It was a blessing to take her and our second GSP, Harper to their place. My dogs LOVED LDR. They were able to run, hike, and play in the pond. I was fortunate to have such a great place to take my dogs. Piper lived to be 16 and up until the last weeks of her life, she still went to Lucky dog. Harper passed away sooner (GSP rescue) but absolutely adored Jeff and Susan. Jeff and Susan, the owners are fantastic people and always treated my dogs with the best care and attention. They even let us lay Piper and Harper to have their final resting place at Lucky Dog. I highly recommend this place. They not only have great daycare but the cage free boarding is a refreshing change from having to board dogs at a facility where they only get to stretch their legs a few times a day. The vet told me it would be too stressful for him to be boarded while we were gone, so I read online reviews and called Ann. I honestly was blown away. Ann was extremely knowledgeable, and also just incredibly kind and loving toward my cat. She went out of her way to take care of him while we were gone. She brought over feeding syringes and gave him Pepcid to help his stomach, as he was unable to eat without throwing up. She honestly got more food down him than I had been able to. She also recommended a brand of food that he will finally eat on his own, and had great advice for me on how to get him to start eating again (we had the vet pull a few teeth). Every day when we were gone she kept me updated by sending emails and pictures of him. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. I will for sure be using Ann in the future, and cannot recommend her enough.

He has some matting on his butt because the hairs grew really long around it so I understood it would be a shorter cut. I dropped him off at 10:30am I was told to pick him up at 5pm and when I picked him up he had random pieces of hair hanging all over his body, cuts and lumps , no nail trim, no teeth brushing just a rushed Job done for over 6 hours. when he got into my car he ran under the passenger side seat hiding and growling at me and refused to let anyone touch him. I immediately went back into the school with tears streaming down my face and asked the school what happened they stated it took 3 people to hold down a 13 pound mini poodle and that he experienced some trauma I shouldn't have paid but I did. and left. When I returned home my dog continued to hide from me, looking into space and would flinch anytime I tried to get him. I knew in my heart something happened to him, I went back the next day to get some type of justice for him after seeing some hidden reviews over the years of them doing the same to other dogs. I went in stern because I was upset over my dog, I didn't curse, didn't throw things around and I still got the POLICE called on me. When I said very loud "wow to be black in america standing up for yourself gets you this" the owner Sasha laughed in my face and said with this attitude why would I help you. the police were called and their solution was they would have my dog return in 2 weeks and they would finish the haircut free of charge. I have so many issues with their resolution. Not once did they take accountability, they had lite me trying to convince me that my dog myst have gotten injured prior to Him coming to them and to top it off I was so much of a "threat" To them that they would call the police but not enough that it was okay for me to return. NOT OKAY. Don't EVER bring your animal here if you care about their well being.
