My Bernadoodle puppy and I have been working with Katie, and she is so great! Our puppy is large and was fairly out of control before we started working with her. Katie is amazing. My puppy spent 5 weeks with her when he was 4 months old. She potty trained him and crate trained him she also socialized him with both people , dogs and other animals she has at her ranch She taught him commands and also took him to the market and shopping. She also taught him how to walk on a leash. I went there multiple times so she could train me as well and trained us together. When he came home her training made it so easy for me because she did a fantastic job and my job so easy. i still call her often for advice and she is always available, sweet and willing to help me which is a blessing. I'm a first time pet owner. Though my husband has had dogs before. Our little guy was rambunctious and completely difficult to manage. I didn't know what to do. We talked to a former client of Katie's who left her puppy with Katie for four weeks, and gave rave reviews saying that Katie's amazing. Extremely knowledgeable about pet nutrition and holistic remedies for health problems. We learned so very much from her. The first day we took Finn to her he was scared to death of her horses and she held him on the back of one of her horses. Within five minutes he was petting her horse and completely comfortable around the horses. Her two Aussie dogs were wonderful with our little guy. So very patient as he annoyed them, as much as a puppy can do. They have become his big brothers. He learned a lot of socialization from playing with them and from her cat. She knew how to train him and desensitize him to new animals, loud noises, and socialize him with other dogs. I learned how to walk him and so much more. We've just brought him home, and he is a completely changed puppy. He now responds to commands such as sit, down, wait, let's go, and off. He no longer jumps on me nor does he try to mouth and scratch me. He is a joy to walk. Thanks to Katie we have a very happy, well behaved four-month-old puppy who is a joy to be around. Katie put him on a raw diet. We knew nothing about this. He was basically skin and bones when we brought him to her and he is now a healthy robust Puppy with muscle on his body. Willow came into my daughters and my life in December. I am a full time mom, realtor, and business owner and my daughter is a full time student. We adopted a terrific Australian Shepherd rescue from Katie. Katie trained us (the owners) in how to feed and care for our dog. We adopetd three Australian Shepherds (at different times of course) from Katie. Part of the adoption agreement was to complete a six week obedience class, holistic treatments for any health issues and raw feeding. We live about a hour and a half away but decided to participate in Katie's six week class. The first session was focused on food and the benefits of raw feeding once I understood what was in kibble and off the shelf treats I was horrified. There were about six of us in each class..classes were focused on individuals and the group. Once class was over we had a socialization period where all the dogs had a chance to play together. Graduation was a blast but competitive. There was a table of food and your dog had to do a down, or a sit and had to stay while each person got a plate and food and then came back to the starting point and released your dog. It was timed. I also took her advanced class which we did at skateboard parks, while kids were playing basketball, football, riding bikes and skateboards. Graduation was held at the annual Almond Blossom Festival near the front gate. We drew crowds that watched us go through our exercises and then wanted to know when our next show was! We now have three raw feed, holistic, well mannered and very loved Aussies. read more

I inherited a Labrador nine years ago and somehow found Pawsitive Performance for puppy training classes. Classes are managed to help each dog and owner.
