I picked up my dogs Honey and Rubie a few weeks ago from the 2 week board and train. At first I was hesitant about the results. The end of program training with me and my kids was impressive but I was not sure they would continue behaving at home. Jake was our trainer and he was very good at explaining to me how to use their system and how to continue things at home. The first few days I was worried as my dogs did seem stressed from the entire experience. However, after being home a few days they bounced back and I felt brave enough to work on the things Jake taught us by using the collar. I have to say, I am very very happy with the results. My older dog RUbie had many issues with being aggressive towards other dogs and making walks miserable. Jake completely fixed that and she is now very tolerant of other dogs. They both have stopped jumping, barking all the time in the house, and counter surfing. My home is so much more peaceful. I am continuing to work with the dogs and am realizing that I must continue to use the collars and work with the dogs daily to continue to see results. I am very very happy with Jake and All Dogs Unleashed. read more

Our Poodle Jack graduated here. We saw Instant results when it was finished. To tell the truth we are not the best at implementing the collar at home however he was noticeably much more calm and understanding of what was not acceptable behavior. The trainer after graduation was more than willing to take a call from us or chat about home implementation though so it's no fault to the program that we saw some regression. We take advantage of the boarding and refresher courses while he's staying. The last two times made very impressive improvements. You get to circle what you want to work on the most during the stay and I can definitely tell they worked on what was requested. Overall I'm happy with the investment. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'm very comfortable leaving Jack with them for overnight stays and I would recommend the program to anyone read more

We got Kumo when he was 2 months old, and we tried training him & maintain consistency right off the bat. Although Kumo is highly intelligent & an overall good boy, there were just a couple of behaviors that were challenging to correct (such as begging for & stealing food or controlling his separation anxiety). Thanks to his trainer, Jake, we have a better understanding of how to better communicate with Kumo & Kumo knows what would be expected from us. Jake & the rest of the staff at All Dogs Unleashed are friendly & professional, so we're glad we invested in their Boarding & Training program. In addition, the facility is clean & safe and we got responses in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them for dog parents/owners out there! read more

the staff are well educated and Cassie did achieve the goals we'd set. Our trainer was great and we enjoyed working with him (Brandon/Bryan). Everyone else was comfortablm w I would very much recommend All Dogs Unleashed for dog training. I think people need to understand that their dog will not come home fully trained after 2-3 weeks. The training is meant to set the routines for obedience, etc, so that the owner can continue the training at home using techniques and the collar. This worked well with our Cassie (she's willful but sweet); we were able to carry the training on at home. Our only issue was that the e-collar was too heavy for her and we couldn't tighten it enough to get it to stay in place on The side of her neck. It kept sliding down to her getting a similar color that uses sound and vibration and it worked as well for our pup. I would recommend the training using the e-collar and the techniques at ADU. We are continuing to work with Cassie using the e-collar and the techniques we and Cassie learned are a huge help. read more

At first it seemed great but after a few days we quickly realized it was a huge mistake and regret doing the 2 week board and train. Socialization is mentioned however they said later that they don't have dogs there for training interact with other dogs. So for two weeks our dog heard loud barking but wasn't able to interact with others and now has a fear and is reactive to other dogs when she never was prior to this. It is awful trying to undo the damage that was caused. Another issue is they train with an e-collar. Part of this is my fault for not asking more questions beforehand however I didn't love the idea of buzzing my dog everytime she isn't following directions. Dachshunds are known for having back issues and the idea of pulling on the collar and it potentially causing damage to her throat is something we didn't want to deal with. If anything, she just became fearful of ever wearing it. I recommend asking A LOT of questions ahead of time on how the dog is trained to make sure you are comfortable with it. If I had known this I wouldn't have done it. Go with your dog to classes instead. read more

My experience here was entirely dependent on what trainer your dog gets assigned. The first time (I did the 2 weeks board and train) I was assigned Casey. The company has you fill out intake paperwork and go over any primary concerns and problem areas. Barking in specific situations was one of them for my dog. When I picked my dog up, Casey asked me "So Bernie has an issue with barking in (insert the situations we talked about on intake). I felt like the top reasons my dog went there were ignored by this trainer. He was also difficult to get in touch with after the board and train, always curt and cut me most the 2 times I did speak to him on the phone regarding follow up issues. If my review was based on this trainer I would have given one star. Having said that, I sent my dog back for some refresh training. I was assigned a trainer named Bob who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was wonderful with my dog and I could see a big difference when I picked my dog up just in the interaction he had with Bob vs Casey. With Bob he was calm, obedient, and I could tell he really liked him. With Casey, he seemed scared when I picked him up and I was hesitant to even send him back there. I would give Bob a five start review without reservation. The front desk staff was great, no issues there, clean facility. Again, just really inconsistent in quality of training personnel. read more

