I've had my dog for 2 years, and this was the first time I've boarded her. She is very shy and untrusting of new places, but the staff were amazing and obviously care about the pets entrusted to them. I could tell from the pictures that Sadie was doing well, and the facility is clean. I really appreciate that you are allowed to bring their bed and a toy! read more

Cannot say enough good things. Take my dog here consistently for daycare and overnight boarding - staff is SO professional, friendly and clearly love dogs. Owner is also very involved - I toured the back: looks great for the dogs! - really well organized - they post pictures of the dogs everyday on FB, so I can see what my baby is up to! - reasonable pricing, especially for the quality of care - door to door drop off service! So convenient in the AM Thank you all! My dog has become so much more confident since she started playing with the Bigs Group, and always comes home tired and happy. read more

Kelce has been to two other doggie daycare facilities but Underdog suits her perfectly. I love that you can see how your dog is doing on their Facebook page. When I pick Kelce up, she is happy well balanced, ready to come home eat her dinner and go to bed. I can tell that she's content not overly exhausted or anxious. I love this place! And the icing on the cake is the staff, they are amazing and Rob the owner went above and beyond answering my initial questions. He cares, he's involved and he knows dogs! read more

5/5 Stars - Underdog Kennels is the ONLY place we trust with our pups! We've been taking our dogs, Abby and Herb to Underdog Kennels for daycare and occasional boarding for 4 years now, and I can't say enough good things. They absolutely love it here--they get so excited every single time we pull up to the facility, tail wagging like crazy as soon as they recognize the place! The staff knows them by name and truly seems to love their jobs. They take such great care of him--playtime, attention, the works. Herb has some anxiety, especially when the group has to play indoors due to weather, so they proactively moved him to VIP play (individual supervised sessions) to keep him comfortable and stress-free. That kind of thoughtful, personalized attention means the world to us. We usually have a trusted pet sitter for overnights, but if she's not available, Underdog Kennels is the only place we'll board our pups. No question. They come home happy, tired, and clearly well-loved. It's a relief knowing they're in such caring hands. Highly recommend--whether for daycare or boarding, Underdog treats every dog like family. Thank you to the amazing team! read more

I have been taking my puppy to Underdog Kennels regularly for daycare, since he was 4 months old and he loves it. He is very excited when he meets anyone in Underdog Kennels when I drop him off. I'm at peace when I leave him as he is excited to go. The picture updates during the playtime is absolute best idea, I quickly check during the day if he is doing okay. Here are some pictures of his playtime, he has the absolute best time with his buddies. Pictures don't lie, it is indeed a happy place for my puppy read more

I recently moved to Dallas and found Underdog a Kennels on Yelp. This is the place to take your dog! The owner was super nice when I called to get more information. My dog absolutely loves going here. I am pretty nervous about dropping her off at new places but this place is a place I can trust. The first day they provided me with her report card. I requested her to stay again and they approved it almost immediately. I love that the dogs have long days and opportunities to play all day. They also provide lunch (I sent my dogs food with her because she's a little picky with food). I also really like that they post pictures so you can see how your dog day is going. Overall this is the BEST place in Dallas to drop off your dog! read more

I discovered Underdog Kennels on Groupon. They offered a great deal - 5 days of daycare for $50. Whaaat?! They are located near my work, so Hubby and I booked the deal and tried them out. Bailey had the best day. They post so many photos on Facebook during the day, showing the fun that the pups are having. Bailey came home tired and happy. I love the friendliness of the staff. They make you feel comfortable leaving your dog for the day. When my five days are over, we will be using them again! Give them a try. You won't regret it! read more

Best place ever! I've tried other daycares just to experiment, and let me say my dog makes it CLEAR this is where he wants to be! The staff is incredible. I'm super obnoxious and ask them way too many questions (food, poop, behavior-related....you name it) but what blows my mind is they always have an answer. They know every move my dog made that day & can report back to me no problem. My dog is on the smaller side but somehow manages to DRAG me inside once we arrive b/c he's so excited. Just a few examples of them going above & beyond: 1. Any time I've told them he's struggling with digestive issues they offer to put pumpkin in his food. 2. One time I brought my friend's dog that Moose loves to play with along with us to daycare on a holiday weekend but he hadn't been temperament tested yet. The owner offered to do it herself before the first group went out at 8:45AM so he could play! 3. Also when I've brought my friend's dog, they put the dogs in rooms where they could see each other :) 4. They've told me anytime he's thrown up even without me asking. 5. They just literally love my dog as much as I do! All of this to say, I 100% recommend Underdog Kennels! read more

I had to leave town unexpectedly and had never used Underdog Kennels before. The Staff processed my dog's intake documents quickly and was able to approve her appointment right away. The staff welcomed my dog upon arrival and made her feel comfortable. When I came to pick her up 5 days later she came out of the pick-up door SMILING!!! She was energetic and happy!! It was very apparent she had enjoyed her stay! I LOVED the report she received upon check out. It mentioned the qualities the staff had noticed she exhibited and listed the names of her favorite playmates. read more

