Love this program!! Definitely worth it!! We have an amstaff puppy. (Very stubborn but very smart) Ki has been amazing and patient with our big guy. We have seen incredible progress in just 4 weeks!!

Both followed basic sit/down/stay commands for this photo. Yes!

I can't say enough about Samantha. I hired her to do the reverse board and train with my four poodles (two standard and two mini) while I was in Colorado for five days. She stayed in touch the who week with updates and pictures of the pups, and I felt extremely confident that I had left them all in extremely capable, but gentle hands. When I got back at the end of the week to my still-clean home, my pups were quick to show off their new skills. Even the babies can now follow basic sit, down, and stay commands. With next-day follow up on what I need to do to continue the progress, and six-months of included group lessons, it was money well spent to iron out minor anxiety and potty-training issues and teach basic skills. Thanks so much Samantha and Karma dog training.

Ask the Community - Karma Dog Training

I have an 85 lb great prynees mix that has huge leash aggressive issues. But all of the posts I see about Karma Dog are puppies and such. Has anyone had a BIG dog with aggressive issues?

Yes! We are currently working with them (specifically Allyson) with our 4 year old Doberman who has issues with our toddler. It’s a slow go with our particular problem, but it is definitely working. And this is not the first trainer we’ve tried.… Read more

There are so many ways Kathlyn has gone above and beyond. Six months ago, we went out of the country, and had a cat get very sick while we were gone. He had to be euthanized. She only has to go check on her once a week, but she has been going more frequently just because she cares and working with her!! I could go on and on, honestly. I've never left my cat Archie for a week long trip before, and I was worried about who could watch him. After seeing some reviews, Sugar's looked like a good bet - and... blackjack! Every time Kathlyn came, she sends a journal of what your pet was doing/what she did along with multiple photos. She also noticed I didn't have enough food to refill after the 5th day. When I told her where it was, she came back the next day to check on him (after checking with me) FREE OF CHARGE!! Can't hype Sugar's up enough. I'll be a return customer.

We were preparing to embark on a short 4-day trip but it would be the first time we had ever left our dogs behind and I was very nervous about finding a sitter/company that was a good fit for us. From day 1, VIP impressed me with their level of communication and organization. Their online client portal is easy to navigate and great for checking your schedule, pets info, etc. Nancy, their Director of Client Relations, is incredibly detail oriented, great at follow up, and actually does what she says she will do (a rarity in this day and age!). Our assigned sitter, Amber, took amazingly good care of our pups. Her communication was stellar and I felt the entire time that it wasn't "just a sitter" there watching our pups, it felt like a family member was taking care of them. I truly felt like she treated them like her own and couldn't have asked for anything more. If you're searching for a pet sitter I HIGHLY recommend VIP. You will not be disappointed.

While I was the one who spoke with him on the phone and would be training the dog, he insisted said he needed to meet with my boyfriend to do the session. Within the first 10 minutes he kicked my 15 pound shihtzu, who was only sniffing his boot, which was not the dog that needed training. Our concern is that our Frenchie cries when I'm upstairs, his recommendation was to crate her and let her cry, walk her on a choke collar to show her authority and not let her use a doggy door or access toys. Found his vibe to be abusive. He also only works 12-3pm and insisted we take off work to accommodate his schedule. Needless to say we had him leave after 40 minutes.

Any dog owner knows how stressful it is on the dog (and the owner) to be boarded somewhere new - especially an old dog. I found Joseph on Yelp, and I'm extremely happy I did! I really felt comfortable with Joseph after an initial phone call and brief meeting. He was very knowledgeable about dogs and gave off lots of good energy. My pup really seemed to take to him. Even though it was pretty last minute, Joseph made a way! I dropped my dog off and later on that first day, he sent me texts and videos containing updates on how well Simba was acclimating to his new environment with his temporary master. This was the BEST part. I trusted Joseph with a little piece of my heart, and he really gave me the peace of mind I needed to enjoy my vacay! I will definitely call him again when I need doggie daycare or short term boarding.

We had used Matt for several years and everything was fine until recently. We have 2 large dogs…read moreand we asked Matt to walk our dogs 3 times per day when we went away for a few days in March. When we returned we noticed a strong smell of urine in the house. Our dogs are housebroken and never have accidents while we are home so I suspected they had not been walked very much while we were gone. There was no proof so we chalked that up to one bad experience and moved on. When we went on a trip earlier this month we asked Matt to watch and walk our dogs while we were away. All was confirmed by text on a Tuesday before we departed on Thursday. A check for the full amount was left. We had asked Matt to walk the dogs 3 times per day while we were gone. We also asked Matt to send us a text following the first visit to confirm all was OK. When we arrived at our destination several hours later we had not received a text from Matt. I sent a text to Matt but got no response. I called and left a message-no response. At that point we became very concerned so we called some neighbors to check on our dogs. They confirmed the check had been picked up but they could not tell if the dogs had been walked or fed so they did both. We were told our dogs relieved themselves many times during this walk so I don't believe they were walked earlier. Over the course of the next 2 days we tried to contact Matt many times with no response. During this time several of our neighbors came to our house to feed and walk the dogs and no one ever saw Matt walk the dogs. They did see his truck outside our house once for approximately 15 minutes. On Saturday morning one of our neighbors left a note in our house with our phone numbers asking Matt to call if/when he came to the house. During this time we located and hired another sitter on an emergency basis to avoid imposing on our neighbors. We finally received a call from Matt approximately 8 hours later on Saturday evening telling us his phone was broken. Since we had completed an application with our contact information before ever hiring Matt I was not satisfied with that excuse. I advised Matt we had hired another sitter to care for our dogs for the remainder of our trip. There has been no contact with Matt since then. When we arrived home we went to our neighbor's home to thank them in person for helping us. At that point they showed us a very disturbing video. In this video we see an unidentified woman leaving our home in what appeared to be only a towel. Matt leaves about 5-10 seconds later and then they drive off. To say we were amazed is an understatement. I am not sure what is going on with Matt but I have a real problem with the neglect of our dogs and the apparent total disregard for our property. I have a real problem with strangers being brought into our house while we are away. We have now had all of our locks changed and our security system updated so we are never in this situation again.
