Just had my little pocket blue-nose Pitty, Xyia, stay 4 nights at the Stephanie Street PetSmart location. Great service and the morning manager there today, I believe her name was Vanessa? I'm not for certain, bad with names. She was the most helpful and took personal time out to show me different items and I exchanged my experience with Xyia as her being a power-chewer and going through toys in seconds at times. Gave her my personal top recommended toys they have and she appreciated the feedback to further her amazing assistance with extra specificity to the niche of power chewers, like Xyia. Overall great service! Only suggestion, make the phone lines a bit easier to get to the specific hotel or have a direct line, I had to go through 4 different wait times to get to the right extension. Only thing to improve in my opinion. Otherwise, I will be back to the location when needed for my travels most definitely! read more

Terrible service today. We brought our puppy for his second grooming at this location, he was scheduled for an appointment with the same lady, Hailey. What they failed to inform us on was that Hailey is no longer working there and they took it upon themselves to change our groomer themselves to some guy named Nester G. This man mistreated our dog and had the audacity to say it was all our dog's fault claiming he was impossible to work with which is impossible considering Hailey told us he was an "angel" to work with. This man was clearly ignorant which was apparent when we tried to tell him that it couldn't be our dog's fault and that we were misled thinking we were leaving our dog with Hailey since that is who we left our appointment with. He did not let us speak full sentences, he kept interrupting and cutting us off every time we tried to say something and continued to blame our puppy for his unprofessional approach with our pup's grooming today not to mention he had a nasty attitude the entire time. Then to make things even worse he tried to charge us before giving us our dog first. When he finally gave our puppy back our poor dog was trembling vigorously which mind you, he did not have that same reaction the first time, he was perfectly okay when he was groomed by Hailey and he was happy to see us. I don't know what that Nester G. man did to our dog but he left our dog scared shitless. And to top it off Nester G. did not complete the full package service we asked for and only bathed and brushed him but failed to reflect that on the price we were getting charged. He claimed he was only going to charge us for what he did but when we went to the cashier we noticed that the price was extremely high for a simple bathe and brush that we could do ourselves in 20 minutes. If we hadn't caught that in time we would've been charged more than double of what we should've paid. We will never bring our dog back here again and that Nester G. should get fired. read more

Went to PetSmart today to look at puppies, staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us look at a miniature Aussie. The dog was so cute and he warmed up really fast to us. They helped us with the application process which was easy and fast. We were approved and she even helped us with deciding what was best for our new family member. I definitely recommend PetSmart 10/10. Overall Arielle was such a kind warming employee. She made this experience great for us. read more

I have taken my dog to various Petsmart's since she was a puppy. She visit the groomer every three weeks. I take her to Petsmart groomers where ever we happen to be. There is a tremendous amount of similarities between all Petsmarts. I believe that familiarity settle my puppy down. be groomed she is groomed every three weeks. Because I travel full-time and I'm retired my dog has been to many different locations of Petsmart stores. I have never had a complaint until today. My complaint is on the Stephanie address Petsmart groomers. In good conscious I can not warn you to not let your dog be groomed by Tammie. Tammie's personality and style resembles Attila the Hun. After 2 hours, I called in to get an estimated time of arrival. She refused to give me one, and screamed at her co-worker for asking in my behalf. I didn't like it. My recommendation is to not use this groomer. Good luck. DAK read more

They no longer have an overnight attendant & for safe reasons my dog will no longer board with any petsmart hotels.

I have taken all of our dogs and cats here!!! Debby has always done a great job on our cats and dogs. Nestor is the best!! He does all of our dogs large and small. He takes great pride in his work and it shows by the way the dogs look when finished. We will not let anyone else touch our dogs. Theresa is very good also. She has done our small dogs when Nestor has been on vacation and has done a great job. Love the 3 of them!!!! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great groomer. read more

The employees aren't trained right. Spent 15 minutes with cashier who couldn't figure out how to redeem a gift card. He refused to ask for assistance, until a manager stepped in. Maybe they yell at the employees and he just didn't wanna get in trouble. The following week, same thing with a different cashier. She couldn't figure out the gift card redemption, and kept giving me the card back asking me to pay a different way. she refused to ask for help until a manager stepped in! Also, prices on their website are cheaper than in person. You have to check every thing online before you get to the cashier or they will charge you the in-store price versus online. Pretty shitty way of doing business read more

Not great for pet stuff. Could be better. But the Banfield on site is awful. Stay away.