We love UK! We've tried several doggy daycares in the area and Rosie loves this one the best. I drop her off for daycare basically every day. They take really good care of her and are very sweet, especially John and Rob. I drop off some food for her to have as a midday snack and they always accommodate. Regarding playtime, I think Rosie likes this daycare more because the humans play and interact with them, in my opinion. Overall, I trust them with my furbaby without any reservations read more

Underdog has been amazing for my recently rescued and skittish street dog. I travel a lot for work and needed to find the right fit for boarding for him. When I spoke with Rob on the phone, he assured me that they would work with my pup's quirks and insecurities and they truly have. He gets so excited as our car gets closer and he tries to go back inside when I pick him up! I love seeing the Facebook posts everyday and seeing him in with his group of friends. They are teaching him how to be a dog and I couldn't be more grateful for a safe haven like Underdog! Everyone I've spoken to between phone calls, pick ups, and drop offs have been incredibly kind to me and sweet to Jet. Thank you all! read more

There hours have become so restrictive and they charge too much. Go to All American Pet Resorts. Far superior in so many ways!

The very best in town! My dog always comes back so happy and well cared for. This is the only place I will leave my dog overnight.

Highly recommend for daycare and boarding! My dog, Boba, is about 8 years old and has never been in daycare or boarding, but we needed to board her for a weekend trip after recently moving to the Dallas area. The website is intuitive. I was able to easily upload her information and reserve the meet and greet/daycare day to happen just 2 days after setting up her profile. The day of, Rob greeted me and took Boba in (with COVID-19, they come get your dog(s) from your car). While she was there, UK sent me a link to their Facebook page where they consistently and reliably post pictures of the dogs playing. She loves going to dog parks, so it looked like she was really enjoying her day there. Her boarding was from a Fri-Sun, and I was a little nervous about dropping her off since we've always had friends/family watch her when we are out of town. I was super impressed that they continued posting pictures on their Facebook page through each day of the weekend, so I was able to see that Boba was doing fine (whew!) and was enjoying herself. She had such a great time, that when we picked her up and someone brought her out to the car, she walked right past us which is quite a testament to the quality of her experience at UK since she is very attached and gets some separation anxiety. Honestly, I also get separation anxiety when I leave her for trips, but the UK experience was comparable to having friends/family caring for her. Really happy to have found UK. Rob and his team are wonderful. You can tell that they treat your family like their family! read more

I'm not sure how to leave a review for a kennel because I'm not my dog but I presumably will leave a review on his behalf. Otis typically stays in the VIP suite. I'm not sure if he understands the difference between a regular suite and a VIP suite but he only lives once. He was a rescue so I imagine he appreciates his rooming to some degree. Otis has no desire to play with toys, dogs, or people. I'm always pleasantly surprised to see how exhausted he is when I pick him up and I have peace knowing in some way he was active. I've attached some photos I pulled off Facebook to see how he was doing. The kennel employees have always been helpful in terms of communication, follow up, and giving me a report card. 5 stars from the both of us. read more

I have had a hard time finding a boarder that I trust and know will take great care of my dog when I am needing to leave town. Underdog Kennels is AMAZING! They are extremely kind and professional and take great care of all the animals there. My dog came back home happy and exhausted from non-stop play with her fellow dog-friends at Underdog. I appreciate having a place that I can trust to take excellent care of my dog. Side note. If they weren't already amazing enough with the care they give to dogs boarding, they are also extremely involved with Dallas Pets Alive - taking in and working to get sweet pups adopted from around DFW. If I could give more stars to Underdog Kennels I would! Our elderly golden retriever stays with them when we have to go out of town and at 16 years old, we would not trust just any place with our sweet old girl! She has been going there for the last 4 or so years and they never take less than excellent care of her- she is excited to get out of the car when we arrive and she comes back happy, smelling fresh, and healthy. It is also so nice to be able to check Facebook while we are gone to see her smiling photos from the private play they offer. It is always easy to get in touch with someone and they are always so accommodating, all around wonderful experience! read more

Recently used Underdog to board my Great Pyrenees over Thanksgiving after a referral from and friend and had a great experience. I was a little nervous at first about leaving him for 9 days, it was the first time he'd ever been boarded, but was reassured after I followed them on Facebook and saw he was having a great time every day in the photos they post where he was obviously having way too much fun. We even got a report card after his stay that outlined how he behaved (I was a little worried about because he'd never been gone that long), how he interacted with the other dogs, and the one area he had to work on. They even bathed and brushed him before coming home. Overall a stress free and great experience for both of us. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place to board their dog! read more

I trust Underdog Kennels to look after our precious boy. His attitude says it all- pure excitement when he realizes where we are going. We recently boarded our pup over the holidays for a total of 6 days for a very affordable price. What really deserves the 5 star rating is the staff and the facility. The day prior day to our pup's staycation, we stopped in to get a tour of the place. The owner, Nickie, was so sweet and welcoming. The facility was very clean. They post updates on their FB page of all the pups throughout the day. I highly recommend Underdog for all your pup's accommodations. Look at the face of our happy pup during play time! read more

This site took care of my puppy during the winter storm. Very responsive to messages and phone calls. It's been such a stressful time but it warmed my heart to see my dog was being treated well!! The owner even sent me pictures of my dog playing in the snow, which is one of his favorite activities. They also post fun messages with your dog if they are staying over the holidays.
