As I visited and walked through the store, it seemed like the employees were all working hard, yet they were never too busy not to stop to ask if I needed any assistance finding anything. This location is our go-to spot! From the first day of adopting our fur baby, we got all the supplies at PetSmart. They had an adoption coupon book and saved us some money. PetSmart has everything from food, treats, clothes, toys, and cleaning supplies. The Banfield clinic is located in the back of the store. It's a great one stop shop. I personally didn't try the clinic yet. We have a short hair dog so we haven't tried the grooming facilities either. The store is organized, clean, and our beloved fur babies are welcomed into the store. Although it can be a little crazy, it's nice to have pet friendly stores. The employees seem happy to be there and are helpful when we ask questions. PetSmart is located near Party City, Marshalls, Ross, and Party City. Across the lot there's restaurants and pubs. On the other side of the lot there's Lowe's and Staples. You can do all your shopping in one area - very convienent! read more

I took my dog in today to get her nails trimmed. They took her in, and I went to go to the front to pay for the nail trim/grind and came back to sit on the bench outside the salon. I heard insane yelping from inside. I stand up and see my dog yelping so loud, biting the lead, and refusing to let the groomer touch her paws. I have had her 5 years and never seen this behavior ever. I went inside and asked why she was yelling. The other techs were telling her to stop. They tell me she is just nervous with a new groomer, and will have a "more senior groomer" take over. That groomer took over and the rest went fine. I took her out and looked at her nails as soon as I got in the car. The groomer was grinding the TOP of her nails. No wonder why she was yelping, that had to be extremely painful. This was not on accident as she had done this to every nail on the three paws she had worked on. That was 6 hours ago and my dog has been moping around since then. The manager Angelina was very sweet and offered to pay for any vet bills. But this should never have happened in the first place. Stay FAR away from this grooming salon. I have little ones so we tend to frequent this Petsmart often to look at all the animals and purchase stuff for our pets. However, today was very sad and disappointing. Most of the cases were empty and there were tons of fish dead and floating in the tanks. I've never had to explain to my kids why there are so many dead fish at a fish store. First, I want to note that my recently adopted kitty had a very relaxing and calm grooming experience with Dany, and I was thankful to find someone so good with my little one. Dany was going on maternity leave and recommended Kristy (she said Kristy grooms her cats and that she's really good with them). So I made an appointment for a nail trim and brought her in. I sat in the grooming salon watching how she was with my kitty (I have let them know each time she has a bit of anxiety and is afraid of very loud noises). Kristy handled her roughly and was talking so loudly to my kitty that she was getting stressed out. I kept asking her and the 2 other groomers if they could speak a bit more quietly (the volume was so loud that even I was getting a bit stressed - almost near a yell. It doesn't help that the room bounces sound like crazy, which intensifies the volume). Unlike Dany, who would gently hug and speak softly to my kitty when she would notice her getting a bit stressed (which calmed her down immediately), Kristy ignored me and continued to be rough with her. I was so angry when I left the grooming salon - my kitty was shaking and terrified! Later that evening I noticed my kitty was refusing to eat and was having difficulty using her litter box. And she kept hiding and meowing (which she had never done since I adopted her). I eventually was able to coax her out of her hiding space and hugged her and tried to feed her some wet food (she ate a little, but her behavior worried me). The next day I rushed my kitty to her vet - he examined her and said that she was having stress-induced issues which caused inflammation in her bladder (I told him what happened the day before at the groomer, and that she was perfectly fine prior to that grooming visit). He said my kitty was exhibiting high stress and anxiety and that I needed to treat the inflammation issue so she could expel her bladder. I was in tears! So, nearly $200 in medication and a vet visit later, and after 10 days of my poor little baby taking medication, she finally was back to her playful, happy self. I will NEVER take her back to the grooming salon at that location, especially if Kristy is there. Not listening to the customer, not recognizing the stressors the pets have (especially after being told multiple times in person as well as having it documented in their records) ...it's a stress-inducing environment to begin with because it's ridiculously loud. I should have gone after the grooming salon to pay my vet bill, since that experience cause both my kitty and me such anxiety (and anger on my end). I will NEVER bring my little baby to that grooming salon again. read more

We come here regularly for both of my dogs to be groomed. Austyn is always amazing, and all the grooming staff are courteous and friendly.