Before and after my beautiful cat was taken to this place. He had some matted fur on his back and I told the lady to only Shave the parts that were needed (it was a very small area) and she shaved him into a lion cut. On top of that she cut his skin SO bad, and blamed me and his fur being matted and it pulling at his skin. I took him to my vet immediately (not banfield, I would not trust them to even check up on my pet) and they said there was no way that was from his hair being matted. This was from ROUGH AND UNTRAINED GROOMERS!!!! Nobody take your cats here!!!!! He has not been the same since. Take your cats elsewhere. It is not worth the trauma for your animal to go here. read more

I've always taken my doggos to PetSmart's Grooming. But this is the first review I do for the grooming salon. WE ARE BEYOND HAPPY!! Our quarantine puppy got his first haircut and I honestly didn't expect anything beyond maybe a trim because it was his first cut. But wow! NESTOR did such an amazing job on Cosmo! Everything I mentioned to him he took into consideration and he hit the mark on everything- he listened patiently and welcomed Cosmo very warmly! I will continue to come to PetSmart like I have for the last 10 years with my other dogs but I will definitely request Nestor to take of my doggos. Thank you Nestor! read more

Dude.. so the groomer said my dog would be done at 6:15 and when I went to pick her up, I went the wrong way because I didn't drive to drop her off. When I found it, I went into the grooming salon and no one was there. I called for someone and then called on the phone and no answer. I went out front and asked where my dog is, the lady said the groomers leave at 6. I told her they told me 6:15 and I went the wrong way so it took me a few extra minutes to get there. Why didn't someone call me? Why would they leave her? Did she even have food or water? How disturbing that they just left her! read more

5/5 for the Pets Hotel! I took my blind cat to stay with Pets Hotel while I went home for the holidays. I was nervous to leave him alone since I've never done this before, but the staff made me feel much better right off the bat. You can really tell how much everyone in the kennel loves all the animals and I felt like I made a great choice in where to leave my buddy. When I picked him up they told me all of the silly things he did while I was gone and how much he was making them all laugh (he's definitely a character, he's more like a dog than a cat). It meant a lot to hear that they all got to know my cat while he was there and I felt like they took great care or him and gave him lots of attention. I now feel comfortable going out of town for a few days because I know my special needs buddy will be not only in great hands with the staff here, but also will be a cat they look forward to seeing again for the laughs. Thank you all so much for taking such great care of everyone's pets! read more

I've had my dog for 6 years and I've always took him to Petsmart however this last visit was just awful. He was seen by Debra D after 6 hours and me finally calling to check on him they said they were finishing him up right now. Get there they said he's not done yet ? So I shopped around and then at this point it's been 40 minutes since I called so I'm thinking he has to be done now. Went to get him and they tried giving us 2 other dogs before our actual dog. He was still covered in other dogs fur , no handkerchief , and there are 3 spots that are cut so ridiculous short I know he was in pain. We specifically said DO NOT cut his fur short as he is Lhasa apso/poodle mix . I paid $97 and my dog is almost completely unrecognizable. read more

If there's possibly a way to leave negative stars I would !! This review is directed towards the veterinarian services provided thru Banfield at petsmart . BEWARE .. they are awful , understaffed, and could care less if you dog is kenneled for 6-8 hours . Mine ended up getting sick with a virus while in their "care " . Ohh and don't be fooled into signing into their "wellness " program - it's a total rip off ! Although I could go on and on about the horrible experiences - when your dog does need an appointment plan on a 2-3 week wait - wether it's urgent or not . I highly recommend staying far away and finding any other vet in town !! read more

IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR PETS WELL BEING PLEASE READ! THEY CAUSED MY DOG BLEEDING and DID NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. Where do I begin? I guess I'll start with paying for Grooming service & dog food while waiting for my puppy to be finished getting a pawdicure. This location has never let me down more than today! I'm a local frequent customer. Steph was completely unhelpful at cashier. I always use digital manufacture coupons for my dog food they always scanned it previously and never had an issue, today Steph refused to scan my coupon stating they don't accept digital ones & they need to be printed and basically implied that I was lying. SHE could've honored it and maybe suggested an alternative but had zero customer empathy. After I pay for service & items I pick up my puppy on the salon end. Since they said it will only take about 5 mins. I am HORRIFIED! My dog gets handed to my husband with bloody paws! Groomer asks "is this okay?" I replied "well he's bleeding..." she turned bright red! She then said " Yeah his nails were already short." So I asked " In your professional opinion if you thought his nails were already short why did you proceed to cut his nails instead of telling us? Why didn't you bring it to our attention? I thought they were long ." She had nothing to say! her co-worker heard the concern in my voice and took over by trying to mend my dogs bleeding with clotting power. Nobody answered my question, and nobody told me what to do to to help care for my dogs wounds. This has NEVER HAPPENED before at this location. I understand mistakes happen but this was completely unprofessional and so scary for new dog parents. I felt so sad and uncared for as a client. I left in tears, my husband then went back inside to get a refund. They could've made things right by offering a refund themselves or even apologized with informing us on how to care for him. But instead no words were exchanged and no questions were answered. I had to call my brother who works at another petsmart grooming location to ask him how to care for my dog. So disappointed. read more