I enrolled my friendly F1B Goldendoodle in a two-week board and train program. When I picked him up, he was terrified, hiding behind me for protection and afraid of his trainer. At home, I noticed scabs on his neck from the e-collar, and now he lowers his head and hides whenever the collar is brought out. This behavior is completely uncharacteristic of him. I deeply regret the experience and the money wasted. Please use a trainer who uses humane methods and avoids e-collars. read more

To be clear, I have a "hard case" dog that I was highly confident was untrainable. She is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd and when we dropped her off at training and filled out the inventory of "bad behaviors", I checked every single box on the form (chewing furniture, aggressive with other dogs/humans, barking incessantly, digging in backyard, running away, attempting to jump in front of cars, etc). Most of these bad behaviors were witnessed firsthand by the staff at All Dogs Unleashed as I was filling the form out...she literally was so bad, a couple people left the waiting room out of annoyance and fear. My wife was fit to be tied and training was a last resort. Fast forward through 2 weeks of training and when we arrived to pick her up, we literally did not recognize her behaviorally. She was acting like one of the most well behaved dogs I have ever been around. Every command that she was given, she consistently obeyed without hesitation. When I say Brendan (her trainer) is a miracle worker, that is a gross understatement. This guy is just the best. She has now been home for over a week and while she tested us a little, with some minor correction/reinforcement (that Brendan taught us how to apply), her behavior has been immaculate. So so impressed. Cannot recommend All Dogs Unleashed enough. read more

These guys are awesome! Our two, 17-month old Maltipoos were becoming insufferable. While adorable, they were also willful and seemed quite resistant to our amateur attempts at training. If anything, their behavior was worsening: barking at random noises, crazy barking at other dogs or people, constant tugging at the leash, hovering up every loose bit of debris in their path, and the most recent being waking us multiple times during the night. We were exhausted and feeling defeated by a pair of dogs that combined weighed less than a partially full suitcase. We knew of All Dogs Unleashed and figured we'd get professional help. On my first call, Travis answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable with their process. A quick visit and I was convinced just on walking in the door...the facility didn't smell like dog. It was clean and the staff very nice. Touring the facility only confirmed the cleanliness reached throughout. We dropped our pups off for the two-week board and train, hopeful but with tempered expectations. Layton, our trainer, kept us updated on their progress and sent us photos midway. When we returned to pick up the pups, Layton met us and spent over an hour discussing the training, their progress, individual idiosyncrasies, what came next, and made sure to answer all our questions. Layton then demonstrated the training by bringing out each dog. He then taught us how to handle them, provide feedback, and praise their efforts. The results were AMAZING! While not perfect, our pups' bad behaviors were almost entirely gone. They walked at our side, no leash pulling, no crazy barking, came when called, and stayed when placed. It was like having new, improved versions of what we dropped off. Now, a couple of days after bringing them home, we remain amazed at the change. They are still our loving pups, but they're no longer crazy and we're able to sleep through the night. Many thanks to Layton and All Dogs Unleashed for helping us make excellent dog citizens from the raucous pair we originally dropped off. read more

My dog Major is a one and a half year old silly golden retriever. I brought him in one morning for daycare. Five minutes after I left him, I received a call that he had attacked a dog. I asked if the dog was okay - 'yes'. I asked if the the dog was large or small - 'same size'. I asked what kind of dog - 'German Shepard'. I then asked if my dog was okay - 'yes'. When I went to pick him up, he was blue, not his usual playful self. I later that day discovered that he had been bitten. The next day I met with the manager who explained to me that there are a lot of the regulars and sometimes don't accept 'newbies". Mind you, my dog was still on the leash when they brought him into the play area with all of the other dogs. I took Major to the vet because the bite was oozing and bloody and he was extremely uncomfortable. It was infected and he was given 21 days worth of antibiotics and steroids, and had to wear a donut to prevent further injury. I called to speak with the Director that afternoon and was told he would call me the next day. The Corporate Director Mark Kluge emailed me, (didn't call) and apologized for the oversight in not catching the puncture wounds. He did not apologize for his staff lying to me about what actually happened that morning. I want people to know what kind of establishment All Dogs Unleashed is - one that covers up, is deceitful and blaming, and doesn't take responsibility- so that this will not happen to someone else's dog! read more