We took our 4 month puppy Oreo in for her first grooming! Autumn was AMAZING!! She updated me (I'm sure she could tell I was just as nervous as Oreo) and gave her the best 1st hair cut. I have been getting my dog groomed at Petsmart for awhile and never had any major issues. Today though, I had the worst experience. I was called being told my dog's chest was "knicked" while he was being shaved and that they had to take him to the vet because he was bleeding and they would call me as soon as they got word from the vet. I waited 30ish minutes of not hearing any updates and decided to call them back. I was told that he hadn't been seen by the vet yet and was likely "just waiting in a kennel" but that he probably needed stitches! Now I understand that accidents happen, but the fact that a knick would need stitches and was serious enough to need stitches yet my dog hadn't been seen by a vet yet? My dog is 14 years old and blind/deaf. He gets very nervous in places he hasn't been before, and i'm sure he was just freaking out being locked in a cage while hurt. I decided to go up there so I could see him and get some answers, when I got there they said they still haven't looked at him because they had too many patients at the vet and he wasn't a priority. The groomer cut open my elderly dog's chest but he wasn't a priority!! Then they say they have to wait to get manager approval for them to help my dog at all and he would just have to wait in a kennel until then. Their plan was to put my very old dog under anesthesia so they could stitch him up, which is super risky for an elderly dog. So, upon hearing that bullshit plan I decided to take him to his normal everyday vet. Took him to his normal vet and they got him in a room and saw him immediately! Put some lidocaine on it and put staples in and we were in and out of there with antibiotics and everything in less than 30 minutes!! Fuck Petsmart! Fuck Banfield! Definitely don't trust these people with your animals! read more

This PetSmart store falls pretty solidly into the average category. They've got some good going for them and they've got some bad going for them, but overall, most things are just pretty standard. Located right off 121, this PetSmart is exceptionally convenient for those of us in Bedford, Hurst, Euless and Grapevine. It's also near a lot of other things (Lowes, Target, etc) so it's great if you're running errands. As for selection and price, they're a totally standard PetSmart. Their instocks could use some work as we've had to go elsewhere a few times for our dog's food, but that's been only sporadic. Their staff is a bit of a mixed bag as well. Their cashiers are always wonderful and friendly. For the most part, their grooming area has been good. However, the first time we took Artie in to simply get his nails trimmed, we were asked for his breed. No big deal. We explained he is a rescue and that the shelter had told us he is part Beagle, part lab, but that's all we knew. Another groomer in the room hollered over quite rudely, "that's a pitbull and you know it. Put that dog in as a pitbull." Umm, ok. Yeah, he doesn't even resemble a pitbull. So, probably won't be going back for that part of the store. read more

they definitely deserve less than their 2.7 star rating. The groomers don't even greet you when they walk in and they act like you're a hassle by bringing your dog in. I brought my rabies vaccination to the groomers and they denied me because it hadn't been 48 hours which it had and then she changed it to say 72 hours so I left. They have since not allowed me to book online and turned me away. I now work at a different bathing place and can see how much damage they do to the dogs there not to mention pulling and yanking on my dog. I tried to give the Euless PetSmart one more time but they disappointed me once again. The first time I took my dog for a brushing for all the winter hair but they don't have just a brushing so I had to purchase a full package. I drop my dog off and my wife picks him up later. When I get home my dog still has the lumps of hair that were there when I dropped him off. I immediately call them and the guy that serviced my dog said he ran out of time. So they were fine with charging me for something and not delivering. Now I drop my dog off and Krypto is calm as can be. We noted that he does have anxiety sometimes but when we dropped him off he actually likes the lady and had no issues. We weren't even out of the parking lot and they called saying he was too aggressive and come pick him up. When I got there there were two groomers just sitting there with Krypto with not a stir. I think they were looking for a lazy Sunday and just trying to get out of work. This seems to be the type of service you will get from them. read more

