Our initial experience with Night and Day was in 2020, when we got our first family dog. Growing up we always had dogs at home, but I was a child and did not have a clue how to train one. The only thing I knew was that I needed professional help outside of potty training. Having a dog with manners, that didn't jump on people or furniture was at the top of my list. I spent a couple of months trying to find a dog trainer that felt right to me. I wanted someone with a passion for dogs. The initial vetting process for the "tell me about your dog" conversation was quite thorough and deeper than anticipated. Meranda truly wanted to know about our dog's personality, temperament, issues, aggression, and potential negative behaviors. The openness about training methods felt very ethical and gave me a peace of mind. Made it easier to hand our dog over for Night and Day K9's "Advanced Obedience" board and train program. Since attending his training program, our dog has been to Night and Day probably a couple of dozen times (over the years) for boarding when we are leaving town. Let me tell you, this boy LOVES visiting his second family. Knowing our four legged son is thrilled to go back to Night and Day K9, literally keeps us going back! Being repeat customers, we knew the newest addition to the family would also attend a board and train program with Meranda. Our one year old mut just wrapped up with "Perfect Dog". I loved how there was not hard and fast date on when our dog would be coming home. The results mattered more than a deadline, as all dogs learn differently and at different rates. Again, getting a wonderful peace of mind as the puppy was away learning to be the "goodest boy" in town! It is nice to have him back home after his training and have a WILDLY different boy on our hands. It is neat to watch him self correct and self soothe in order to settle. Before, he would NEVER stop - like a toddler running around with endless energy and excitement. Having a trained and changed dog definitely lessens the stress in our home. I usually do not write reviews on businesses unless it's a negative one, but the outstanding quality level of training, attention to detail and customer service provided by K9 was phenomenal. Their team made my dog's training entire process completely effortless and worry free. I called and went to meet with several dog trainers in the DFW to compare their programs; however, none captured my attention as much as Night and Day K9 Training. I called on a Friday evening, and the owner (Meranda) made it a point to patiently answer all my questions, go over their programs in great detail, and never tried to rush me. She must have spent over 45 minutes on the phone with me discussing all programs. The following week, after meeting with her, I was convinced I found the right trainer for our pet. Our trainer Meranda was extremely courteous, professional, and well versed in her craft. This young lady's competence left me speechless. I'm must say I was thoroughly impressed with with her services and expertise. As if their flawless and well planned instruction wasn't enough, the owner Meranda personally called/messaged us to follow up and ensure matters were going well with respect to our training sessions on a weekly basis. The team of trainers and staff led by Meranda provided a five star experience at all times. I have never experienced anything else like it. I can't say enough positive things about night and day. My German shepherd struggled with confidence and anxiety often resulting in him compensating with displaced aggression towards others. This facility came highly recommended to me by a close friend. After completing an in person consultation, I sent my boy Jax to them for his training needs. Jax completed an 8-9 week boarding program, and I am beyond impressed with the results. The team is not only incredibly skilled but also reliable, accommodating, and receptive to all my concerns throughout the process. From the moment we arrived, they made me feel completely at ease, knowing Jax was in great hands. They took the time to understand his unique needs and tailored his training accordingly, ensuring that he made real progress every single week. Communication was seamless, and I never had trouble getting in touch with them. They were always more than willing to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide updates on Jax's progress. Now, Jax is a completely different dog. He's more confident, obedient, and well-adjusted. He's noticeably calmer and more focused, isn't in survival model, allowing him to just be a happy dog. I will recommend this board & train program to anyone who is unable to enjoy their pet! We have never had issues training dogs ourselves in the past, but now that we have two very young children and a new German Shepherd puppy, we had no time to really focus on training. On top of that, this puppy was extremely stubborn and had no impulse control. We were getting nowhere with her, and she was bringing nothing but stress and frustration into our household. By the time she was 4 months old, we decided to enroll her in the 4-week board and train program with Night and Day K9 Training. I now understand exactly why they chose that name, because I describe the results to everyone as a "night and day difference". She truly feels like a completely different dog! Meranda ended up keeping her slightly longer than the original boarding plan because she felt she would benefit from the extra time and training (and their quality guarantee). We were not charged anything additional for this, and that gave us a lot of confidence in the integrity of the facility. We also received two training sessions with her during the stay, which were crucial in helping us understand how to reinforce the training and behaviors at home. When she came home, I expected her to slip back into old habits pretty quickly, but she didn't. She's better with the kids, better with us, and just overall easier to live with. We have a, now 11 month old, German Shepherd we brought home as a puppy. When we brought him home we have a 2 year old dachshund who loves to bark at everything, jump at the door to go outside, pulls on the leash and just doesn't really listen. Well our new puppy was learning lots of bad habits and we didn't want that. We did lots of research before deciding who we wanted to go with. After our evaluation with Alan we decided to go with Night and Day's perfect dog board and train and now I can honestly say we made the best decision for our German Shepherd! Alan was always quick with answering questions and keeping us updated while our pup was away. Never once was I worried about him. Now of course