I don't know what crazy voodoo magic they did with my Harley but she basically went from a little ball of destruction that would target my small electronics to a calm, cool, collected and polite dog that needs permission to enter any room of the house. Our trainer Layton was nothing short of a miracle worker with my 4 month old puppy. We brought her in for a two week boarding/training as a full blown last resort. If she didn't come out of there manageable we were gonna get rid of her. She used to whine, bark and destroy things when I was anywhere in the apartment where she didn't have direct line of sight to me. I couldn't put anything within her reach because she would take it and destroy it (kitchen towels, charging cables, napkins, etc). Going for walks was an uncertain affair, no idea if or when she was gonna do her business or if she was gonna even walk. She would lay down on the grass and not move when she didn't feel like walking. It's been 4 days since she's been home from her training and she won't go for anything that's not her toys. We even sat down to eat in front of her (on the coffee table so she has full reach to our food), she sat down next to us and didn't make a peep. Walking her is super easy now, she goes out and does her business nearly right away. She also knows when is playtime and when playtime is over so she still gets to be a puppy in the dog park. It's is nothing but a miracle. Money well spent. Now I can cuddle my Harley without guilt. read more

Was looking forward to boarding my pup there but the Board and Train agreements discourage any expressive opinions about experience if so then subject to attorney fees, legal costs etc... Time to see how well they have done at training my grand-critters! I have hopes that they have worked a few miracles with these pups. Specifically, jumping on people, pulling when on leash just to name a few of the issues. I know my kids paid a pretty penny for two dogs, for a two week stay that includes training. They have several animals in the house which includes older dogs. I think training is important with the young pups because of the stress they cause the older dogs. The Dobermans already have had some training at another facility and to say the least they are not well behaved dogs. It drives me nuts! I made an impromptu visit since I hadn't had any updates on the pups progress. I was a little guarded since my son had told me I would be getting a call regarding the puppies including information regarding their progress. I had not heard anything. I felt justified in stopping by so I could set up drop off time of the dogs. I got to visit with the Dobermans handlers Daniel and Steven and I gotta say they know their stuff. The puppies will not be coming home as planned, they are not ready and need additional training. Wow! That's awesome that they stand 100% behind their training! They explained to me the good, bad, and the ugly about each of the dogs. Be aware that you won't get to physically see your dog and the reason is that it disrupts their learning curve and will cause the handlers to lose valuable training time. Be patient your dog will be happy to see you and will still love you! 2017/46 read more

I wanted to update my review. I must say Mark took the time to want to fix my bad experience the first time around. He matched me and Dolce with Cesar who is absolutely amazing. Cesar took the time to understand what the problem was, where he needed to focus and gave me great feedback that I didn't get the first time. Cesar went above and beyond to make sure this time around was an experience that is expected from their company. He definitely set the standard. I am happy with my dogs progress. My dog came to ADU last October for their board and train program. When I picked him up after his 2 weeks, he had made noticeable improvements in his training (however not all behaviors were completely fixed, and they were up front about that). Since then, I have been trying to get in touch with them to get follow-up training scheduled, which they promise is complimentary after you complete the board and train program. I've tried the office multiple times with no answer; one time someone answered and then immediately hung up on me. I even tried his trainer's cell phone (he gave me his business card when I picked him up), and he hasn't called me back either. Great! They use a balanced training method which is what I was looking for in this case. My dog had leash and barrier frustration to the point that we couldn't take him anywhere (including on walks). We had tried a purely positive 6 week manners I class to no avail. I called them and was fitted in for the following week for a 2 week board and stay. We were super nervous about leaving Watson there that long and a bit sceptical about if it would work. We got a report card at the 8 day mark on his progress. Which was nice. Well when we picked him up his behaviour was so good! Since then we've been able to take him out to the farmers markets, dog parks, soccer games, etc. And have actually been complemented on how well behaved he is. He's also been socialised better and now engages in play with other dogs like a champ! Thank you all so much!! read more

Clean facility, friendly staff, great trainers! Took my almost 2 yr old golden doodle to spend two weeks in the board and training program , to learn how to behave around strangers and just respect/listen to us. She used to bark at night at any noise she heard outside and bark at strangers all the time. It's been about a month and she's still going strong! She has learned it's not ok to bark at people. On our walks, she heels and is on a loose leash. We will walk by other people walking their dog and she doesn't lunge. When people come over, she stays in place and doesn't bark at them! We never owned a dog before and take full responsibility for enabling her previous bad behaviors. Thankfully, All dogs unleashed saved us! We are forever grateful and love that they offer a lifetime guarantee in case she slips. I removed one star (would have been a half if that was an option) because they keep you in the dark for two weeks with only an update on progress and a few pics one day halfway through the stay. It would have been nice to have one more checkin. I'm sure there's a good reason but it was tough on us! Also, she wasn't bathed at pick up so I had to give her a bath when we got home. Would highly recommend, worth every penny! read more

