A 3 yr. old toy Fox Terrier I'd adopted from our local Palmdale shelter sorely needed basic obedience and leash training. Searching online, I was fortunate to find Smart Dog Training School in Palmdale and discovered that Gonzalo was part of an excellent team that ran a training program I'd used many years earlier in the San Fernando Valley. Boy oh boy, did I luck out!! I visited my furry new friend nearly every week while she was being trained, and it was quite obvious she was progressing very well, AND she was so very comfortable and happy with her temporary boarding home as well as her trainers. Little Gypsy is now back home with us and fully trained. Gonzalo and his team are top notch -- well beyond a five-star rating!!!

I boarded her with him for about two months, and she came back like a completely different dog calm, obedient, and well-behaved. It was honestly the best investment I could've ever made. She's six years old now and still behaves amazingly thanks to the foundation he gave her. Gonzalo is also very flexible and always lets me board her when I'm out of town. Every time she's dropped off, she's well groomed and smells incredible unlike other places I've taken her. I highly recommend him!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly and genuinely greeted by the owners, who are absolutely AMAZING people. You can immediately tell they truly care about both the pets and their owners, and that kind of energy is rare. I brought in my 4 year old Frenchie who was shedding like CRAZY, and I honestly didn't think anything could fully fix it but they proved me wrong. When I picked him up, I was completely blown away. The shedding? GONE. His coat looks flawless, feels incredibly soft, and he smells SO good. Like... I can't stop hugging him now They went above and beyond in every way possible. The attention to detail, the care, the professionalism everything was top tier. My dog has never bit anyone. Second of all, at 6:00 someone else came in to get their dog and they said that their appointment was at 2:30. So obviously, they overbook and then they try to come up with some BS excuse as to why it's taking so long. Also, I'm a parent, I understand having kids and having that struggle. But you should not have your 4 children running around your groomer with animals running around, sharp objects, and other hazards. That's a risk to your kids health. And the haircut looks like shit. 10 out of 10: worst groomer I've ever dealt with. Edit: the owner proceeded to attack me through social media after I commented an HONEST review on their Instagram. They also blocked me so that my comments don't show up on their paid ad videos. Such a classy place!

We were struggling trying to find ways to get his energy out but most importantly getting his brain stimulated (he is a very intelligent animal). I have been taking him to Socal herding every Sunday for the past 6 weeks and I have noticed tremendous change in his behavior both there and at home. He is calmer, happier and more well-behaved. Ted and Chandra, who run SoCal Herding are incredible at what they do, mostly because they genuinely care about what they are doing and care about your pup having the most successful experience. Can't wait to see how much Kai improves in the future as we continue to go every weekend. So happy Kai and I get to be a part of this wonderful community.

Our crew needed some very specific moves from the dogs and the sheep and Ted nailed it everytime, without even a warm up. Chandra worked with us before we needed the herding to get the sheep and horses to perform and again, each go was perfect. Their passion for handling the animals shows 100%.