We have been taking our "Star," a Great Pyrenees, to PetSmart, Euless for over 2 years now and have been exceptionally pleased with the grooming of her. Star has a great deal of long white fur (hair) and it gives Ladarica, her groomer, a challenge. The end result is fantastic! This location has great customer service in both the store and the grooming salon. Our Shiba Inu received a grooming treatment a week ago, and unfortunately his excess shedding did not stop. While I realize it is close to summer, I feel he definitely needed more brushing than they initially gave him, since he was shedding more this time after getting groomed than he ever has before. I sent an email to PetSmart explaining his excess shedding after his appointment with them, and they corrected the situation immediately. I was able to get my dog a free follow up grooming right away, and they always treat him like a King! The excess hair situation is a lot more under control now. They did a great job. read more

Listen... the grooming department is absolutely a joke. I called several times to speak with the cat groomer, named Comfort. Never got the call back from her. Finally I called back spoke with a guy and he scheduled me and said Comfort will call me to verify the time. Again no call. So the day comes and I call to see what time to bring in my cat, to only be told by Kathy the salon lead (I think) that there was no appointment for today. I tried to explain to her my dilemma. But all she did was tell me over and over again that there was no appointment scheduled and that she wouldn't allow anyone to schedule for the cat groomer Comfort. I asked her was there any thing available and again she just repeated herself, not caring how frustrated I was getting because I had already called at least on four other occasions trying to get in contact with the cat groomer she then tells me have a nice day and hangs up the phone. Customer service definitely needs to be better.. Communication is the key, if you are taking a message for someone and if you are the person receiving a message to call someone back and you work at a public business, try to at least call them back. Watching her she was rough and aggressive with them then blamed it on the dogs. She did not give us what we asked for as we asked for the nail trimming and grinding service. I've been using PetSmart grooming service for 4 years. In the beginning they had a high turn over with their groomers. The last two years or so PetSmart recruited a really good crew of groomers. They have done a great job with our two Cav's. I couldn't be more pleased. I usually request Nathan but if he's booked I know that any associate will do a good job. Had literally the worst grooming experience from this store ever. Took my puppy to get groomed and got a call 2 hours later saying they can't finish his hair cut and that we need to pick him up. We get there and he looks totally haggard. I mean there was only 1 of his front legs shaved. Part of his back was shaved. Another leg in the back was shaved and his butt was shaved. He smelled horribly of urine like he was sitting in pee the whole time they had him caged. She claimed that he was moving too much and barking. He is a 8 month old Maltipoo (small puppy) and we have never had a problem like that before with any other Petsmart. It sucks because we love shopping at Petsmart and got out puppy trained there, but I don't know if we are even going to shop there anymore. On the bright side the groomers gave me a deal by only charging me for a bath, but he smelled like straight piss. I talked to the store manager, or whom I believe it was, and she tried to haggle with me for 10 minutes to get me to pay for the bath. She saw how terrible the puppy looked and also could smell him. Pretty terrible that a Petsmart store manager wouldn't just comp everything for a terrible experience. I will never use Petsmart for grooming ever again. read more

Great location for my dogs stuff. Some of the staff here are friendly but there are a few who aren't too friendly. My dog used to get groomed here but the last few times I've seen cuts on him and they did not inform me. One cut got infected as I never knew he was cut. ***Grooming Dept*** Today I dropped my dog, Leo, off at Petsmart for a bath and cut and brought him back home like this...He was cut in several places while being shaved, but know one called to tell me. When I came to pick him up after 6pm today, Leo was brought to me like normal, but he was fighting me not to put him down. I knew something was wrong and looked him all over and found the wounds. The manager had me to take him to Banfield to get checked out and I was told that he had to keep this coller on for 7day because I have to put ointment on the wounds for 7days, or he could get an infection. The problem with this is.... I planned a last minute trip to the beach and he was going with me, and I was told he couldn't get wet... do anyone understand how pissed off I am?! I had to find someone to watch him because off all the events i scheduled i wouldnt be able to take care of him. I will NEVER have my baby groomed at this place ever again!!! They better be glad I don't sue them!! This isnt the first time this has happened. I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy. Leo has been crying since we got home. read more

The ladies are super lovey on my animals, they remember them by name, take time to listen to what I need and to get to know my dogs a bit before they just whisk them away to the kennels each time we return. Amazing customer service and easy booking online. They even always make sure that I can take both of my shih tzus at the same time. Prices are pretty darn good too in my opinion! $45 bucks for a basic groom and bath with itchy oatmeal shampoo. I don't really think you can beat that!! read more