Ben is a miracle worker!! After adopting a lovable but grumpy adult beagle in March 2020, my boyfriend and I struggled to train Tyrion ourselves. Despite many attempts, even basic commands were a struggle without food involved (and even then we'd have to ask multiple times). After a bad nipping incident, we finally pulled the plug and signed up for All Dogs Unleashed 2 week training. While the price tag was more than we would have liked, it was well worth it + beyond by the end! Almost two months after the two week boarding period + 1 in-home session, Tyrion is like a new dog. He is no longer ignoring commands and running in every direction on walks. Most importantly, his nipping "grumpy dog" habit has also greatly improved. If you don't need much to convince you that something is worth your time - this is worth your time, without a doubt. If however, you are more like me and want extensive detail please read on. I heard of all dogs unleashed at a local dog park where one of their trainers had a perfectly well behaved and attentive pet. It perked my attention. 2 years later, I picked out a beautiful GSD female from the little. Little did I know despite my experience she would test me - so I reached out, got scheduled and she went to summer camp. Throughout the two weeks we got one report card letting me know how she was doing; which was a little less than I would have wanted but I understand why there is only one. Once we got there two weeks later to pick her up we met with Steven and while young, don't let that fool you, his extensive experience and knowledge was astounding. He made sure we understood every part of the program, the rules, the equipment, our problems, our hesitations and solved every last one of them. Steven was professional, approachable, and all around remarkable. We will certainly be taking our Harley back to ADU for refresh training, more for us than her (haha), and likely for our other pets. You wrote a review for All Dogs Unleashed 5 minutes ago 3.0 star rating11/28/2020 We sent our Border Collie Birdie to the two week boarding/ training program from 10/27-11/10. I would like to start off by saying we have seen a massive improvement in behavior and overall walking technique, before sending Birdie we had issues with pulling on the leash and overstimulation on walks. However, when picking Birdie up we noticed a giant gash in his back left leg. Over the two weeks this was never brought to our attention via phone or email. We did call and speak to the front desk on the fourth day of Birdie being at All Dogs Unleashed and were told "no notes" on his profile and the front desk said "no notes is good". We received a report card and photos halfway through the training program no mention of the giant gash or any visible pictures of his back leg from the report. When my husband picked Birdie up the first thing he noticed was his back leg. Birdie's. trainer Layton did not lead with a report of what happened he was prompted to tell my husband when he initiated the conversation. We were told Birdie tried to jump on something pretty soon (date was unclear) after arriving at the facility and cut his leg. Layton mentioned they had someone inspect the cut at All Dogs Unleashed, still unsure who that was or if they have any vet tech background. We took Birdie to our local vet after bringing him home because of the severity of the cut. The vet tech said the cut was a level 2/3 incision and would have stitched it if she had been informed right when the incident took place. Birdie was prescribed two antibiotics and a bacterial spray. We called Layton from All Dogs Unleashed and asked for his $200 vet bill to be covered by All Dogs Unleashed for lack of communication, which they did reimburse us for. I am aware the All Dogs Unleashed is not responsible for Birdie's cut and eventual scarring but we were very disappointed at the lack of communication and my husband and I not being able to choose how we wanted to handle proper after care. I would recommend All Dogs Unleashed training program for behavioral concerns but would warn future customers of the safety of the facility. *I have attached pictures of Birdies incision (now 2 1/2 weeks in recovery) and our vet informed us that this would leave a permanent scar.* read more

We were desperate for a positive change in our large dog's behavior but did not want to use a shock collar. We tried EVERYTHING including wonderful trainers. Nothing worked. Finally found All Dogs and we left Parker there for 2 weeks training. Her trainer was LAYTON. He was fantastic. Parker loved him and we did too. After two weeks we went to the facility to be trained ourselves. Layton spent 2 hours with us. First, he talked about our dog and what we needed to be doing with and for her. Then we went outside and worked with Parker and Layton. The collar is an e-collar. A much lower frequency than a shock collar. This collar will not burn them or hurt them. It will get their attention and after weeks of us working with Parker she is getting it! She never came to us without us yelling "C H E E S E". Now she comes even when not wearing the collar. We are all much happier. I highly recommend All Dogs Unleashed and think that Layton is a wonderful person and trainer. read more
