When we picked her up, she was extremely lethargic and clearly not acting like herself. Within hours, we rushed her to urgent care and were told she had internal bleeding. She was immediately transferred to an emergency animal hospital, where she underwent an emergency splenectomy because cancer was suspected. Thankfully, pathology showed no cancer. We were then told by veterinary professionals that one possible cause of this type of injury is blunt force trauma. I went to this location in person and spoke with the manager to explain what happened and to seek answers--not to accuse anyone, but to understand how our dog could suffer a life-threatening internal injury while in their care. Instead of concern or empathy, I later received a phone call questioning the credibility of what I had said and asking for the name of the hospital and number in order to verify herself. There were no apologies, no expression of concern for Sally's condition, and no willingness to meaningfully engage with us. The focus was entirely on defending themselves and emphasizing how "big of an accusation" this was--despite the fact that we were simply looking for answers, not placing blame. Our dog almost died while under their care, and the lack of compassion, accountability, and basic concern afterward was deeply disturbing. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering leaving their pet here. Stay far away.

He is incredibly smart, compassionate, and truly understands that every dog is unique. He tailored the training specifically to our dog's needs, using a very gentle yet highly effective approach. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with -- it's not a one-size-fits-all method, and that made all the difference. Our dog responded so well to Justin and his training methods. One is a large breed and the other a toy breed…read more We live together and were really struggling to integrate the two pups and it was making life VERY difficult. We were afraid to let them be in the same room together due to the size difference - when they were in the same room, it was basically gladiator warfare! We chose to board and train them together with Justin for two weeks while we went on an overseas trip. We were absolutely shocked at the progress Justin made with them in a few short days. The pups are totally integrated and we are all finally able to relax in the same room together. Until Justin came along, we were sure this was going to be a forever issue. Aside from the integration, Justin really listened to what our concerns were for training and was able to address each and get us moving in the right direction. He approaches training with love and always with the intention of strengthening your bond with your dog and teaching how to behave so that your dog can live it's best life and have as many adventures with you as possible. It's evident that Justin loves his work and loves and really gets to know each dog. We got great updates every day on how things were going and what he was working on with them. He's also an amazing photographer and we have so many gorgeous puppy portraits that he took. Best decision we ever made to use Justin and Modern Dog to help us with our boys. Their initial one-on-one assessment is a great way for the trainers to get to know your dog (and you) and to figure out where to begin. The Zoom Room has a wide variety of classes to choose from. My family typically opts for the Agility classes because they are so much fun! But the other classes they offer are great too. Zoom Room keeps their class sizes small, so that they can ensure that their students and their paw-rents are getting the attention that they need. The trainers are thorough while keeping learning fun. I love that their classes can fit almost every schedule. I have a non-conventional work schedule where I would not be able to commit to something like "every Monday at 6pm." Being able to pick and choose when to bring my dogs is so appreciated. Zoom Room also has a variety of class packages/payment plans. They make it as convenient as possible for each of their pet families. Our younger pup Piper has gained a lot of confidence and social skills from her classes at Zoom Room. When it was time to renew our initial plan, we changed to one where we could share between both our dogs so that our 5 year old dog could participate in the fun as well! My fiancé and I adopted a dog in September named Angus from Paws in the City. We live in an…read moreapartment complex with a dog park and we would take Angus to the dog park to socialize and take care of business. Our poor pupper was attacked twice by the same two dogs and it completely changed his behavior. He just lost trust in other dogs and became aggressive when he would come across another dog. We didn't know how to reverse this behavior and that's when we started researching on dog training. My fiancé found Off Leash, watched all of the videos on their training and we decided to go for their 8 week program. We started with the trainer Brandon and he was wonderful. He really took the time to let Angus get comfortable with him and showed us several commands that had us in awe. Brandon was no longer going to be available on Saturday's so we were going to be switching with Sarah. Brandon observed her for a few session and then she was solo. It was the same service all across the board. The last 2 or 3 sessions, we went to dog parks but just to walk around them, allowing Angus to get familiar with being around other dogs, and how to control his behavior. This has honestly made a HUGE difference with our pupper! The training doesn't stop even though we're done with the program. We're now able to walk off leash with him around the complex and he can place anywhere we point to. We still have to work on getting Angus to be more relaxed when coming in contact with other dogs but we're very confident that we have the proper tools to get him there!

I had to BEG for photos and updates knowing my dog wasn't eating for a week. Then they pass the SAME PHOTO and even sent me a screen shot of the edited time stamp to prove that they it wasn't edited. Guess they didn't look hard enough because the date the photo was really taken was on their screen shot. Attached are pics of the two weight pictures (drop off and pick up), a screen shot of the text message exchange and a close up showing the actual time stamp. The biggest thing is that I had a dog with special needs that was away from home not eating and I wasn't getting communication.

When I attended the initial consultation, I was amazed by how large, clean, and over-the-top the facility was. The talk lasted 30 minutes, and we spoke for almost one 1hour. They were patient, and we explained all our goals, which we wanted our July to be trained on. Tyler worked with July. We received daily "Pupdates" and report cards that included videos, photos, and an overall update on his improvement. I could tell Tyler cared about July as if he was his doggie. We are so proud and thrilled about the progress July has made. TRULY AMAZING! July's confidence built up, and his personality came through by the end of the 4-week board and train program. It took 4 weeks & 3 vet visits & month of sleepless nights to get him well again. The dog was not trained. After advising JP of what happened & sharing the vet bills he stormed into our vet & scared the office staff. Even though we had already shared the receipts. We opted out of the follow up home training given how sick or dog got & how upset we were of the condition he came back in. The only way JP would give any sort of refund even though the follow up home training was NOT complete was if we signed an NDA. I asked JP to please give us our money back for the training we didn't complete at home. No response. I asked him several times to please pay us the $600 because it was the right thing to do. Ghosted! Very disappointed. Do not recommend. I would ever never let my dog ever be boarded by this group. Huge mistake trusting this group! They promised to take good care of our beloved dog & he was clearly neglected. Do not recommend. If I could rate it a zero I would.