my husband and I are learning to be the trainer and Alan has checked in on us multiple time to see how things are going. He gave us great detailed information and demonstration for when we brought our pup home. Our German Shepherd listens way better and walks great on a leash and we are getting better at making him listen to us off a leash. We can see major differences, all in a great way! We are happy with the training! We also had the chance to meet Meranda one of the other trainers, and from the meeting I can tell she is also very knowledgable in k9 training. I usually don't write reviews, but I just had to share this amazing experience. I recently adopted a Blue Heeler puppy, and this little rascal turned my house upside down. So, I started looking for onsite training facilities to help out. I wasn't happy with the last place I used, as I felt they rushed the training and made my current dog anxious. But then I found Night and Day K9 Training and met Meranda (who's a woman owner!), and I knew right away that this was the perfect place for my dog. Meranda is incredibly knowledgeable and has an amazing team as well. She kept my dog for almost 4 weeks, and when I visited at the 2-week mark, I was stunned by the progress. He seemed much more relaxed and was enjoying being a good dog, not the chaotic one I dropped off. He graduated this weekend, and I've already taken him to a festival with other dogs, and he was so well-behaved. At home, he's much calmer and follows directions, but still has that playful puppy energy without any anxiety. I recently sent my dog, Midge, to the board and train program, and I could not be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the process was seamless, supportive, and incredibly effective. Skyler and Aubrey were absolutely amazing with Midge. They treated her with so much patience, kindness, and consistency, and it was clear from the beginning that they truly cared about her progress and well-being. Midge came home with not only better manners and obedience skills, but also with more confidence and calmness in her everyday behaviors. we recently purchased a Cane corso puppy. this is a much larger breed that any dog we have had before and quite a handful.. She was a wild child and was nipping alot and just didnt listen. We were concerned that she was going to be too much for us. Before we give up, we decided to see what a trainer could do for us..My husband found Night and Day k 9 , and Alan is amazing. i was so umpressed after his first training session with us. After our first three training sessions, our puppy is doing incredibly well and again have been so totally impressed with Alan and Night and Day k 9 training. He not only taught our puppy, but also educated us as well. he is a great guy, and i think his training ability is outstanding. We cant wait for our next training..Off Leash Training when she is a bit more mature. My husband and I chose the boarding-training option at Night and Day for our two large-breed rescue dogs that are each 2.5 ears old. Della and Geordey are big, strong dogs that needed to learn better manners and to mind us when we give commands. Despite our personal attempts to get them to stay, not jump on us (and visitors) when excited, and to go on walks without pulling, we definitely had our hands full. Thanks to Skyler, they show remarkable improvement! Skyler has the skill to understand the unique personality of each dog and to then apply that knowledge to help your dog respond to the best of their ability. We notice Della and Geordey are calmer and have an overall better control of their behavior due to being more focused. They are able to stay in place consistently and are easier to walk. This facility is very clean and organized. Our dogs look healthy and seem happy to be there. We are quite pleased with the care and training they are receiving and highly recommend Night and Day! read more

I'm extremely happy with Night and Day and will continue to use them for all of my four legged kiddos! My first experience with N & D was a couple years back when I adopted a very high energy pit from the shelter who quickly turned from sweet heart to menace, pulled on the leash constantly, ate furniture and walls and was just about unmanageable! I did their perfect dog board and train program, dropped off a trouble maker and picked up a sweet heart just about every bad behavior are completely gone and the few that are really fall on me giving more slack to Blue then I should Fast forward to this summer/ fall my wife and I decided to get a golden doodle puppy and we were vastly unprepared for the chaos of having a puppy! But once again I reached out to Meranda and after a few short puppy sessions Benji is better on a leash, knows sit, down, heel and was house trained! What a difference Night and Day K9 Training made with my pup! Rooster is an Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog....very high energy and an obstinate streak a mile wide. He was digging, being spastic, jumping on people, pulling on his leash, and running around like a wild beast. My family actually wanted me to take him back to the breeder, but we compromised on training. I called Night & Day and set up a consultation. They went over the various options for training and I opted for in home training. The trainer was very professional, making sure to text if she was running late. She really helped me understand my dog's behavior and needs. She recommended various toys and activities for our dog. He is now much more pleasant to have around, although we are still working on a few things. They also offer boarding services, as well as, play dates. We got a new dog from a rescue group and were having a very difficult time helping her fit into our family. Everything distracted her and she would bark and lunge at whatever had her attention. She is a smart dog, so when she started ignoring easy commands, we knew that we needed help. We called Night and Day K9 Training and it has made a world of difference. We are so thankful we contacted Night & Day K9 for help with our dog. We had taken him in as a rescue, and he clearly never had any kind of training or socialization. Within minutes of meeting Ranger for his consult, Meranda had him quietly sitting at her feet. I never could have imagine that was even possible!! Trust me, it was nothing short of miraculous. We LOVE night and day k9 training. We adopted two pit bull puppies and immediately started looking for where we could train them. We settled on Night and Day and are so glad we did. Merenda came to train them as 8 week puppies and has continued to train them as they grow. The difference in them and us has been life changing.
