It has been 10 days since I picked up my puppy and I have not received an email (as Victoria told me I would before I left), about what my puppy was supposedly trained on! She didn't have my email address HOWEVER, I emailed it to her the very next day bright and early and never got a response! I feel as though he wasn't trained on ANYTHING because when I picked him up, he was jumping on Victoria (what I wanted him to learn NOT to do) as well as chewing on his leash (wanted him to learn NOT to do that either!) I'm not a professional dog trainer but I know consistency is key when learning something new so it is a complete DIS-service to NOT know what to continue to train my puppy on! Also, during pick up and drop off she had just gotten home from doing one on one trainings else where so how is my puppy getting trained when she's not there?? I feel like I got gypped into the training part of the service. The pluses to this review/business is that Victoria's home is very well equipped for a dog or puppy with a double gated outside play area, plenty of toys, and just all around great environment to also get well aquatinted with other pups. She also responds very quick to text and is flexible with payments. She also makes sure your puppy's have current vaccinations to protect your puppy and others. She also offered to clip Chances nails before I left and gave him a trim around his eyes which I didn't ask for but, I appreciated it. It does take a passionate dog lover to open up your home and train a strangers dog so she gets a star for that for sure! Still up for debate if I would go back for boarding? read more

Before she entered our lives, our sweet pup (Oakley) was essentially a tiny, furry sprinkler of pee and a landmine factory of poop. Every day was a new guessing game of "What's that smell?" and "Oh no... I just stepped in it, didn't I?" Enter Victoria, the dog whisperer / saint / wizard / actual angel disguised as a trainer. We sent our puppy to her for board and train, and I swear she sent back a completely different dog--one that pees OUTSIDE. I repeat: OUTSIDE. I don't know what kind of Hogwarts-level sorcery she pulled, but it worked. And that's just the beginning! My dog now knows how to sit like a proper lady, "leave it" like it's hot, and stay "quiet"like a ninja. The jumping to greet everyone like they owe her money? Way down. The nipping with those razor-sharp baby teeth? She taught her that humans are friends, not chew toys. That's all just bonus material at this point--my bar was literally "Please just don't treat the living room like a toilet." Victoria is amazing at what she does, truly. Victoria is an excellent trainer. We found a stray Pitbull and Victoria has been helping us calm our dogs anxiety and has helped her learn how to get along with our much smaller dog. Our dog is calmer and listens to commands, and we see being able to keep her because of Victoria's training. Victoria did a fantastic job with our 6 month old basset hound. She's responsive, professional, and got the job done. Winston, our dog, does have some work to do but since coming home he has no problem with potty training and the commands: - sit - drop - leave it - wait - stop biting - let's go - go potty - outside - Look He's lost a few commands that he learned but that's because we haven't been able to follow up with what Victoria accomplished. The weather has prohibited us the past two weeks from taking 30 minutes outside. We do plan on going to the 3 free follow up sessions. I have never sent any of my other dogs to training and therefore can't compare my experience but I will be referring Positively Pups to my friends in the future. Awesome job! read more

Winnie started out as a wild unmanageable puppy and we got her back with a solid start at potty training and general obedience! I chose board and train for my pup Jasper (White German Shepherd - pictured twice in the photos) because of my busy schedule and I knew it would be best for him. Victoria and her Fiancé was great with him. His first week there they arranged for me to come and see him because I missed my pup. (he also got bite by something while there as well and they took care of him). they were more than willing to let me see him. when I arrived they brought him in and let him play around while they talked to me about his training and how it was going. I was also able to visit him more while there and even at one point had to take him to the vet because we thought that my Jas had a UTI. when I got Jas back, we were both so happy to have each other back. his first couple of days transitioning back home where a little hard for us both because we were both on different schedules and such, but here we are now, just fine. We got a goldendoodle puppy and were in over our heads bc she would jump, bite, eat shoes, bark, was terrible on walks - you name it! Victoria is so patient, kind, relatable, and soo knowledgable. She had such realistic solutions that were doable and maintainable to train our dog. She let us be hands on with the dog during the training to carry it over at home. I searched hi and low for just the right dog trainer! I wanted my pup to be in a home atmosphere, not crated for prolonged periods, trained with a positive reinforcement/marker training method and all at a reasonable price. That is what I got! Lulu came back home so much more well behaved than when she left! literally already worth every penny and she has only been home a week. I let Victoria know little quirks we were having and she fixed them in addition to basic training. Namely my large boxer pup now leaves my old yorkiepoo alone and they get a long! She is also way more efficient at pottying outside, rain or shine! We just had our follow up and LuLu continues to learn and is doing excellent at all the commands! Take note: the owner will have to learn all the words and reinforce the training! This is with any dog training! Use it or lose it!