If I could leave this location a 0 stars, I wish I could. I dropped my 1 1/2 year old Husky at their doggy day care. First time they told me he was not up to date on one of his shots. He came from the Animal Foundation. How in the hell are they going to adopt a dog out without giving them all their shots? The idiocy astonished me. I argued with the lady at the front that he was up to date with his shots, the paper was right in front of her. She kept making snarky remarks and insisted that he wasn't up to date. You don't think I know if my dogs vaccinated or not? Come on. When I came to pick him up, they told me he was in a time out due to humping. I know he does that, he is a puppy and we are working on him not doing that. Never did they say he was left in his kennel for the remainder of his time (I don't even know how long he stayed in the kennel up until I came to pick him up.) Today in fact, I didn't want to take him here but all other daycares were booked, I tried calling them when they opened. I was on hold for 15 minutes. I then tried to call again, still no answer. I didn't want to walk in without an appointment, but I had to in this case. As soon as I walked in I was met with a very rude women at the front. I asked if I could drop my dog off for half a day (I did not know half a day was only 4 hours, my mistake) for doggy daycare. She then rudely said "Next time make an appointment so we know who's coming." I told her that I was on hold for 15 minutes and then tried to call again, with no answer. She then asked how long until I will be picking him up, and I told her 4:30 (it was 9:30 at this point.) She then again, rudely stated that it's not a half day and I should know that. Excuse me? My mistake, but don't ever say that to a customer. Her and another women at the front desk told me my dog was being a pest the last time he was there, so they are going to put him with the smaller dogs. First of all, how dare you call my dog a pest, he's a 1/2 year old puppy, he's going to be energetic and excited. Second of all, wtf do you mean he's going to be out with the smaller dogs? He's a 70lb husky, why in the world would you put him with the smaller dogs? That's setting THEM up for an accident, due to MY dog and their ignorance. It's like they don't even want to pay attention to him, basically just put him in his kennel after he's too hyper. If I had another place to drop him off, trust me, I would've yanked my dogs leash out of their hands and stormed off, but in this instance I had to leave him. I come back to pick him up, and he's SOAKING wet. I asked what the hell happened, and they said he was playing in his water bowl. They then proceed to tell me he was in a time out and kenneled due to being a PEST and humping. I don't know how long he was kenneled for, all I know is when he gets bored, he plays with his water. I don't want to think he was kenneled for the majority of his time there, but I have a feeling he was. They will NEVER get my business at this location EVER. read more

Very disappointed in PetSmart Pet Hotel. We brought in a healthy energetic dog and picked up a lethargic sick dog a week later. We asked about his condition and they said "he did fine". We have boarded here before and received a daily report card. This time nothing! We have no idea when he started getting sick. He was not seen by a vet. He was not isolated and our emergency contacts were not called. We brought him to our vet and he is now on antibiotics for kennel cough. When we picked him up he was in day care with about 12 other dogs. The associate who checked us in and out was abrupt and rude. We will never bring any pet here again. I emailed PetSmart with a notice I would receive a response in 48 hours. After receiving nothing, I called and filed a verbal complaint. Again, I was told I would receive a response in 48 hours. Again, nothing. read more

Doggy Day Camp review... I've never left any dog I ever had at a place like this, so I was a bit worried. We had bought a Petsmart puppy kit which comes with coupons for 2 days of Doggy Day Camp. So we went in to check the place out first, the staff was really nice and explained everything to us. So we said what the heck, let's give it a try. We decided to do a half day for our first time. Check in/ check out was easy. I bought an ice cream snack for our pup so that while he was with them he'd get a special treat, apparently he loved it. They fill out a report card to let you know how the day went. So as we are aware of, his report claims non stop energy and playing. Yeah, why do you think I needed a break! He acted fine upon pick up, was not smelly or dirty, and he was tired, just what I wanted. I would take him back. read more