I have been going to the Pets Mart off of hwy 121 and Glade for 9 years once a month. On 11-16-18 was my last visit to the grooming salon. For 9 years every month, I would get the nail grinding for both dogs. The very young girl with the nose ring told me after 9 years of the same request that my dogs needed their nails cut and then ground. I said no, not after 9 years. The salon manager Austyn, agreed with the girl with the nose ring. I still disagreed. The salon manager said the dogs are good and the girl with the nose ring said at least the dogs are good. What kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE is that and the salon manager allowed it. I left and went and spoke with the store manager Brian and it appears it was ok with the store manager. For health and safety reasons, I placed an online order and used the curbside pick up option. The process was very simple and easy. Unfortunately there was a problem with a number of the dog food cans being severely dented when I inspected them at home. I spoke with the manager on the phone and she went above and beyond to correct the problem and make the exchange for undamaged cans over the phone rather than making me come into the store to make the exchange. I was able to pick up the new products curbside almost immediately. I appreciate their willingness to do whatever it takes to keep us safe during these times. read more

I took my dog here to get groomed and unfortunately I don't think I'll bring him back. I have the sweetest Maltese who's a bit older (15) and we informed the associates of his age upon dropping him off for his appointment. I showed up halfway through the appointment and immediately felt uncomfortable watching the way they were handling him. He was constantly barking out of discomfort and the groomer looked quite frustrated with him. They ended up letting me know that they could not "safely finish grooming him" because he was moving around too much, and they insisted that next time I pay more so that he could have 2 groomers take care of him at once. I'm well aware that my dog was probably not perfect during the appointment, but I still expect him to be treated with care.. Especially as an older dog who gets stressed out easily. read more

Until today I always shopped at PetSmart because it's so close to my house. After my experience today you will now find me shopping at Petco in Grapevine. I was in PetSmart last week spending my typical $150.00 on food & treats for my 2 dogs & 2 cats. They were out of the foil packages of mini Jumbones. My dogs absolutely love them! I asked if they had any more in the back & they said they didn't. So, my boys did without. Today I went back in & they still didn't have any. I asked Keith, the cashier at the time, if they had any. He kinda half assed dug around & said, "No, we don't have any." I told him that the last time I was in their store they didn't have them & asked if he knew if they stopped carrying them? He said I'll call the Manager. I said that would be great. I tried to tell him that my boys absolutely loved them & if they stopped carrying them I would have to go elsewhere but didn't really want to. When I got the part about my need to go elsewhere he said "That would be fine." stunned, I said "What? Are you kidding me? Did you just tell me to take my business elsewhere?" "Yes," he said. Unbelievable! I didn't deserve to be told to shop somewhere else. He must have been having a bad day but that's no excuse to treat a paying customer with such disrespect. I could almost understand if this cashier was a high school kid. I would kind of write him off as being a social outcast because he keeps he nose in computer games or Facebook and I would guess that his social skills are probably non existent! But, if this is the case, he shouldn't be in a customer service position. What is wrong with society today? Customer service is sadly a thing of the past! Courtesy. I have been taking my FurBabies to this PetSmart groomers since 2011 when we adopted our first Golden. Golden would relax, literally, under the water, or to get his nails trimmed. They all laughed at him. His tail always came out feathered. Just gorgeous. When I let 2 specific groomers know that he had passed away, they were actually sad. It was not until I was picking up the phone to make a grooming appointment today that I realized I needed to warn other people about using the grooming salon at the Euless Petsmart. For the last several months, the grooming salon at the Euless location has been severely understaffed. They have been rescheduling appointments, or not honoring appointments because they simply did not have the manpower to accommodate all the animals scheduled for that day. Morale at the location seems to be awful, and my personal impression is that the personnel that remains at this grooming salon is either vastly underqualified for the job, or are taking out their frustrations on the animals. The last couple of times I brought my dogs there (and shame on me for bringing them in again after the first bad experience!), my pets had been cut by sloppy technicians. The animals were traumatized by their time at this grooming salon. A year ago, this was my favorite place to take my pets to be groomed. The groomers always remembered my dogs, and fought over who got to take care of them. They did a great job, and my dogs would always run toward the grooming department with tails wagging. When I took one of my dogs to this Petsmart to pick up food last week, he wouldn't go into the store. We had to go over to the Southlake location to pick up food. read more
