he would need to be shaved (Ive had yorkies before). Too make a long story short he came out looking adorable and I couldnt be happier. Lindsay did a great job and she even worked on him for over 30 minutes after closing. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. read more
