We recently boarded our two dogs at Pet Resort in the Gardens, including one who is diabetic…read more Before booking, we specifically confirmed by phone that they were able to properly care for a diabetic dog and felt comfortable trusting them. We provided verbal instructions twice and written instructions stating that our dog needed to be fed at 7 AM and 7 PM so that his insulin could be administered on a consistent schedule. Unfortunately, we learned at pick up that he had been fed at approximately 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM each day instead. Consistency is extremely important for diabetic dogs, and this type of deviation can be dangerous. When we questioned the feeding times, we were told that special schedules are only followed when instructions are provided. After we pointed out that instructions had been given multiple times, they were eventually located in his chart. What's most disappointing is the apparent lack of concern regarding the seriousness of the error. Mistakes can happen, but attention to detail and an appropriate response are critical, especially when caring for animals with medical conditions. Based on our experience, we were left concerned about the level of communication and oversight provided. We'd never bring our dogs back.

He is now a very fond memory of a wonderful pet and companion. We lost him to cancer about 4 years ago. The Way I messed up is with our current 7.7 pound 15 month old Pomeranian. We attempted to train him using Lucky Dog training in Keller. We tried obedience, manners and zen classes. As he completed each of these classes our goal was to get him into agility. We were assured he was ready for agility based on the instructor's recommendations. Our first Agility teacher was patient and very good with our little man. Our second agility instructor was very good at agility course work but was terrible at teaching him or us behavior techniques. Mind you the techniques we learned in the previous classes only worked minimally at best. It all came to a head when we were given very strict instructions as to not come to class early, remove him from the training area when he was not in the ring; all in a text message. No phone call until the decision was made to remove him from the program. The excuse was that the trainer was busy. If they had enough time to send a text, a phone call would have been quicker and we might have been able to come to a compromise. We had no clue that this was coming. We had concerns but no way given help to deal with our dog. After a call from the owner it was decided our dog was no longer welcome. In Desperation, I called Brian and explained the situation. He was overwhelming willing to help. In the approximately 6 weeks since the occurrence at Luck Dog, Brian has our little man in line and he is much easier to take in public. I venture to say he will be a wonderful dog in short order. Brian accomplished more in six weeks than Lucky Dog training was able to accomplish in five months. You cannot go wrong with using this man.

They made it known that they were there to help service their customers right away. I explained to the employee (Ricky) that's the name on the receipt my current situation about what was happening with my mom's dog Carter. I was thinking it could have been allergies. He told me what products he would use and suggested what he has used on his animals in the past. He listened to my concerns and gave me options right away. Even the lady at the counter gave her suggestions on what could have caused the coughing. I genuinely loved how they were concerned as if it was their animal as well. Hopefully these items do the trick! Thank you so much! Definitely a location I would recommend!

He not only helped me pick out exactly what I needed, he directed me to the best food for the mom that was still affordable and he gave me advice on what to do to care for them and more. He helped me find a collar that was on clearance for the mom cat... he didn't just try to make money off of me, he genuinely cared to help me! During the first week there Heidi drew a bead on his intelligence and stubborn nature and let us know that he would need a firm but affectionate hand. She did not let him get away with his reluctance to submit even though he was pouty about it. When we picked him up, we were amazed! He followed our commands during our training session and retained much of what he learned. We had to go out of town for a funeral and then a few days later he was neutered, so he had a disruptive week but has gone back to obeying most of his commands. He even stops at doorways though I forget he is supposed to do it. Petey does have a larcenous side and is a stealthy counter surfer. He needs to be watched carefully and we are trying to tame the bandit in him. Otherwise he is delightful and fun to be around We had a house full of company last weekend and Petey did great with everyone, including two boys aged 10 and 12. Everybody fell in love with our sweet, smart, well behaved boy! We are so grateful to Heidi and EJ for giving us our darling, smart and obedient Petey. We give CK9 the highest praise and would recommend them to anyone who wants a well-mannered, well-trained canine companion. Yay!

Each of our three is completely different, and Heidi took the time to understand each of them individually. Rosie needed help with her anxiety, while Charlie and Lola had their own personalities and behaviors to work through. Heidi knew exactly how to approach each one and, just as importantly, taught us how to be better, more confident owners. The difference in our three dogs has been incredible. We have more control, better communication, and a much better understanding of what they need from us. Having three dogs with different personalities isn't always easy, and Heidi gave us practical tools that actually work in everyday life. What I love most is how much Heidi genuinely cares. She doesn't just train your dogs and send them home -- she wants the entire family to succeed. We are SO thankful for Heidi and Complete K-9 Training. If you're looking for a trainer, especially if you have multiple dogs or challenging behaviors, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Heidi is the BEST! Rosie, Charlie & Lola give her 15 stars -- 5 each!

We sent our dog JULY  for their four weeks program and had a wonderful experience with the dog training program. When I attended the initial consultation, I was amazed by how large, clean, and over-the-top the facility was. The talk lasted 30 minutes, and we spoke for almost one 1hour. They were patient, and we explained all our goals, which we wanted our July to be trained on. Tyler worked with July. We received daily "Pupdates" and report cards that included videos, photos, and an overall update on his improvement. I could tell Tyler cared about July as if he was his doggie. We are so proud and thrilled about the progress July has made. TRULY AMAZING! July's confidence built up, and his personality came through by the end of the 4-week board and train program. We can't wait to attend group classes and continue to board and bring him back to see the K-9 Culture team! I Recommend K-9 Culture to anyone looking for training for their doggie. He would bark, lunge, or jump if people knocked or even walked by, and I had kept him in one-on-one play at daycare because I wasn't fully confident in his interactions with other dogs. But after just the first session with Mr. Sam, we saw a noticeable difference. He not only helped our dog become calmer and more manageable at the door, but also gave us the tools and knowledge we needed to work through the behavior. By the second session, Mr. Sam had our dog calmly off-leash and playing with other dogs--including a puppy!--in a way I never imagined possible. He really understands dog behavior and is incredibly skilled at guiding both dogs and their humans through the process. Much of the progress is also specifically about me learning to manage my own nervousness due to his previous behavior and history - and trust the process, and Mr. Sam is great at walking you through that. If you're willing to follow his guidance and put in the effort, you'll absolutely notice a big improvement. I now feel more hopeful and empowered, and I'm already seeing a change in our dog's behavior both at the door and even in the car (another place he tends to go crazy). Looking forward to the continued progress--we're so thankful for his help!

Their initial one-on-one assessment is a great way for the trainers to get to know your dog (and you) and to figure out where to begin. The Zoom Room has a wide variety of classes to choose from. My family typically opts for the Agility classes because they are so much fun! But the other classes they offer are great too. Zoom Room keeps their class sizes small, so that they can ensure that their students and their paw-rents are getting the attention that they need. The trainers are thorough while keeping learning fun. I love that their classes can fit almost every schedule. I have a non-conventional work schedule where I would not be able to commit to something like "every Monday at 6pm." Being able to pick and choose when to bring my dogs is so appreciated. Zoom Room also has a variety of class packages/payment plans. They make it as convenient as possible for each of their pet families. Our younger pup Piper has gained a lot of confidence and social skills from her classes at Zoom Room. When it was time to renew our initial plan, we changed to one where we could share between both our dogs so that our 5 year old dog could participate in the fun as well! The Zoom Room - Trophy Club is always clean, and the staff is always warm and engaging. And if you or your fur-baby feel like shopping before or after class, they carry a wonderful selection of high quality treats and toys.