Took our dog here to get groomed and was sent home for a fake claim of having 'a flea'...immediately had her checked at Highlands Animal Care ( cuz I'm not dealing w fleas & will address any issue immediately ) and NOT surprisingly she was confirmed to not have a single flea. She gets her treatments on time and her products are from the vet she was seen at for vaccines. So either the groomer/employees have fleas or their area has a flea issue. Took my dog elsewhere and she was serviced with no problems. They actually laughed about the flea claim even because it's so ridiculous and stupid because "she's literally white and fluffy which is the easiest type of fur to see fleas" lol Not sure why someone would lie about fleas but we'd be the first to know if she had fleas so just really weird. People are just so weird lol scheduled with Gabby. Wont be back, would not recommend and will let whoever I know to avoid this location due to them having fleas and not even being aware of where they're coming from. I spoke with manager about it and will be reaching out to corporate today. Cuz what we won't do is lie on my dog and be weird lol the awkward silence was very loud btw because you'd expect "have her treated and bring her back" or even just a "have a good day" lmao not "she had one flea by her ear" and that's the last word spoken to a customer? It's giving lame excuse...I'm very easy going but don't do weird stuff and expect to not be held accountable. Dog has been from Milwaukee to Oakland to Dallas to Vegas etc with no issues EVER lol let's be for real here. Be weird with someone else and play safe! read more

I stopped in to get my spoiled little pooch some treats. I knew he was almost out and I'd feel bad for not having any for him. Parking is a breeze here. Since it's located in a strip mall, I've never had any problems finding a close parking spot. This location's size seems a little more compact than others. I'm sure it's still filled with their same items found elsewhere. Seeing as pets are allowed to come in with their owners, the store is clean without any urine smells. Since I was only here for dog treats, it was right up front by their registers. They do have a wide variety of items for dogs. Anything from organic to baked to the regular treats. Although they do have variety, i feel as if their prices are a bit high and wouldn't usually get treats here if I wasn't in the area. Otherwise it is a good pet store if in need of medications or other items for your furry friend! read more

This was the first time going to this location. My husband picked up my Max for me and when he got home I noticed he had very visible yellow spots and when I went to pick him up his fur was shedding like crazy. (the flash in the photos I took make it look less visible) He has never shed this much.. especially after getting groomed. Aside from this he had a bit of odor and he was still damp. I ran my hands through his fur and it was very damp around his neck area. I immediately called the store but the grooming salon had just closed. I chose to go in the store to speak to a manager and I was greeted by a friendly and helpful store clerk. The store manager was great. She was kind, understanding and after taking a look herself she provided me a full refund. Previously I have gone to the lakemead location in Henderson. Although it is a longer drive for me I will definitely make that drive from now on. Alyssa at that location perfectly grooms him. As for Amber at the grooming salon here at this Stephanie location, she definitely needs training. I can't imagine she could have any pride as a stylist in the grooming she did today. read more

Hmmmm... One person putting a review at the hotel page when they didn't like the pet grooming at the store and one person who downgrades things because they found another place they like better. I think I'll be the first person to actually review the hotel. We were coming through on our way to Palm Springs and needed a clean, nice place to put the pooch for the night. The strip just isn't dog friendly. They are certainly not the cheapest place around town. However, they are very business like, The facility is spotless. It was not a problem that our dog spent about 24 hours in the kennel. We could have paid extra for day care, but she needed the rest after doing things all day anyway. The staff really seemed to care about the animals. They knew enough about her personality when we picked her up that they obviously spent time with her. I'd use them again. read more

The store doesn't open until 9. 7 am is for the pet hotel and grooming. The store was unhelpful.

The groomer at this Petsmart, Debby, is unprofessional. I usually bring my cat to the bandfield vet clinic to get her check up and nails done. They told us that they no longer do nail trims for the price that we had been getting them. We decided to try the groomers but were skeptical because we had a bad experience with my dog at the groomers at a different location. But my cat needed her nails cut so we decided to give it one last shot. They took in my cat to the table and picked her up by her neck!! She put a leash around my cats neck and was very rough. Then they proceeded to clip my cats nails WITHOUT GLOVES while she is clearly agitated and then they got bit. This worker then yells out to the store "YOU'RE CAT CANT COME HERE ANYMORE." She also badmouthed my cat to another customer not knowing that my dad is in the room!!! "I hope your cat isn't like the previous cat I had. She was so bad." Like are you kidding??? This was COMPLETELY unprofessional. We have never had any problems at the bandfield clinic so why do we keep having problems at the groomers?? She is usually in and out for her previous nail trims at the clinic. They even praise her for being so nice and easy to work with. We will NEVER go to another petsmart groomers at any location ever again. Stop getting untrained and unprofessional people to handle our pets!!!! read more
