The Pet Granny is so awesome! If you love your fur babies like they really are your children - this…read moreis one of the best services you could ever provide them to ensure they're healthy, happy and have had potty breaks while you're away. The Pet Granny has helped me in so many ways -- from loving on our boys, Jackson (Italian Greyhound) and Lincoln (Doberman Pinscher) during midday visits to making sure they're feeling okay when they're sick, to saving our house from being flooded when one of our pipes froze. I'm not sure what I would do if I didn't have them around! They provide an excellent, reliable, trustworthy and friendly service. They never miss an appointment and have provided house-calls for me at the last minute when my plans have changed. I highly recommend The Pet Granny!

I would recommend you stay away from this service. Very rude and concerning behavior from the…read moreowner. When I complained they weren't showing up in the time window they promised, she said refused to apologize or do anything about it and did not offer a refund for coming in to my home earlier then I was paying for. What made me have to completely stop using the service is much worse. They misinterpreted the clear schedule and instructions I gave them and came into my home on the wrong day. When they called me to ask where my dog is and I told them they weren't suppose to walk that day, she literally yelled at me repeatedly. This is them coming in to my home on the wrong day and yelling at me for it, instead of apologizing. Their excuse was they sent me an invoice with different days. That is still their fault for showing up on the wrong days when I sent a very clear calendar and instructions. It wouldn't have been a big deal at all if they justapologized, but no. She continued to tell at me and told me to get a new walker. I said gladly! Don't trust these people in your home with your pets.

She's sat for our two dogs for quick weekend trips all the way up to a 12-day trip when we were in Europe. We have a Nest cam and one of my favorite things to do is see how excited our girls get when Pat shows up. We even had Pat come by to walk them on Saturdays during our heavy marathon training...you know, those days when you run 17 miles and just can't bear to walk another mile with your dogs...ha ha. After many AWFUL experiences with Rover, we decided we were "getting what we paid for" and decided to try a company with actual paid employees and corporate guidelines. Not every sitter is right for every client (that's why the meet & greet is so critical), and not every sitter is a good fit for the company. I believe feedback is VERY important, but I also believe that one bad apple doesn't necessarily reflect the entire company. We've used three sitters with DFW Pet Sitting, and only one gave me pause...and I provided that feedback to management. Everyone has always been super-responsive with us, and we're just very happy customers. Definitely recommend!

To which i said, "Jeff, we have known each other for 12 years, and you know I don't speak french!!" To which he said, "Stupide américain et votre connaissance myope du langage." I still don't know what he said. Yet, I assume since he considers himself an existentialist, and the way he looked lovingly at his leash, he was telling me one thing. He is in love with his dog walkers. And so am I. I miss my dog everyday. For the last two years he has joined me at work, everyday. This new move has him sitting alone at home. Though, he makes himself busy painting watercolors of his old home in Beaumont-Sur-Mer, or compiling a literary critique of the known works of Franz Kafka. I know he misses me as well. They help incredibly with this. I get daily pictures of their walks, and a log of the route they take. It makes me feel as if I'm right there with them. Without hearing Jeff recite made up Haikus of the various foliage changes during the season. So, I highly recommend Go Go. And in Jeff's words: "Je vis avec une Amérique illettrée qui ne peut pas arrêter de fréquenter la mauvaise femme." I don't even know what that means.

The owner, RoNae, seems to be very pleasant and honest in the initial meeting. My dog likes everyone, so I could not rely on his opinion of the walker's character. After a few visits I noticed my dog seemed antsy, so I started to check my alarm verifications for arrival and departure times. I was paying for a 30 minute walk, but noticed two times it was closer to 9 minutes. My dog and I gave them the benefit of the doubt until it happened again at 11 minutes. RoNae was unable to refund me and just apologized. My worry was for the people that do not have anyway of timing them. My main reason for sharing this is for the animals. I always want the best care for mine and I believe this company is NOT the best option.
